excellent experience tons of wildlife outside of property could use a good clean up

The wildlife watching was fantastic. Animals from the deck - we didn't have to travel to see multiple deer and moose. That cabin itself could use a bit of updating. The carpet and mattresses appear to be original to the cabin, and could certainly use a re-fresh. But the peace and solitude were worth it!

Very nice cabin on a beautiful lot. The temperature was typically 10 deg cooler than along the Wasatch Front. The family had a good time and enjoyed by all. A deer and moose visited us nearly every day. Only downside, all the kids left early and it took us 4 hours to clean the cabin.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is very nice. There were 7 adults and 6 children. We had plenty of room. Saw deer everyday. We are looking forward too doing it again.

We loved this property! Had everything we needed and more. The kids especially loved the ping pong and pool table. Lots of wildlife (two moose, beaver, squirrels, and ducks) and many fun memories made this weekend with family. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We’ll definitely be back!

I like the property. Cozy cabin yet large enough to accommodate our party of 7 adults and 6 kids comfortably. This is out second time staying there.

We came back for a 2nd time to stay the second half of our Christmas Break. We again had a blast playing games and sledding. We loved 3 floors to spread out, but also to have places to gather. Grateful for a well stocked kitchen with every pot and plate we needed. Hosts were easy to communicate with and everything was clean. A great place to “get away” from Salt Lake. Thanks again. We will be back!

Beautiful property, near multiple recreation areas. Our family had a great time celebrating our grandson’s birthday hiking, fishing and enjoyed water activities at Deer Creek Reservoir. The kids loved watching the wildlife near and around the cabin.

This is a very beautiful cabin that is located in a great location up in the mountains by Heber city, UT. It was great to get a way to cooler weather. There were very comfortable beds and it is very clean and organized. We had 15 people and everyone had plenty of room and it was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our family had a great week at the cabin. It was perfect for our family. Our children want to know when we are coming back again.

Had a great little getaway. Cabin was a perfect place for us to recharge and reconnect as a family. Location made it so we could easily get back in the groove of life and a restful and relaxing weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin had the perfect number of rooms and beds and was very clean. We enjoyed the time with our family and it was perfect for what we needed! It made staying through the 4th of July holiday very memorable. We will definitely keep this in mind for future vacations!

Cabin was wonderful, but we had to clean up and make up beds before leaving. Since we only had breakfast and slept at the cabin, it wasn't too much for us, just didn't except the cleaning since I paid $225 as a cleaning fee. I hope the owner would disclose this at first glace to his cabin.

We had a wonderful Christmas break at this cabin. Everything was just as we saw online, and even better in person. Our younger kids loved the secret loft, while the older kids played pool nonstop! We loved all the snow and fun sledding close by. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a few things we had forgotten! We enjoyed having 3 floors to spread out. The kitchen table was perfect for playing games with the lazy Susan in the middle. Plenty of space to eat and prep food. The hosts were very helpful with any questions we had. We did use wood burning stove for that cabin feel, and also enjoyed the gas fireplace upstairs too. The Christmas tree was an added bonus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It is the perfect location. Close enough to civilization, but a fun break away from town.

The cabin is fully stocked with dishes and everything you need in the kitchen. The bedrooms were as described and having a crib in each upstairs bedroom worked so well for our family. We enjoyed playing pool and sitting on the large deck. We took advantage of the barbecue one night. We would definitely stay there again!

11adults stayed in this beautiful home and shared one of the nicest Christmas's together. The home is fully equipped so cooking is easy and fun and the home is spacious and comfortable. It was decorated for the holidays and we just loved it. It was within 30 minutes of Deer Valley and 45 minutes of Park City, travel times could be longer during peak travel. The roads are plowed and the home is very pleasant with loads of amenities. I would give it a high score for a great place to stay and enjoy Utah!! Thanks for sharing this property! I would return in a heart beat.

The cabin is a beautiful place to stay. We stayed over Thanksgiving and everything was beautiful. The Christmas tree was a fun touch that we were lucky enough to enjoy. Would highly recommend the cabin for a rental!!!

