El alojamiento

El personal muy atento. El alojamiento muy limpio. Todo bastante nuevo. Un detalle café y refrescos sin cargo a disposición 24 horas del huesped.

No es culpa del lugar. Pero muy cerca hay un PUB y por la noche en las habitaciones de las plantas baja y primera se oye el vocerío de la gente cuando sale gritando a altas horas de la mañana. No es un problema del hotel, si no más bien de la falta de civismo de algunos ciudadanos.

Very beautiful hotel, clean, free coffee and tea, extremely comfortable bed.

I think they made a mistake when renovating the bathroom because when we took a shower, the water flowed until our bedroom! The inclination is totally wrong and there's no barrier to avoid this in the washing area. Our shoes were all wet, we had to dry the floor with towels.

La ubicación es excelente, a meros de la estación del tren y de la parada del bus turístico, puerto, barrio Populo, mercado gourmet, locales de comida, etc. El dpto está muy bien equipado y es cómodo. Ofrecen el servicio de bebidas, Coffee, te y galletas gratis en un área reservada para este fin.

La calefacción estaba fija en 25 °C, por momentos se sentirá calor

The room was on the first floor with access to coffee, beverages and snacks that were provided. The room was exceptionally large and very comfortable. There was a small kitchen and dining table that provided everything we needed to have a nice lunch, breakfast or dinner. The bedroom was located very far from the living room so provided privacy and quiet if one person wanted to retire earlier than the other. I would highly recommend.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The staff was excellent. Thanks for a great stay.

What an amazing find! Grand entrance, very bright, and clean. COOKIES and drinks were always available. Had washer and dryer. Hardworking Staff were kind, helpful and friendly.

Everything was great, artwork and curtains. Could stand a refresh.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Free drinks like water, coca-cola, or coffee are in the lobby. Good localization, near the city center. There is a lift that gets you to the big roof terrace.

The apartment wasn't adequately adjusted to prepare something to eat. The kitchen was very unfunctional with a lack of basic cutlery. There is no sharp knife. You can't freely open the fridge because the doors are blocked by the TV set. It's hard to do the dishes because there is insufficient space to lean over. The trash can is small and it's hard to open the cupboard to get to it.

Great location, very homely accommodation. We were on the top floor so had access to the roof terrace, which was good and felt very private. We walked everywhere in Cadiz and being in the centre of the old town was perfect.

We really enjoyed this property - it's super comfy, modern, clean, and the communication with the staff was excellent. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the cozy common area with a minibar was a nice touch. The place is tastefully decorated. Highly recommend it!

Now, let me delve into some minor downsides, but they're relatively insignificant compared to the overall satisfaction: The most significant inconvenience was the lack of sound isolation in the apartment. Especially for the ground floor units, there was some nighttime noise - both from the street (you can hear passersby's conversations quite clearly) and from the common minibar area used by other guests (though it seems the door and interior wall are somewhat soundproofed, so it might only be problematic if you stay right next to the minibar or the elevator). The upside is that the hotel's location isn't noisy, and the exterior nighttime noises only occur when someone passes nearby. Another drawback would be the relatively early check-out time (they state 9-10 am). However, when we asked for a later checkout, they easily allowed us to check out at 11 am. One thing that I didn't like was that even though it's presented as an apartment, the rooms are not fully separated. Also, the air conditioning can't be controlled separately in different zones. The bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom, but as I mentioned earlier, there's already no door separating the bedroom and the living area. Additionally, the bathroom sink is quite small. The location is good in the old town, in a peaceful pedestrian area with some dining options nearby and parking about 200m away. However, tourist attractions like Barrio de La Viña, La Caleta Beach, Plaza de la Catedral, and others are within considerable walking distance.

I have made a longer trip around Spain and Portugal, This was a best room and place. Clean very nice and modern equipment, clean with some extra possibilities like drink in bar free of charge. Really nice.

English speaking reception, great location of hotel near bus stops and main sights as well as bars and restaurants. Flexible check-in time, comfy and nice rooms, free (decent) coffee at the lobby (incl. water and non-alcoholic beverage).

Not enough options to hang wet clothes

Very good location although still a 20 minute walk to the beach. The refreshments in the lobby were a welcome bonus

The staff on the desk were helpful and friendly and the cleaners did an excellent job of keeping our room neat and tidy. Great location near the station and the old town.

It was a little noisy from revellers on Friday and Saturday nights outside the building but it was only a slight inconvenience.

We highly rate our stay at Plazuela del Carbón Suites. The apartment was very spacious and fully equipped. The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness and standard were of a very high level. If we ever return to Cadiz, we will definitely stay at Plazuela del Carbón Suites again.
