My 2 children and I (ages 8 & 10) had a wonderful stay. We saw dolphins in the intracoastal and in the gulf. The condo is spacious and the owners are very responsive. I loved being able to park in the garage and use the beach buggy and toys so we didn’t have to bring ours. A quick walk to the gulf makes the location great.

We had the most amazing time during our week stay in Indian Shores. The property was super nice and clean, with an amazing view of the intercostal waterway. We got to watch the dolphins pass through a couple times, and the beach is directly across the street. The owner was quick to answer any question we had, and even left us a welcome basket. We highly recommend staying at this place, and hope to come back soon.

This location was amazing!!! Rooms are exactly as pictured. View of Bay was beautiful! Space is large and was very clean! Very short walk to beach and the items in the garage to use at the beach made our stay easy and enjoyable. Thank you so much!!! My family needed exactly this!!

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Retreat in Indian Shores. The unit was just as described. Quiet, spacious unit with beautiful views of the intercoastal waterway from our windows. Easy walk to the beach. Owner provided beach chairs, etc. Owner was also very responsive when we had a little issue with the fridge. Talked us through the problem. We also received a welcome package upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo overall was very spacious, lots of closets & storage, nice furnishings, comfortable Master Bed & close to the beach. The Master had a full-wall window bringing in the view. Though there was a nice balcony overlooking the Intracoastal, it could not be utilized as workman in a boat blasted a boombox Mon-Fri. We spoke with the Dredging Co. on site who informed us they had been there the prior 2 wks & would continue for at least another 2 wks. The noise was deafening.
Though the condo was outfitted very comfortably, there was a lot of deferred maintenance thru-out. The front door was poorly aligned & would not stay closed unless the deadbolt was engaged. The icemaker worked sporadically. There was peeling paint/drywall dropping from the ceiling in the Guest Bath with the shower vent almost clogged shut with dirt/dust. The wall behind the bed in the Master had blood smudged from bugs that were killed. A fake plant in the Master was covered in a thick build-up of dirt/dust. The Master WIC ceiling had signs of mildew/mold. The kitchen floor mats were very old, dirty & stained. The stained kitchen towels were in need of replacement. There were no screens on the sliding doors & the tracks could use cleaning/oiling to eliminate the loud noise when used. A deep cleaning of the premises including baseboards, windows, interior door jams plus touch-up paint where walls, doors & baseboards have scuff marks would make a big difference. Otherwise, the condo has a very good vibe.

My family of 5 enjoyed every minute of our time at the property. We loved seeing the dolphins from the balcony, and the beach equipment was so handy for our short walks to the beach.
The location is perfect. A small store right next door was very convenient. And we utilized the trolley to spend a day in John’s pass. I would love to make this a yearly destination

We enjoyed our 17-day stay at this lovely condo in Indian Shores! Darryl and Isabel were great hosts, and we felt welcomed and at home from the start.
Spacious and clean, with awesome views of the intercoastal waterway from the main living area, master bedroom, and balcony. The unit is just steps away from a private pier on the intercoastal (with kayak launch), and a short walk to the Gulf beaches. Close to the trolley stop, and convenient to restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc.
This unit is toward the back of the complex away from Gulf Blvd, and very peaceful.

The place was big, with a great view. Close to everything and in a quiet location. Walkable to many store and restaurants. Just as advertised - would recommend and will definitely come back. Check-in and checkout procedure/instructions were clear. Host was responsive. Great stay!!!

We had such a great stay. Everything was so clean and looked perfect when we arrived. The view of the Bay Area from the balcony was amazing, especially in the morning as the sun was rising. The beach access was either a 5 min walk to the left or 5 min walk to the right. They also provided chairs & an umbrella which is awesome when you fly and can’t bring those things. Darryl responded very quickly with any questions I had and the check in and check out process was a breeze. 10/10 recommend staying here!!

We absolutely love staying in this complex and especially Darryl’s condo. It’s everything we need for an extended stay. The fishing dock is convenient and the pool is hardly ever busy. The view is spectacular from the balcony and master bedroom. We are looking forward to our return trip next year. Thanks Darryl!

I booked this condo specifically because I had a great stay last year. It worked great! This time I appreciated all the amenities even more: quiet spot, great views from the balcony, long walks along the beach. Communications with the manager was outstanding: he is prompt and always eager to help. I'd highly recommend this property for a quiet and relaxing family vacation.

We were visiting our daughter for the holiday. Great location and we loved the balcony overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Also the property manager was very responsive.
We stayed here because of the 5-star rating. We found the condo to be appropriately cleaned by housekeeping. The exception was the outdated decor which does not allow a deep clean, including the clutter and artificial plants, especially in the kitchen and master bedroom.

The condo was beautiful and spacious. We brought our 2 adult sons with us and there was plenty of room for them. Our other son and his family were in another unit just a couple doors down so it made it so easy to get together with them. We had a problem with the air conditioner and It was fixed within a couple hours. We felt so welcome by Daryle and Isabelle. I would definitely recommend this place!! It was so clean and so nicely decorated. Loved it !

Wonderful condo on Gulf Blvd. clean and fully equipped with everything you would need. Great restaurants and bars up and down Gulf Blvd. Additional benefit of having garage access worked out great. A great time.

We have been coming to Gulf Retreat for several years, I've lost count as to how many it has been , and we love it. We enjoy watching the manatee and dolphins in the intercoastal. The condo has everything needed to enjoy your home away from home.

Great Location
Excellent bay view from living room and master bedroom. Love being in Indian Shores with a top floor view of the bay. Love seeing the bird life, dolphins and boats going by! A great dock at the condo too! The pool is nice but right on the busy street (other places we stayed the pools were on the bay side so a little more relaxing). The condo has everything you could need and plenty of space for a family of five and a food mart next door. Most essentials were provided and parking was a breeze, two spots. The communication was excellent. Thank you Darryl!

Wonderful retreat
It was a wonderful stay for a New England snowbird looking for some warmth in December. The view from balcony is worth the price of admission alone. Wake up to watch the wildlife in the intercostal, relax in the evening by watching the distant lights of IRB. The location is great, everything is within driving distance. Given an opportunity, we'll definitely look to stay at this property in the future.

Another great stay at this property! It’s is our 3rd visit and won’t be our last. Breathtaking views of the intercostal and TONS of wildlife. Everything in the condo is just as advertised if not even better! Darryl and Isabel are so easy to communicate with and make our stay special each time. Can’t wait to be back already.

This rental was amazing !! The views were great. The rental was very clean and well kept. It was with in driving distance to all the attractions that we we’re interested in and just a short walk to the beach. My son enjoyed fishing off the dock and we enjoyed the pool as well.

Quiet, Clean, and Great View
My wife and I booked this unit for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. Plenty of room for the two of us and an easy walk to the beach. The balcony has a ceiling fan on it, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view even when it was hot. The building the unit is in is back away from the road so it is quiet and pleasant when enjoying the view.
The unit was also nice and clean. Having the garage was a nice addition. Plenty of beach toys, chairs, and two umbrellas were provided. We don’t have our own beach stuff, so that was really nice to have. We definitely will be back here if we find ourselves in Indian shores again.
