Rita was a fantastic host, she was very responsive and accommodating, answering questions we had very quickly. A small drive to lakes entrance town centre at a great price. Also very close to lake Tyers beach.

The place was a little small for 6 adults. However great if you're a large family.

Very nice accommodation and SUPER COSY! It gave us a true feeling of being at home, with all the luxuries needed during our holiday/ work travel at the moment. Friendly neighbours next door were lovely helping us with our check in. The quite location, opposite the golf course, was an added bonus for a restful sleep and hearing the ocean in the distance was magical for us. Rita the ' super host ' was incredibly helpful and has loads of local knowledge on things to do, places to see and eat. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! it is located away from busy area. It is quite, and close to a petrol station.

DO NOT DELETE because I saw one review by an Australian visitor, who rated 1, was hidden. I wish I could have seen that review when I booked! Pretty old house. A lot of not-to-do rules and display-only stuffs, not relaxing and stressful, particularly when you have kids or teenagers. Many small rugs are loosely covered to avoid damaging the floors, but it is slippery and not safe for kids. Property owner refused to pay back our $750.00 bond because we were said to take away items which we absolutely did not. We were said to damage her blinds, actually it is normal crinkles due to flimsy blind quality. We were said to use doona but it was freezing mid night and so we took the doona from a cupboard where no not-for-guest-use sign. Our unpaid back bond well exceeded our accommodation fee. We are in our fifties and have used Booking for over ten years and met so many property owners in the world with happy results. We used some properties more than once. It is first time in our life to have a property owner not pay our bond back no matter through Booking or other booking platforms. ADDED on 10th and 12th May 2022 after reading property owner's replies twice : We did NOT take any items, we did NOT damage anything, and we did NOT get our bond back. My suggestion re this property : do not pay bond to its property owner. In latest 36 months of its service history ( review can appear longest 36 months based on Booking ) this property received 13 reviews only, and we now noticed that most other properties in Lakes Entrance have received hundreds of reviews, some even over a thousand. In comparison, so few visitors felt interested in leaving their reviews for this property. Looking back it was a big mistake of ours to have overlooked this.

The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything you might need. Rita was most helpful in giving us tips what to do in the area. We had a really nice stay and would be happy to be back in the future.
