Es ist ein (4) Schlafzimmer (3. 5) Bad auf 3 Etagen mit 3 Schlafzimmern, King-Bett, Queen-Size-Bett und King-Size-Betten mit einer Familie Koje Zimmer mit maßgeschneiderten Doppel-Etagenbetten ausgestattet. We had a wonderful stay in this very beautiful house. It was a bit smoky from fires, but when the smoke cleared, the view was incredible. We loved heading down into Golden, and driving to Banff for hiking. I also fished for a couple days with a local fly fishing fishing guide With a company name of the Golden Gillie. Sure to book him far for a shot at some huge bull trout. We spent time in the hot tub, and we especially love the fact that the kitchen was stocked with a lot of essentials already. What a wonderful house!!!

Perfect for our family group of 8 + a 1yr old! We enjoyed the patio, large kitchen, dining and living areas. The bedrooms were comfortable. We bought a couple of extra fans for the bedrooms as Canada was having a heat wave at the time. We went to the resort coffee shop and grocery store, loved the Via Ferrata experience and ate at the Eagle’s Eye restaurant at the top of the mountain. 2 members of our group went to see Boo. Outside the resort area we went to the Golden Golf club for mini golf, hiked Wapta falls, Johnston Canyon, and the Plain of Six Glaciers at Lake Louise. Some of our group did a white water rafting trip. Super vacation for us!

The condo was immaculate with a well stocked kitchen. The views of the mountains are spectacular and we so enjoyed sitting on the deck at night watching the meteor showers. This property is well suited for families or groups, with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s a beautiful location up at Kicking Horse Resort.

This property is perfect for both downhill and cross country skiers, as both activities can be accessed literally from the front door. The "mudroom garage" was the perfect place to store all our equipment and the hot tub was perfect for apres ski. The property was extremely clean, well stocked and as advertised. The host was extremely responsive. The beds were super and to top it all off were those killer mountain views! Thank for a great stay!

This is such a beautiful property. Our group had plenty of space to spend time together, a fully stocked kitchen, and a huge table to play cards or talk about the day. The sunrise on the deck during breakfast is amazing and one that I will never forget.
We had a couple questions during our time there, and they got back to us immediately. It’s a quick 15 minute drive to the town which has some cute stores and restaurants, and there is plenty to do at the resort village itself during the day.
If you’re thinking about visiting this property, do it! You’ll love every minute.

The perfect house for the ultimate Canadian Rockies experience
We absolutely loved staying here. It was perfect for what our group was looking for. The house is modern and new, with beautiful, breathtaking views overlooking the mountains. Every morning felt like we were waking up in a fairytale. The house is clean and wonderfully furnished. The town of Golden was also a pleasant surprise. Yes, it's an hour or so outside of Lake Louise/Banff, but it's also a nice, reasonable alternative for people who don't want to pay more than double just to be closer. Golden has great restaurant options, as well as a thriving young 20s/30s scene. Driving on the Trans-Canada Highway from Golden to Banff was a breeze, even with all the road construction going on. The hosts for the house, Kimberly and Steven, also couldn't have been any nicer. They were always quick to respond with any questions we had before and during our stay. The only downside to the house would be limited phone and internet access due to being so high up in the mountain. But to be perfectly honest... we were on vacation and it was nice to just disconnect. When I make my way back to the Canadian Rockies, I look forward to hopefully staying here again. It felt like a special home away from home.

We loved our stay here. It was a winter wonderland for our mini vacation. House is amazing, great mountains views, super clean, cozy, well decorated, and had everything and even extra that we needed. Was perfect for us!
Only thing that I'd like to add that the house have a hiding cost for the damage insurance, that haven't shown in the house listing. So you will see the additional charge on your credit card after you pay for the total advertised price for the rent. It's not big deal but I prefer to see in advance how much I would be charged.
Any way the house was perfect! Would highly recommend this property. Will definitely stay there again!

Highly Recommended
We were fortunate enough to head to this property and mountain for opening day 2021/2022 and had a great stay (the waist high powder didn’t hurt either). The place was spotless and had more than enough amenities-we were especially grateful for the boot warmers and the hot tub. The ski-in/ski-out is just 30 metres from the property which made for a very unique experience. We enjoyed the place very much and would highly recommend!

