Super cute property with lots of space. Very clean and centrally located near shops and restaurants.

The loft apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants, shopping, markets; accessing I&M trail; and driving a few miles to Starved Rock, Matthieson, and Buffalo Rock State Parks.

Enjoyed having LOTS of space for relaxing mornings and evenings while exploring the nearby parks and other attractions. Arrived to find old food in fridge, dirty dishes in dishwasher, and bed sheets felt they were not cleaned from prior stay. Easily resolved all 3 and did not impact our stay.

Great place to stay. Close to several great State parks. Loft was beautifully furnished. Two separate masters was a bonus. We would definitely recommend you stay .

There is some road noise, but this apartment is walking distance from a bunch of great restaurants and a very comfortable base for exploring the area.

The property was decorated beautifully and we loved the balcony. We were right around corner from restaurants, shopping and bars. We felt safe and the place was immaculate.

This is a beautiful, modern, clean space with all the amenities and supplies we could need. Lots of room to spread out, with two very large ensuite bedrooms on opposite sides, with a large living and dining area. Only complaint is that the wifi is quite spotty.

Nice layout for a group of old friends getting together. Could spread out and get social time or time alone if you wanted it. Love the town and the ability to walk to anything. Great hiking at Matthiessen. Only negative was one of the showers ran soooooo hot it was unusable. Called rep to see if they could fix but never heard back.

This is a spacious, comfortable loft. There was lots of room for everyone to spread out. The restaurants within walking distance that we tried were excellent.

We were planning a trip to the area to check out starved rock and Matthiessen, as well as the Lasalle peru area. I was trying to decide between the cabins in or near Starved Rock, where the only restaurant is the Starved Rock lodge, versus this downtown area where we'd have to drive to the parks but have more options to eat. For our family this was better. If you are planning on bringing food and cooking, and spending the bulk of your time hiking then this still would be great it is just a short drive from the parks. I'd definitely stay here again. The apartment is really large, with one bedroom at each end so our kids could go to sleep early in one bedroom, while we were still up. I love that it was decorated with things from the store downstairs, what a cool idea, and very nice decor. Nicely stocked with dishes, towels, bedding. Great location to walk to area restaurants. 2 winners were Uptown Grill and Obees sandwiches. Was surprised however that many restaurants are closed on Sunday.(obviously that has nothing to do with the property though!) We had a couple quick questions at check-in about parking and wifi. The owners were quick to respond and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out process. Overall we were very pleased.

My whole family loved the place. It was spacious and nicely furnished. Good internet connection. All stores very close and a 12 min drive to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park.

This stay was amazing-we will all stay again. It was beautifully decorated and right in the heat of dining options and bars. I've lived in the area for years and glad to be able to come back and have my family enjoy such a fantastic stay in a building that has been there for many years. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

This property is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-located. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the wifi was truly terrible, which is a bit of a problem in today's day and age. But would definitely stay here again as long as I didn't have to do any Zoom meetings.

The unit was very modern and spacious for a family of four. It is a short drive to Starved Rock. But you can walk to the I&M Canal pathway. Phyllis was very courteous and helpful. We actually left our Firestick behind by mistake and she was so kind to mail it back to us free of charge. It was very cc thoughtful.

This is a beautiful 2 bedroom suite apartment. With a nice balcony where 4 people can sit comfortably. Close to the state parks too. It's in walking distance to several restaurants. The only downside is the city needs alot of love. Several rough looking buildings around. However, the four of us felt safe, and there was absolutely no problems.

This loft is beautiful! Made us feel like we were pampered and living in luxury! The ceilings are so high that you feel small inside! Very clean and Phyllis was very easy to get ahold of and checking went like a breeze!

Property is every nice and clean. But listing should include information that it is second floor walk up. Also, owner did not explain how to use TV, remote control fan or showers, which is NOT intuitive. WiFi is really bad and did not work well in either unit (neighbor across hall), which is a problem with 2 young adults. If you don’t need Wifi, then unit is fine.

My family of four stayed at this property for two weeks. The place is spacious and comfortable. It's also beautifully and tastefully decorated. The owners were responsive to our requests and needs, and because we were there over Easter, they left a wonderful Easter basket for our girls which was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. Thank you for the kind hospitality.

Beautiful, clean, updated, super spacious loft right in downtown LaSalle. It was a perfect spot for us and another couple to visit the area for Eagle Watch Weekend. Phyllis welcomed us when we arrived, showed us around the loft, and let us see the other property across the hall. It was equally amazing! We walked across the street for breakfast both mornings and down the street to dinner. Easy 10 minute drive to Starved Rock State Park. We’ve rented through VRBO before and this property had some extra touches we’ve never encountered before. Large size bath products, Kurig coffee pods, paper plates/napkins for quick snacks, a dining table already set for a meal. Fireplace was super cozy. We look forward to renting again with Thomas & Phyllis. 😀�

This is the second time we have stayed here. Exceptional in every way.

This is always our go to place to stay when lifelong friends, all of us from this town, get together for reunions. The place is so lovely, and offers close proximity to great shops and restaurants. I can't wait for the next visit!

The whole process went very well. The property manager was flexible and accommodating, and the property was very clean and ready for our arrival. We appreciated the comforts of the property after hiking each day at Starved Rock State Park & Matthiessen State Park. Our overall experience was what we expected with the rental.

Second year in s row for our girls trip. Had fun scouting out the cute towns in the area. Very cozy accommodations with the comforts of home.

Have to climb up 25 stairs (a daily challenge for my 91 yo mom) and effort rewarded with a spacious, well-appointed loft.

Great accommodations, great restaurants, great hiking! I realize that television shouldn’t be a staple on vacation, but after a long day of hiking, we really just wanted to stay in our beautiful loft and watch a movie. It would be great if there were more a movie channel or a streaming device.
