The house was beautiful with everything you could want. The waterslide was endless fun. The kitchen was well equipped with a lot of refrigerator space. The house was very clean when we arrived and the property manager was very responsive when we had a minor issue.

Had the whole family there. Had a lot of fun. Did have issues with refrigerator. The one in kitchen was not working. Was a pain to use the ones in garage. Caretaker said they had been having problems and did put new one in midweek. That was the only disappointment as I think for that much money it should have already been done. Other than that, place was perfect for our group.

Overall it was a great experience. We did have a problem with ants in the pantry. The caretaker had to spray the day we got there but we had to call him again the next day. He was on top of it immediately and had an exterminator out several hours later.

Celebration of Schmidt
As my son’s best man, I hosted a post-wedding celebration. I was looking for a large, multi bedroom, many bathroom beautiful home to impress. Serenity Cove was the perfect fit. Three master suites with an additional four bedrooms served our guests masterfully. Two separate game rooms provided entertainment amenities for our group. The lakefront location was beautiful and secluded. I would highly recommend this property for friends, families or anyone desiring to host special groups.

Good & Bad
We have booked this house for friends reunion. The house is good and spacious.
Well furnished and equipped.
But, I was NOT happy at all at the booking. Saw this house and all friends agreed on this place and 3 nights for a rate decent rate. but as we want only 2 days since some of us fly back on Sunday morning. And as I am also in vacation rental business, I know a bit more, so my friends wanted to check with the owner if he can change the minimum date from 3 night to 2 night. I asked him,
He changed the to minimum 2 nights, BUT HE ALSO CHANGED THE NIGHT PRICE too. ( that is bad business practice)
So now 2 nights cost as much as the original 3 nights .
I am soooo pissed off however I could not argue with the owner as this is not only me on this trip but whole group of friends .
So I nicely asked him to change back to original 3 nights and original price amount.
I even told him on this HomeAwy/ VRBO app inbox message that the original price for 3 nights is …. dollar for that specific dates.
He did change the date BUT the total price went up a lot more…. What he did is horribly wrong when it comes to business. He should not do that.
He can change whatever price he want before any guests send inquiry or booking request. BUT once after the guests sends an inquiry/request, he should NOT change the price at all.
We stayed only 2 nights regardless we booked 3 nights. And left the house as good as we received.
Anyway, I am a host as well, I don’t want a negative review to other fellow hosts, so I texted to him about this before I write this review. However, he denied and acted as if he does not know, that pushed me to leave the review here. Hope this won’t happen other future guests.

The Lake House with a cool slide
We rented this house for 6 families and just that alone tells you that this was a spacious house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids enjoyed having their own play room, not to mention the cool slide at the dock that we had the chance to try out on the last day of our stay. The communication with the property manager was great and he was very accommodating to some of our requests. The views were beautiful and overall we had a good time.

Perfect Getaway
We've stayed at several different properties at Lake Anna over the years, each a little larger as our family has grown. Serenity Grove was spectacular in every way - our entire family kept saying how beautiful the house itself was, how great the kitchen set-up was, the sleeping arrangements working out with no issues, and the proximity to the lake - our two youngest nieces were in the lake morning until night! We highly recommend this property to others seeking a home big enough for larger families.

The view is breathtaking. Enjoyed our stay and the dock. My husband really enjoyed being able to get up and go out on his boat. Wish there had been TVs in all the rooms our individuals got a little bored but overall enjoyed it. Will definitely book in the future.

Perfect space for our dads 70th
We reserved this space for a surprise birthday weekend. The owner’s advertisement undersold and over delivered on EVERYTHING! So much was perfect, the rooms, bathrooms, and living spaces were spacious. The lake, slide, and lounge area is where my family spent the majority of their time. Greg, the property manager was so nice and showed us everything we needed for that weekend. We will definitely be back!

Loved the slide and paddle boards!
Our group of 4 families had a fantastic time at Serenity Cove. The kids and adults enjoyed the slide, stand-up paddle boards, and canoes - everyone was entertained as we spent the majority of each day in the water! We also enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The house was well stocked and perfectly suited for a multi-family vacation. We'll definitely be back!

Great house
Stayed for a week with my family and in laws. Plenty of room for everyone. The lake was so warm and the kids went swimming all day! The weather held off for us for the most part. We rented a boat and had a tube and had such a great time. Very remote. So make sure you plan on cooking meals. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed as far as utensils and spices. Amy and a Jeff were very responsive. The kids loved all the playroom games!

Great Vacation
This was by far the best family vacation our family ever had. Amy and Jeff communicated with us very well, and Greg fixed the very few little problems we had . This place is spectacular,and the kitchen is out of this world. We rented a boat thru their associate, and I highly recommend this. Everybody ended up tubing every day, and also we fished and went swimming daily. You can't go wrong renting this house, and I highly recommend it

Wonderful property
Our family loved our stay here! The house had plenty of room and chairs in the common areas for everyone to hang around and socialize, a large table on the balcony for family dinners, wonderful views of the lake, the water was SO WARM and everyone loved the water slide. Overall a great property!
