Especially the kitchen and great location access to subway and laundromat one block away.
Nice quiet place.
If possible, could you please separate the toilet from the kitchen, like they do in Europe. I had to wait a few times for 20 minutes just to use the bathroom. Or maybe add an extra toilet stall separate from the current bathroom in the living room area.

Everything was all right and as expected from the description. Clean, comfortable, affordable.
The only thing I would change would be adding a bedlight to the bed and some comfortable sitting place in the common areas.

Everything was fine, i had to use the AC whenever I was in the room, but the apartment was clean and equipped so no worries.
The elevator sometime did not work, which was extremely inconvenient sometimes, and the room itself is nowever near Times Square , l alone 15 minutes from it.

The apartment itself is very clean with good facilities. You can contact host on his mobile for any queries and he answered them very quickly۔ He does look after this property. Cleaner comes everyday. Overall I'm very much satisfied with ۔y stay here.
But it is definitely not 15 mins to Times Square. Take no 1 subway from 145 street to 42 street to Times Square. The journey is 30-40 mins depending upon the local or express subway train.
The flat is on the 6th floor so if the lift is out of order you need to walk.
Tex's chicken next to it is very good and halal deli shop at the corner of 144 is superb.
The lift was out of order today and I have to carry my large suitcase, a cabin bag and bag pack from 6th floor to ground. It is an ancient lift.
The area was very dirty with lots of drug activities around. And inside the building.
Although it is illegal to smoke in the building corridors, still people from the 5th floor regularly smoke weed here which was not pleasant at all.

Super clean. Subway station to the 1 train (26 minutes from 42nd street) is only a block and a half away. Ivan was very nice. The plenty of places to get food nearby and close to a nice park with bike rentals.
Everything was perfect, no complaints!

the area is a bit sketchy, especially at night. the mattress was thin. the room was quite small but I didn’t mind

Location was good, close to subway 1. Clean, and nice kitchen and bath. Very quiet. Nice and big matrass.
Noisy and smelly lift. Room very small and basic, noisy heating system. No place to sit comfy. Ladder to bed very steep.

Livable, cheap for Manhattan. Just a regular apartment building in NY so makes a cool experience. Host is responsive. There is a clean (shared) bathroom, kitchen and dining area. A nice TV in the bedroom.
Exposed pipe going through room was very loud. Easy to have a problem if other guests are loud, but at the time of my stay it was fine. There are immovable blinds on all the windows - not much more than a place to sleep but that's all I needed. Area could get dangerous late at night.
Personal taste but I really hated the smell of the place (they have automatic scent sprayers) - others might like it but not for me.

Location, price and cleanliness standards were all good. Plus the communal kitchen was well equiped
Room was small so to save space it has a loft style bed. It's above your head up a steep ladder. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Also the light switch is on the ground, so you have to do the climb in the dark or leave the light on all night

Location close to subway station but more like 30 minutes to Times square than 15. Room was clean, bed quite comfortable, bathroom was not clean at all times because of other guests.
Apartmant is fine, room also. But not 15 minutes to Times Square. Nobody lives there or comes to check out whats happening. Other guests were quite loud at night and leaving mess in bathroom.

The owners are so nice and helpful. It's everything there what you need. The next subwaystation is so close, so you get very quick to the city center.
The apartment is a little sensitive.
