Abgeschiedene Hütte in altem Wald, nur wenige Meter vom Park entfernt! Auf 10 Morgen privat und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Greenbrier Creek entfernt, der aus dem Park kommt und in den Cosby Creek mündet, der mit Forellen bestückt ist (ca. 1,6 km). Das Angeln ist ohne Lizenz vor Ort in Ordnung. Kabine ist möbliert, voller Größe Herd / Backofen, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Mikro, Badewanne / Dusche-Kombination im Bad, Queensize-Bett im Obergeschoss (Wendeltreppe nicht für Personen mit Mobilitätsproblemen geeignet). Es hat eine eigene Feuerstelle, einen Picknick-Tisch, eine Hängematte und einen Grill. Das Hotel liegt in Cosby, Tn. Eine kleine nicht rechtsfähige ländliche Gemeinde, nur 27 km nordöstlich von Gatlinburg. Es gibt zwei separate Gemeinschaftsbereiche am Bach mit Picknick-Tisch, Hängematte und Feuerstelle für Ihr Vergnügen! Die landschaftlich reizvolle, bergige, relativ unbebaute, nicht rot beleuchtete Einfahrt nach Gatlinburg dauert 20-25 Minuten. Ca. 40-45 min. nach Pigeon Forge / Dollywood oder Sevierville fahren. Eine Privatstraße umrundet das Innere des Anwesens durch den Wald und den Blumengemüsegarten. Wir haben einen weniger befahrenen Eingang in den Park, nur 5 km vom Eingang zum Cosby Trailhead Campground entfernt. Es gibt 7 Restaurants, ein, sehr empfehlenswertes Carvers Apple House, 2 Dollar General Stores in einem Umkreis von 8 km und einen Wal Mart in 20 Minuten in einer kleinen, nicht touristischen Stadt, Newport, Tn. Für diejenigen, die Interesse an westlichen N. C. haben könnten, ist Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Hot Springs, Waynesville nur 45 min. und Ashville / Biltmore ist 1 Stunde. 10 Minuten. Die Interstate I-40 ist nur 13 km von uns entfernt, 10 km über dem Berg, durch den Park mit malerischen Ausblicken über den The Foothills Parkway. Perfekte Lage, um die Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee oder Western North Carolina zu genießen, ohne die Unterkunft wechseln zu müssen!

It was great but the creek didn't run anywhere close to us as it showed in the pictures. They need to thin out some smaller trees and clean up close to cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay in this rustic little cabin (with our 9-year-old dog). It's an older cabin, but has been well maintained, has character, is clean, and is in a great location. We loved how quiet and private it is. The bed linens were fresh and clean and there were plenty of clean towels in the bathroom. Chris met us on the road as we arrived and gave us helpful info for accessing the cabin and path to the creek. I took off one star only because the water temperature in the shower fluctuated between hot and cold. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit in this area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Honeymoon Cabin. We enjoyed the scenic drive into Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The cabin was simple, we didn’t need much because we mainly were out and about at Dollywood/Gatlinburg. We saw one bear on the property on our way back in one evening! There is a coffee shop nearby that’s in a laundry mat (about 2-4 miles down the road) we’d grab a warm coffee and enjoy the drive into Gatlinburg. My only complaint is the shower was not hot. It would be warm then turn cold intermittently. That could be fixed though. We never used the fire pit, but that looked super nice. This cabin is for enjoying the outdoors. It’s not luxurious for a glamper and that is what made it the best for us.

The property is secluded in the woods, private and quiet. The cabin is older but is well kept and in good shape. This is a wonderful setting with privacy. Great place to stay.

The owner was rude. When we told him about it being dirty he told us he had something in his pocket that would put us under the ground.
Would not give us a refund and we told him we would just go on and stay, he refused to give us the key to the cabin. Had to go get a motel room.

Set in the woods. Clean and great porch to relax after all the craziness of Dollywood etc. Chris our host was great and left extra towels throughout stay. A little walk to to creek which was so pretty. Not fancy but just perfect, with all that you need.

We loved the cabin. It was small but had all the amenities. It had a supreme location, especially if you like blazing your own trail. The smoky mountains were great! Saw 4 bears and 47 elk as well as amazing views.

Totally loved the property owner-so helpful. Place is MAGICAL!! Totally in nature. Beautiful property, gorgeous waterfalls on site! Camp fires every night! All within close distance to town if you need anything… best place in the world to UNWIND AND RELAX!

The cabin was nicely located away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Gatlinburg. Poor lighting in the living room. Cabin needs to be sprayed fir bugs.....had numerous bugs inside. Outside area around the cabin needed some attention, i realize its a cabin but it can still be eye appealing. Over all, enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed the porch swing very much.

We wanted a secluded and cozy cabin for mine and my husbands honeymoon and this cabin did not disappoint! It was wonderful enjoying early mornings and evenings listening to the sounds of nature but we were close enough to all the amenities that it wasn't inconvenient. There are 2 Dollar Generals within 2 miles for quick grocery runs and a Walmart less than half an hour away. There is so many things to do and see around the area outside of Gatlinburg. This is perfect for someone that likes being in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin was slightly dated but very clean. The owner was very nice and gave several good recommendations on food. The gardens are beautiful as well.

