We loved our stay here. The beach was so easy to access and the view was absolutely beautiful!

Had a bit of a glitch when we checked in, but it was taken care of promptly. Place was very accommodating for our family with young children. So be aware there is no plastic wrap or foil in the unit. We are cookers, so we use each wherever we are staying. Beach view was wonderful as was the beach.

Overall good week. We brought kcups for coffee, there was a drip coffee maker. I called the number provided and left a message. Never heard from anyone. Needed a complete set of pots and pans. Only small and large pot. Laundry room light was out. Had to use my computer to get cable. These are just basic things that I think could be upgraded with very little money.

Saw lots of turtles, which was neat! Glad we had ability to rent chairs/umbrella for the beach. Appreciated the beach chairs provided by the property, loved they had lots of blankets and pillows. Living room was decent sized and could fit our family of 4 (2 grown late teen boys). Kitchen was decently stocked. Washing machine is small, but fine for washing towels bathing suits as you throughout the week. Pleasant stay! Thank you!

We enjoy the convenient location of the property. Easy access to beach. Quiet location and great place to unwind after the days events. Property was clean and comfortable. Brain was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay there again.

The pictures on site seemed like the decor updated but not updated. Old decor ,odor of smokers in the past. We got used to everything quickly but unit needs updating and more supplies. Carpets stained, bedding old, toilets stick, window treatments dated. The location helps to ignore any issues . We have stayed at sailmaker 3 times prior and love the area. Unit clean.

Great location and beautiful view of the beach! Very clean and everything was there that we needed. Really dog-friendly area, which was great for us. The only draw-back was that we were expecting to be able to enter from the ground floor, but our unit didn't have a ground floor. This was really a challenge for our small beagle who was unable to get up the stairs and had to be carried each time. My husband has knee issues, so it was a challenge for him as well. Though I should have asked, it would be nice if those type details were included in the description of each unit. Overall, though, we had a really good experience. Thank you!

Although we haved loved visiting Amelia Island for 13 years and staying at Sailmaker for 10 of those years this condo was somewhat of a disappointment. We had to do some intial cleaning when we arrived and the living area and beds were very uncomfortable. This was very unexpected, especially with the elevated cost of the unit.

Everything went as planned. Nice place. It was a really good feature that the main room furniture had covers. We are always worried about the dogs messing up the furniture.
Unless the A/C is improved I would not want to stay here during a hot summer. It was cool weather during our stay. Even with the cool weather it was warmer than I would like at night.

Perfect for a weekend get together with our Florida friends. Exactly 4 hours to get there for both of us couples. Beautiful wide beach -perfect for playing bocce ball. Would definitely go back and stay again.

The most walkable beach we've ever been on. Some restaurants are nearby if you don't want to drive back into town. Food is wonderful on the Island!
I heard people playing pickleball every day not far away. When I called to try and set up a time to play, I was told I had to be a member of some Club. So that was disappointing. Yes you can plan outside of Fernandina Beach at Central Park, but it would have been very convenient to just walk next door. That was our only complaint. Otherwise, really liked this place and hope to return!

Unit was nicely set up with comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen. Second story unit afforded an excellent view of ocean although that necessitated quite a few steps to the entrance and the top floor bedrooms. Unfortunately we hit a very cold spell so didn’t fully utilize the excellent very clean beach

Great unit. Beautiful location. We have stayed there many times. Extended family had units and having a big lawn was a bonus. Soccer nets were set up first night and the kids formed new friendships! Only problem was the bathroom drains were sluggish. Love Summer Beach.

Good property but an older development and condo. Has been updated since Oct. 2020. A few minor problems developed but the management was quick to respond. Ocean front with easy access to the beach. Open in the back with a large grassy area for play if desired. Definitely would rent this property again. This was our second rental of this property.

Not quite perfect
Generally everything was really nice and as described however a few improvements would move it to the top. First of all there is an alarm that went off every 6 hours. 11 pm and 5 am and on. Never could find the cause…it wasn’t the stove as I cut the breaker with no result. Also a couple of kitchen items are also needed such as a cutting board. Overall good location and getting in and out were effortless. Would stay again assuming the alarm is fixed.
