A group of us women do a vacation race together every year and rent a home so we can stay together. This house was lovely. Walk down to the waterfall and soak your feet in the cold water. The hot tub was great for after a long hike. Location was peaceful and the owner was great with communication.

This house is great. So close to the entrance of the park. (20 min drive) we had planned on going to the park everyday for hikes but the waterfall area in the back yard was so nice and fun for the kids and adults we took two days off just to play around the house. There’s 2 different grocery store that have everything you could ever need 5 mins from the house. Love the house love the host, nothing bad to say at all.

We had a wonderful stay at the Waterfall House. Everything was clean and spacious. Yelena, the owner was personable and answered all my questions. The adults, as well as the children had a fun experience of walking down to the waterfall area and swimming in the pools. The mornings and evenings were spectacular, getting to sit out on the deck and watch the sunrise and experience the sounds of the waterfall while enjoying the landscape. Thank you for the perfect place for our visit.

Immaculate. That was my first impression. Everything was neat and tidy. The house has everything you need. We had 8 adults and 2 dogs - everyone loved the house, location and the waterfall area. It was great watching kids (ages 17-22) as well as the dogs explore each day. The house is so centrally located we were able to rent a boat on Bass Lake, go to the movies, visit Yosemite or just relax by the waterfall. Yelena was amazing and checked on us via text and was available if I had any questions. We would love to stay again!

This was a beautiful home. It accommodated all 13 of us easily. Waking up every morning and having our coffee on the back porch overlooking the waterfall was wonderful. The homeowner was very nice and easy to communicate with, even suggesting things to do in the area if you wanted a break from Yosemite. It is an easy drive to the national parks near by as well as the Fresno airport. Would highly recommend and would stay again! Thank you Yelena for opening up your home to us!

Creek access!
This was a great place with lots of extras!! It had a nice gazebo with plenty of seating and propane fire pit, a really nice play structure that the grandkids loved, a basketball hoop and ball, tether ball, porch all around the house with plenty of sitting areas, then the waterfall creek area to swim, and fish it was the ultimate spot for lots of memory making with umbrella and seats next to the swimming hole!! We loved this place!!! There was 5 adults and 6 kiddos!!

Better than expected
The house was better than we expected. Prior to arriving, the owner gave us clear instructions on how to access the house. The kids were excited to see all the amenities that the house had (games for kids, playground, waterfall). The adults liked that the house was clean and well organized. There was only 9 of us, but for larger parties, there is a second refrigerator. The owner was very responsive when we had questions about our stay. She even gave us recommendations on restaurants and places to visit (which we greatly appreciated). We all enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning next year. Great property and location
The property was very comfortable for 2 families. The playground structure was awesome! Stunning views of the waterfall with access for the kids to play in the creek. The kitchen was functional with plenty of fridge space. Easy access to Bass Lake and Yosemite. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Wonderful property
I would recommend and stay at this property again. It is central to town and the national park ( about 20 minutes to south entrance). Rooms are spacious and the waterfall in the back yard speaks for itself. We really enjoyed it. Thank you

Wonderful Place to Stay
We had a family gathering with the maximum number of guests and the lodge did not feel crowded. There were plenty of gathering areas outside for smaller groups to gather. The waterfall was spectacular! The owner was flexible and accommodating. We loved our stay.

Great stay!
Very spacious and comfortable house - plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and a dog. We enjoyed all the outdoor spaces - the gazebo, lawn games, grill, and of course the private waterfall! Convenient location, close to Yosemite's South Gate, Bass Lake, and the grocery stores in Oakhurst.

Wonderful Waterfall House
This property exceeded our expectations and the pictures really do not do this place justice!
We were a group of 6 adults and 6 kids (8-11 years old) staying in the house and we had 2 adults and 1 kid staying in their RV in the driveway. Tons of parking out front even with the RV and three SUVs.
The house is conveniently located about 1 hr drive to Yosemite, 1.5 hours down the Yosemite Valley, 20 mins to Bass Lake and about 15 mins to Oakhurst.
There is a bit of a hill down to the river/waterfall but so worth it. The river was calm while we where there and we spent our late afternoons after hiking in Yosemite or boating at Bass Lake just lounging in the river while the kids swam & played.
The house was well organized with tons of plenty of kitchen amenities. We ended up using the griddle/grill out back for nearly all our meals and the two full size fridges in the house was a nice added bonus given the number of families sharing the house.
The A/C was a godsend as we were there during a heat wave and each bedroom also has its own mini split as well.
Evenings were spent lounging on the back deck star gazing and listening to the river. Ton of outside space to lounge between all the decks and the gazebo.
Yelena was amazing to work with and quickly responded to all our questions and phone calls. Though she does reside on the property, you would never know it!
Everyone was super happy with the place and all said we would rent again in a heartbeat.

Home away from home
We were getting married that week and it was the perfect location for us as it was close to Oakhurst and a short drive from Yosemite Valley so it was a good balance of city and nature. Our friends stayed with us but it never felt crowded. The waterfall was absolutely gorgeous and fun to sit around and relax. Yelena was so friendly and accommodating, she truly has a gem of a property. Easy to book, easy to stay, easy to love! This was an amazing experience.

Beautiful home and waterfall!
We had such an amazing time and loved our time here. All the comforts of home were there and it was so beautiful that we only ate out once. The waterfall area is so peaceful and beautiful that I could’ve just stayed there all day, but we also hiked Yosemite and spent a day at Bass Lake, and both are convenient to get to. From the house. Can’t wait to come back again!

