I just wished the windows has screens, to allow a little more cool in, without having to worry about the insects. But that is my only criticism.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, just what we needed for a relaxing break to our journey. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant. The location extremely peaceful and calm and perfect for our little dog who was made very welcome. We will definitely stay at this gite again.

There was nothing we did not like about this accommodation or our stay.

Staircase to the mezzanine was quite awkward to use.

It is amazing what you can fit into a small space. I liked the fact that the outside had not been totally modernized. It looked what it was and what it had been used for. It was an old shed. But the inside was modernized to a very high standard and had everything you could possibly want. The hosts were lovely people and the breakfast was more than we could manage.

I don't want to say that I did not like the stairs up to the mezzanine floor but at 77 and 85 it was a bit advanturous. However, for younger people it should not be a problem.

although I’d seen the staircase in previous reviews I didn’t appreciate just how dangerous it was. the fact that the toilet is downstairs means you risk life and limb if you need the toilet overnight. I considered sleeping downstairs on the couch but sadly it’s only a tiny two seater so it was not possible. The other negative is that the kitchenette is tucked away underneath the staircase. this led to many bangs to the head and bruised shoulders.

The place is beautiful. Great location. Nice and cosy. Just enough for two. But most of all quiet. The owners were lovely.

Did not dislike anything. Loved it all. However I would say that if any of your party are unstable on their feet or suffer with vertigo. Be mindful as the stairs to the bedroom are not for the faint hearted.

We stayed here twice during our travels in France. Location was perfect for us and the walks with the dog along the country lanes from the front door were a a bonus we hadn't expected. Hosts were very pleasant and discrete. We are likely to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended

Property was lovely, small but perfectly adequate for a stop over enroute. Very clean with a private garden area.

The stairs up to the bedroom were tiny and in my opinion very dangerous, not suitable for elderly or disabled people.

We were delayed badly and arrived very late but owners were very helpful and accommodating to help us out. Small but ideal for a couple, ok for a young family of four for a night stopover.

More of a misunderstanding than anything - you will need to book breakfast as extra or there is a shop and nice bakery in Spay.

We didn’t realise the kitchen and lounge would be smaller than the bathroom. You had to keep watching your head as the spiral staircase was sticking into the kitchen. The sofa in the lounge was dreadfully uncomfortable and the stairs shouldn’t have passed a safety check. The mattress needs changing and really hurt my back. Shame the idea is ok but dangerous stairs

The quaintness of the building. The thoughtfulness of the planning in a limited space.The bathroom is lovely with plenty of good towels . Breakfast was fresh and delicious.The extra treats were very thoughtful.

Pretty little cottage. Comfortable bed. Great for pet owners. Our dogs loved it. Also we had a full car, felt secure. Was very rural. Would stay again, when driving through France.

Stairs are difficult to climb, place is not for the elderly. No breakfast available.

Lovely little house in the middle of the countryside, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast in the morning!

The owners were lovely . The property is small and compact , but has everything you need. The bathroom was lovely, instant hot water. It is made clear that the bedroom is on a mezzanine floor, with a circular staircase to it. As had been said in previous reviews it is not for the faint hearted ! The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was delightful. We only stayed one night as we were travelling back to the UK. The property is close enough to the motorway to make it accessible but far enough away that it is in the countryside and very quiet . We travelled with bikes and needed to be away from civilisation so they were secure, this fitted the bill!

Beautifully renovated, this little cottage is ideal for a couple. Great bathroom. The hosts give lots of little extras and the breakfast is excellent. The staircase to the bedroom is not for the fainthearted though. Ideal location if you have a dog.
