The host is extremely friendly and welcoming! I happened to gave my birthday there and she found a cake and gave a small present, very thoughtful!:) The location is perfect, it's close to dive shops, beautiful Kabira Bay and a short bus ride from amazing snorkeling in Yonehara.

WiFi is not great, at least in our room. But honestly that is a very small minus

Great location in Kabira bay. Small hotel with an intimate feel. Nice clean and big (by Japanese standards) bedrooms.

Bathroom a bit small (older toilet compared to other hotels I stayed in). Have to make a reservation for breakfast the day before.

Simple, but comfortable Tatami-room with Futon-bedding. Very clean. The host, Yamamoto-san was very welcoming and helpful. She shared a lot of useful information and prepared wonderful breakfasts, both Japanese and Western style. We had a lovely time in this hotel.

You need to be fairly slim to be able to use the bathroom.

The staff is super friendly and super helpful :) They upgraded us to a bigger room because we had a baby, and the room was quite comfy. Coffee is free all day! The breakfast is good! They can cook basic stuff on request. There is a lovely roof terrace from which you can see the stars, and all the Milky Way, while having a drink and relaxing.

The wifi is absolutely unreliable and apparently also mobile coverage in that area is non-existent. We were basically offline and unreachable most of the time. Washer and dryer are with a fee, which didn't help in such hot and damp weather.

Everything was good, but it could be nice to have a desk and chair in the Western-style rooms.