As a growing family of 12 adults and two babies, we were anxious to have a place for our reunion that was both comfortable and that had all the amenities of home. This beautiful log cabin fit the bill perfectly. The kitchen was well outfitted, the bedrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of room in the family room/kitchen area to gather, as well as in the family room downstairs. We spent most of our time during the day doing activities in the area, and were grateful to come back to such a nice home to enjoy the evenings.

Tough to find and navigate the neighborhood, tooooo many rules and departure chores. Otherwise, it accomadated our short term needs well.

We really enjoyed this cabin! It was cozy and comfortable! The cabin has a lot of comfortable seating. I would love to stay in the winter and enjoy the fireplace! We loved the pool/ping pong table! There are lots of comfortable beds and it's very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! It is in a beautiful, secluded location. We had a great get away with our family. (I personally enjoyed that there wasn't any wifi and everyone had to unplug!) My only complaint (and the reason I gave it only 4 stars) is that I feel like the cleaning expectations were too high considering renters pay a $220 cleaning fee. I expect to have to strip the beds, wash the dishes, and haul away the trash. But we also had to remake all the beds, sweep and mop the floors and vacuum! Since they charge a $220 cleaning fee and have the renters do all of that, I expected the cabin to be immaculate and it wasn't. There were sticky spots on some of the cabinets and drawers. The blinds and window sills were very dusty and there were cobwebs on the wall in the dining room. When I shook out the rugs, they were full of dirt! (A lot more than we would have brought in during our 3 day stay.) These are things I would not normally complain about if the owner didn't charge such a large cleaning fee. Overall, I would stay there again but would like to see the owner reevaluate their cleaning fee or at least make sure the cabin is getting a thorough cleaning between stays.

Lets start with the many positives. This is a beautiful cabin. It has been very well taken care of and is exceptionally clean. There are lots of different hang out areas that allow several families to be together without it being loud and chaotic. With the pool table, ping pong table, a karaoke machine, and tons of board and card games, there is a lot to keep people busy. The beds are great and there are many of them. It has, hands down, the best stocked kitchen of any of the many VRBO properties I have stayed at! And top that off with owners that are great to work with. They are very organized and even allowed us to change our reservation to a different weekend to accommodate some family stuff that came up. Here's the one negative- but its kind of a big one. You are expected to clean the large majority of the cabin before you leave including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming all floors, making all 8 or 9 beds, cleaning the BBQ grill, loading up and taking all trash several miles down the road to the dumpster, emptying dishwasher, wiping down the whole kitchen (including the microwave and fridge) as well as cleaning bathroom sinks, mirrors, and counters etc. We are very clean people, but we got up at 6 (on our last day of vacation) in order to have breakfast, get everything done, and be out of there by 10:00. But here's the kicker- after all that we still paid a $220 cleaning fee. In all fairness, this wasn't a surprise. We signed a contract beforehand. We just underestimated the annoyance we would feel at having to get up at 6 to do a bunch of work that we were also paying someone else to do. As much as we loved the cabin, I don't know if we would do it again.

The area was great, cabin has everything we needed for our family reunion. Good time was had by all.

This was the second time we spent the weekend at this cabin. It was just what what we needed. We had a great time playing in the snow and then coming into warm up in this very warm and cozy cabin. Plenty of room for our family and well stock so all you need to bring is your food. I can't wait for our third trip back.

This is a beautiful cabin situated in a beautiful place. Aspens abound. Deer visits every day. The cabin itself is gorgeous. Charmingly decorated. There was plenty of room for all 16 of us.The kitchen is roomy, and well-stocked. The front deck was a really delightful place to get the family together for meals, and star-gazing. Wonderfully cool mornings and evenings. What a lovely place to run away to! We would definitely go back!

We were so excited being able to stay at this beautiful cabin with our family. The Warrens were wonderful to work with and always responded to my questions quickly. The cabin is more than just a cabin. It is beautifully decorated and makes you feel like a celebrity with all of the extras. Our teenage grandchildren loved all of the fun things to do. There was plenty of room to eat and play games for all 15 of us. My family thinks that we need to make this destination a yearly adventure and I am hoping that we can do that.