BEST Vacation Rental Ever!
We have rented vacation homes around the world and several at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, this one was the best place we have ever stayed at.
The house was spotless and beautiful and very well supplied, the kitchen was well supplied and had everything you might ever need.
The views were magnificent and the ease of ski-in /ski-out is unparalleled on the hill - in the morning you simply walk across the road (Thompson Crescent) and ski down a ski out to the gondola - at the end of the day you ski back to the driveway!
Our teenagers enjoyed the bunkroom and its x-box with many games.
The private hot tub is located in a spot where you can sit and enjoy incredible views while you soak your sore muscles at the end of a day.
Steven was very easy to deal with and check in was simple and easy..
We ski Kicking Horse ever year and will definitely be renting this property again in the future.

Thanks so much to Kim and Steve for sharing this great property with us. Had a great time in this well equipped house. Family friendly ski in with about a 80 m walk to ski out which is very easy. Garage set up for skiing is excellent.

Nice Property
We had a great stay at Kickinghorse. They property was exactly as listed and met the needs of our group. The kitchen is very well equipped with good quality equipment and there is a really nice barbecue on the deck. The garage/equipment room was great for storing our mountain bikes and riding gear and was exatclty what we needed for this trip.

Kicking Horse stay at 1621
First of all your place is good and we liked the house but I want to inform you about few things which need to take care: 1. Not enough soap was available in the washrooms. 2 Beds sheets were not cleaned having hairs and marks 3. Towels were not cleaned. 4. Not a single box of Kleenex was available in the house. 5. Hot tub should be on the Deck like other houses for privacy. 6. Bathroom and Master bedroom locks were not working.
Other than that kitchen are and living room is spacious and location is excellent.

Fantastic property and location
I'm not generally one to write reviews but everything about this property is incredible. The location is stunning and provides the perfect base to explore many of the near by national parks. The house was modern, clean, very tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen, which is a rarity in holiday rental properties. We easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 children and had room to spare. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others and the owners, Steve and Kimberly were very helpful and provided us with a lot of useful information in the run up to our stay. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Awesome!
Great place for our group of 10 hiking in Banff for a few days. Plenty of beds and a well stocked kitchen. The hot tub was refreshing after long days of hiking and had great views of the mountains. The balcony and grill were also great gathering spots for the group to either eat meals or just hang put with more great views. The whole townhome had a nice outdoor feel with all the unique decor. The nearby town of Golden was a neat little place too with several good restaurants and at least one brewery with outdoor seating and games.

Great Family Getaway
We were travelling with our family (2 kids) along with my sister-in-law and her family from Ireland (4 adults and 6 children)
The house here is absolutely beautiful! It was spacious enough for the 10 of us, and the kids absolutely loved the bunk room (I don't think we saw them other than meal times and smores on the balcony!)
The kitchen is spacious with plenty of dishes, pots etc for large family cooking and everything was very clean!
The house itself was used as a mid-point for travelling to Lake Louise, Banff. It was an hour-1.5 driving time to Banff with plenty of wildlife, beautiful lakes along the way.
Steven was great at getting back to us (the internet was a little rocky, but we did have some pretty bad weather once we reached the house, so it was intermittent for periods being we were up in mountains).
A great place to look at rainbows and thunder all around.

Great Mountain Experience!
This property is amazing! The owners payed a lot of attention to detail. The décor and comfort were superb. Everything is high quality including the beautiful beds and soft linens. The Kitchen has fine appliances and everything you need for a meal or just a great cup of coffee or espresso! Our family of seven felt very comfortable and appreciated the level of quality of this rental. It is so nice of the owners to share their vacation home.
While visiting Banff area we split our trip between Canmore and Kicking Horse. Both areas are equally accessible to hiking in Banff area. Canmore is more of a tourist town and Kicking Horse is quieter and has a more "mountain" feel. We enjoyed meeting the locals in the town of Golden (grocery store, restaurants, etc.). We loved eating at Eleven 22, amazing food. Kicking Horse resort has activities during the summer such as mountain biking and taking the gondola up to the top for hiking if you want to stay local.

Wonderful home at a great mountain destination!
Thanks so much again for letting us stay in your home! It was a perfect spot for our group of friends to ski/ride Kicking Horse and nearby mountains. The house had a great layout for cooking, hot tubbing, and hanging out after a day on the mountain. The rooms are all thoughtfully decorated, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. We especially liked access to the gas grill on the balcony.

