Lovely accommodations, great location to walk around Saugatuck. Local food was served for breakfast and the innkeeper gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner. We had a lovely long weekend here.

The location. Nestled behind a beautiful garden, secluded and private. Yet easily walkable to restaurants and shops.

This is a historic home with a beautiful staircase leading to the bedrooms upstairs- which is fine unless one has difficulty climbing stairs as I do.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast that was brought to us every morning was excellent. The unit is centrally located in the city and quiet.
A few things that I found not to our liking is the path to our cottage was muddy, uneven and very narrow, the dust bunnies on the windows were huge and exterior seemed rather run down for what we were paying per night for.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sorry we had to leave early.
The area is amazing and beautiful.

The place is clean. Breakfast was delicious.
I was disappointed to see how cluttered the house was from the moment you walk in. It is almost uncomfortably cluttered.

Private cottage. Private hot tub. Breakfast delivered in a basket … delicious and homemade.
The bed in the private cottage is in a loft. A loft that you can’t stand up in and is only accessible by steep ladder. Wouldn’t work for many couples.

The location
The clutter, the lack of food choice. No ice available. The lack of visiting space. Way to much furniture and things everywhere. We went out and sat and the deck, which was not signed private and the owners made us get up and leave the area. The guests have an area in the flower beds but no walkway to get to the table and chairs. The table and chairs were not cleaned off of bugs and spider webs.
It seems they are barely maintaining. It doesn’t seem like they cleaned and freshened up the home or grounds for the season.

Breakfast was delightful. It was a lot better than other places I have stayed. The location was ideal, located within walking distance to town and a short drive to other towns around us.
The parking was challenging. Not having a bathroom inside our room.

The staff is always so accommodating and friendly - breakfast was amazing vegan as requested. Location couldn’t be any better!
