The house was extremely comfortable, with big rooms, kitchen, light and everything you need to cook. Soft wall colors and original old fashioned furniture made the stay very pleasant.

The only drawback of the house and the village is that they are both very hot day and night, because there is no air circle whatsoever. There are several newly built (or made bigger recently) houses that are too near the GrandPa Mate house and these stop the air from circulating.

The house was beautiful, with a cosy rustic decor. It was really well equiped with everything we could need, from appliences, watter, condiments, tea etc. We especially appreciated the coffee❤️. We loved the quiet village where we could hear the birds, crickets and bees,far from a noisy city or traffic. The yard was full of fragrant flowers that perfumed even our rooms. We are thankfull for the posibility of late check-in and appreciate that someone came to guide us to the house.

The access is a bit difficult, with a narrow road surrounded by shrubs.

Solitude and gorgeous views

The host was absolutely exceptional. Even not being there in person, she was always very supportive and responsive. She provided us with a lot of restaurant options and different suggestions of what to do and see around the island. The house was very spacious, clean and had all the appliances required to make your stay even more enjoyable. This place is ideal for a small group of friends, two couples with small children or simply for a couple. The location is okay in relation to the nearest beaches, maximum ten minutes by car. Dugi Otok is a very nice place for unplugging from the busy routines of everyday life.

The house has a fantastic outdoors barbecue site where you can cook all you want but the neighborhood is filled with stray cats that make the barbecue cooking and eating outside very difficult.

It was in a lovely quiet location

No real chill out space inside ie only a kitchen and no personal outside space. Outside space was in a communal outside courtyard and noisy. There was also no halfway clean after one week.

Rooms were spacious and well furnished, the host was super kind and helpful. She offered us some wine and advised on where to eat or where to look for our next accommodation.

There are a lot of cats in the neighborhood, so if you're allergic beware as they'll come to the front door.

Superb. Big house, two bedrooms (albeit we needed only one), kitchen has any imaginable appliance, peaceful neighbourhood.

There was nothing to dislike.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The houses are very nice and comfortable. I can only recommend it to other people :)