Waterfall property
Property is beautiful! The sleeping accommodations not so much. Needs new mattresses and sleeper couches. Owner lives on property and a little overbearing. We were told we used too much water. The grandchildren loved the beautiful waterfall.

Beautiful house and property with a dream waterfall view and access!
We loved our stay here. Upon walking into the beautiful, clean home, we were captivated by the big windows revealing the beautiful waterfall down below. The balcony is huge and shady in the early morning so you can enjoy quiet time while taking in the view. The walk down to and back up from the waterfall is short but can be slippery and steep. The area around the waterfall has a cool lounging area with chaise lounges, chairs and an umbrella for a private and amazing experience. You can venture into the (cold) water to be refreshed and enjoy exploring. (Water shoes recommended!) As described in the listing, there are two private bedrooms with queen beds and one single bed in the "pantry" and then the other sleeping arrangements are either a shared bedroom or the living room area. The proximity to the lake is great - you are at Bass Lake in about 10 minutes. The drive to the Yosemite gate is about 20 minutes (without traffic) but be aware to get to the Valley, it will take another hour or so. (Go early to avoid LONG waits in traffic). Yelena is an amazing, sweet and accommodating host. Overall, this property is amazing and offers a wonderful experience in a great location!

All you could want.
We had the best time & photos do not do this place justice. The home is beautiful & plenty of space for a great family vacation. The kitchen is wonderful equipped. The home is located near plenty of fun if you want to leave the home. We had a great time at the waterfalls behind the home. Bass Lake, Sugar Pine RR and Yosemite Horse Trails are all within a short drive and is also located near restaurants and shopping. I cannot say enough. The owners were also quick to respond to any questions. This is a definite 5 star rating.

Words can not describe the beauty of the falls
End to end we had a great experience from communications with Yelena to our actual stay.
Location is just a few minutes from town but far enough to be secluded within nature.
Our family enjoyed every minute we were there. Created memories that'll be with us for a lifetime and looking forward to coming back soon!

Perfect place for family memories to be made
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday in this remarkable home. We were very comfortable and there was enough space for all of us (6 -8 adults and 4 children).Yelena was quick to answer any questions, her home was clean and as pictured- no surprises! It was also well stocked with dishes and cooking pots and pans.
We were able to visit Yosemite easily as well as be close enough to Oakhurst to pick up groceries. Our last night was the best with S’mores being made by the family in the tranquil setting! So much fun- definitely a memorable trip!

Great Cabin! with great amenities
The cabin is in a great location, very close to Yosemite. It was was tidy and well cared for. There were enough linens, bedding, and towels to accommodate a full house. Additionally, the kitchen comes fully stocked with appliances, some spices and seasoning and the like. The grill worked great, and the view from the deck is amazing! Hope to come back and highly recommend.

Beautiful Location close to Yosemite
This home is on a one of a kind location in Oakhurst and very close to Yosemite. My brother, sister and I rented it for a week while in Oakhurst for our nieces wedding.
I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to be close to Yosemite and have wonderful waterfalls in their backyard. Very nice home and quiet location!

Beautiful property!!!
This was an amazing property! The driveway was huge with plenty of space to fit our four cars. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Although we didn't get to go to Yosemite due to the fires, we still enjoyed ourselves. We spent the entire day at the creek. We will definitely love to come back next summer. Yelena was always available when we needed and she was a wonderful host.

Waterfall Was Better Than the Pictures!
We went with my kids and grandkids. The house was perfect for a family vacation. There was plenty of space to hang out and they actually wanted to leave the lake sooner than planned to come back play at the waterfall and in the river!

Beautiful location, and a very comfortable home.
My Family of six truly enjoyed our stay. We liked the location in proximity to Yellowstone, groceries and restaurants. My kids enjoyed the waterfall and exploring the area around it.

Everything I could have asked for
The property is conveniently located minutes away from town with plenty of available bars, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. The home itself is gorgeous! The hardwood floors are beautiful and the views are spectacular. You can see the waterfall from the wrap-around balcony, which is equipped with plenty of comfortable seating, a fire pit, and a BBQ grill.
The 3 main rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There is a small pantry room suitable for an individual next to the kitchen as well. The kitchen is huge and features a lovely island perfect for cooking and preparing meals. The livingroom/dining area has a huge dining table that seats 10 comfortably. They have board games, a basketball hoop, tether ball, and so many other things to do.
Yelena came out to greet us at the waterfalls and even gave us a net to catch crawfish in the river. We had an amazing weekend and didn't need to leave at all! We cooked meals, sat by the fire and enjoyed the river. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful, but beware, the water is cold!

This place is beautiful!
We have used HomeAway in the past and found some not to be as advertised- Not this place!!! It was everything as described and the pictures does not give it justice! The pictures are great but this place is Gorgeous! The town of Oakhurst is nice and convenient. Bass lake is just minutes away! The owner Yelena is very hospitable and easy to work with! The home is spacious and the perfect place to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday! Sleeping arrangements were comfortable on two of the 5 days we were there we had 13 adults and 6 kids plus my little dog! Great fun and we all managed wonderfully! The other three days with 10 adults and no children was awesome! This place has everything you need to grill, bake and cook! We look forward to visiting again!