We had an awesome time in this VRBO it had everything we could have needed and extras that make your stay feel like home. 2 fridges, boot dryer, hot tub, kitchen had everything you could need for cooking with a big group and lots of space for everyone to sleep.The garage is great for all your ski gear when you come off the hill which you can ski right from the hill into the driveway. Great views and a great place with lots of snow on the hill made for a perfect ski trip! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay in this gorgeous, spacious home in a tranquil environment!
Our stay in this modern, new, bright, large and well appointed home was fantastic! There were 2 families traveling together, a total of 4 adults and 5 children ages 3-6. The lay-out of the home, as well as the bunk room worked out well for the group. We enjoyed relaxing in the stylish, modern upper floor and spent lots of time in the living room and kitchen area, and the appliances are new, quality and plentiful, a sometimes rare find in a vacation rental! It was nice that the sleeping quarters occupied the lower two floors of the home and the kids loved the bunk room, and we loved that they all could fit in their very own room, although a couple of them ended up sleeping on the same floor as the adults the 3rd and 4th night, it was just nice to have the bunk space and just in general the bunk room is just awesome and what a great idea! While not enjoying the amenities of the home we found it easy to set out on a few day trips and spent 1 day exploring Lake Louise/Banff/Johnston Canyon, 1 day at the Radium Hot Springs, both about 1.5 - 2 hour drive each way, totally manageable, and I say this with 5 loud and active kids in tow! We also decided to have a 'low key' day to enjoy the home and spent a little time at the cute local playgroup and enjoyed checking out Golden with the cute shops and market!

Fantastic high end rental with gorgeous views
Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Steven and Kimberlys beautiful mountain retreat. We traveled as a group of 3 couples and a small child for a family wedding and this vacation rental had more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. We stayed over the August long weekend and although it was smokey from the B.C. forest fires, that didn't damper our experience at all.
Steven and Kimberly were very easy to deal with and extremely accommodating. Check-in was seamless and we were stunned with the beautiful views one we stepped into the house. The home is brand new and immaculate. I've never been in a rental that was so well stocked. The main floor/kitchen had every thing you would need for your stay from lots of plates, cups, cutlery etc to surprising details like a slow cooker, cook books and a Nepresso machine! We had lattes on the deck the first morning and took in the views, it was just lovely. There is also a huge gas BBQ out on the deck which was very easy to use. The large kitchen table sat 10 and the sectional had more than enough room for us all to gather and be comfortable. There is also a powder room on this level. The slippers at the front door were also a nice treat. The rest of the house was well stocked with soft linens and more than enough towels, with extra towels for the hot tub. The hot tub is located right beside the garage door for very easy access. The middle floor had the master bedroom with a large ensuite and 2 more large bedrooms with a shared bathroom. There is also a washing machine which we did not use but would be wonderful for a longer stay. The lower level delighted my 5 year old when he saw the 4 bunk beds and the resident stuffed pig that was absolutely adorable. It also had a bathroom which was very convenient.
We attended several wedding events at the restaurants on the hill, took a gondola ride up to the top of kicking horse for the ceremony (gorgeous!) and had a fantastic game of golf at the local course. Other than that, we spent most of our time in the home and were very satisfied with the set up and amenities. If we ever come back to Golden, we would definitely stay at this rental again.

Beautiful home with lots of space for our family of five to spread out.
We thoroughly enjoyed this home. We have used VRBO and HomeAway for vacations all over the world, and this home is among our favorites. We have 3 adult children that came with us, and there was room for all of them to have their own rooms, and beds left over! The master bed and bath are very nice and comfortable, although the master bath doesn't have a door so it can be a little noisy if someone is in bed. When we weren't out hiking and exploring, we were gathered at the table that overlooks the huge balcony. PRO TRAVEL TIP...buy lots of mosquito repellent with Deet and citronella candles once you get to Golden. We thought the mosquitos in Texas were big and bad until we saw the ones in Golden. Remember to bring bear bells or bear spray because they definitely have a presence in Kicking Horse.
Kicking Horse was the perfect location for the activities we wanted to do. We were able to visit Gorman Lake, Glacier NP, Yoho NP, waterfalls, etc. The drives to these places are scenic and the hikes were solid day hikes. Pack lots of bottled water if you intend to hike in the summer. The town itself is the perfect size. Grocery stores, a butcher shop, coffee shops, and good restaurants are all only 15 minutes from the home.
We loved the location and the home so much that we are researching investing in our own property! The hosts have been wonderful and keep in contact. I had a necklace fall into a place I couldn't reach and had to leave it there. I told them about it, and they had their property manager retrieve it for me! The only thing that I would've liked to see is instructions on the ventilation fans. Us Houstonians don't use them; we would wither in the Houston heat and humidity without our air conditioner! I was able to find an owners manual online and get the fans going, and felt like an idiot. Haha!!

Very comfortable house with spectacular views of the mountains!!!
We were here over spring break. The house was fantastic! Our little girls LOVED the bunk room and the hot tub! We loved the views of the mountains and the very comfortable beds. The kitchen had pretty much everything you needed and it was a very short drive to the best skiing we have had all season!
