The cabin was beautiful, with a great location, interior, and lovely wood fire [great heating, fun, and romantic]. We adored how the birds came up to the veranda whilst we were on it reading - a truly special moment we'll always remember.

The bathroom didn't have any curtains, just some lightly frosted glass, which means you can see through it at all times of day from outside (where people drive by). The kitchen was missing essentials for cooking (oil, basic spices [salt and pepper provided]) but had enough pots and pans.

We were disappointed the Cabin was small, bathroom was tiny. We didn’t need it but the second bedroom is basically a cupboard with bunk beds.

Our family of four stayed at Mystery Bay cottages for four nights over Easter and we absolutely loved it. The cottage was cozy and spotless, and the kitchenette was well stocked. The setting of the cottage was to die for. We'd sit on the deck every morning for breakfast and take in the breathtaking views. A bottle of birdseed was kept in the cottage and feeding the lorikeets was one of the highlights of our stay. I should particularly mention how helpful Mel and Tim were on Easter Sunday when our car wouldn't start. Tim came over with jumper cables and we were back on the road in no time. Really appreciated the hospitality throughout. We had a very relaxing and lovely stay. A small very private beach is just five minutes walk from the cottages and we got to see wallabies on the way. Would definitely recommend Mystery Bay cottages any time, particularly for families with young kids like us.

No negatives really - An additional fan in the second bedroom would have been ideal