Had a great time at this rustic little cabin. It is very secluded and a great location to be able to explore with the dogs. Chris was super friendly and a great help on tips for things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend to someone wanting something off the beaten path, looking for something more secluded and in touch with nature. If the “resort” setting with fancy jacuzzi tubs and such is more what you’re looking for, you might look elsewhere, but don’t be surprised when it costs twice what this cabin does, and does not have the privacy and peacefulness of the Garden of Eden.

Perfect Outdoor Getaway
The cabin was great brought me back to my younger days when I'd take trips without kids. It's perfect for just one plus. Has everything you need except garbage bags. Can purchase firewood on site, creek has nice access once you find it, lots of scenery, creatures, and the best part is at night sitting by the fire and listening to the creek that flows on the property. Has a small water fall. I drove a 2010 Camaro down didn't realize it would be such a tight squeeze (branches) and the drive was gravel, we still made it no problem and it rained. I would go back just next time in a different car with garbage bags and we will be back¡!

Only two working outlets! No creek!
False advertising! Creek is not right next to the fire pit as pictured! Walked and explored but never could find the creek! No firewood (listing says firewood provided!) No table to eat at , two towels for two people staying 5 nights! Dirty sheets, dirty couch, spiders in the bathroom! Only plus was the location, hidden in the woods .

Dated, rustic, charming
The property is great if you want to hike and explore. Heavily wooded area with some bears. Cabin could use some updating, but is clean and cozy.. Close to other locations and needed stores or resources. Perfect for an outdoorsy couple who does not need modern and fancy, who just want to get away from it all. Doors aren't very secure when closed. Over all a very memorable stay. We would go back if the doors were fixed.

Wonderland
This is a very cute & cozy cabin. The location and seclusion is miraculous. Close to amenities but feels miles away. Take note of the description of this particular cabin... If you have mobility issues, you want a different cabin. The owners are very friendly but private. I will stay here EVERY time I come to the area.

Quiet and relaxing
Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The cabin was comfortable and clean and conveniently located very near some minimally trafficked hiking trails. Chris was an excellent host and incredibly helpful.

Really enjoyed the peaceful location with such a busy time of year everything went smoothly
Everything was as shown in the pictures we left a day early cause we missed our dogs. Chris was very nice and accommodating. We would definetly stay again.

Weekend
No one home for 4 pm checkin. Three couples wandering around. Finally 2 couples just picked a cabin and started to unpack. The third cabin had a car parked next to it so we assumed it was occupied. We were leaving to find another place to stay when the owner arrived about 4:30. The third cabin was ours and the parked car belonged to the cleaner. The cabin was very old furniture but it was clean. The major problem was the internet. It advertises internet but you must park your car in front of the office to access. I had work to do so I had to sit in the dark and cold to finish work. A real problem. We left the next morning.

Away from it all... but not too far
We loved this little cabin! It was very rustic and country feeling! We did however have to buy our own blanket because we got chilly and the blankets provided were not very big/thick. The shower was nice! The kitchen was great! It rained throughout our stay so we were not able to explore the grounds like we wanted! We are very outdoorsy so this broke my heart! Its so beautiful out here! The cabin is about 30 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and not a bad drive at all! However, there is so much to do in cosby! We absolutely loved the Carver Orchard where we ate dinner and shopped in their market. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! And hope to come back!

Private old cabin
This is extremely private and surrounded by woods and on the creek which is beautiful. The cabin was clean and quiet other than the pleasant sound of the creek. It is within 30 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Nice get away in the mountains. The land could have been a bit more cleared/cleaned up and some steps down to the creek so it is safer. Nice place to bring dogs.

Secluded Smoky Mountain cabin
My husband and I brought our dogs for a Smoky Mountains getaway. This cabin was just wonderful. Some of the highlights:
The AC worked wonderfully. The interior is clean. We loved the porch swing and fire pit. Our two labs loved sniffing as we walked the property. We only saw folks staying in other cabins on the property when they were driving out; we couldn’t hear or see them at all from our cabin. It’s an easy drive into Gatlinburg and the National Park. We loved hearing the creek and hiking around the property. It’s just beautiful! We hope to come back again.

Secluded wonderland
If you want seclusion then this is the place for you. Its exactly what we wanted. It far exceeded our expectations. We didn't see or hear anyone or anything besides Turkey's and birds. Check in and out was simple. The cabin was exactly how it looked in pictures. However, if you dont like spiders or bugs not the place for you. Its very damp as well inside the cabin. The air conditioning worked well and we had plenty of hot water and nice water pressure. If you like the bare minimum then you'll love this cabin. Short drive to Gatlinburg and the town of Cosby is beautiful. We hiked to Henwallow falls and I highly recommend it. We look forward to coming back!
