Excellent hospitality, excellent location. Very close to the beach and short walk to the train station. We're big foodies but wanted to stay local after long hikes each day. We ate all three of our dinners just a block from here and they were fantastic. Beautiful light out the window, excellent AC in the heat. We will definitely return.

Great Location - Ricardo was amazing and helpful.

The hotel is super central, on the town square, 300 meters from the beach and all great restaurants and bars are within a 5 min walk. The owner helped us tremendously; with our luggage, tips on restaurants and getting our car sorted with their parking permit. The rooms are well layed out with modern bathrooms and super clean. The airco is new and beds are very comfortable.

Location was perfect, right in the middle of the town. Room was perfectly clean and good mattress.

Thin walls made our stay a little discomfort during the night due to noise coming from people closing the door.

Ricardo was very accommodating during our stay, allowing us to stow luggage and providing great recommendations. The room was air conditioned, which was helpful during the heat wave when we stayed. The room was large, nice and clean. We had an excellent stay.

Ricardo was absolutely delightful. He was so helpful, patient and friendly. He went above and beyond. In fact, one late night he even came by to help us into the lobby (our key wasn't working). The room, though small, was lovely and breezy. The bathroom was small as well, but everything was clean and well-cared-for. Great location – right in the heart of Levanto with many restaurants, bars, gelaterias, etc. close by. The train station to Cinque Terre was an easy 10 minute walk. Also the park right out front of the building hosts some wonderful artisan booths (maybe just on weekends?).

The parking/check-in situation was challenging. First of all, when I arrived at the building, I wasn't sure how to buzz up (I didn't have an international phone plan and couldn't call reception, but luckily someone was coming out of the building and let me in). Then Ricardo explained we were in the ZTL and had to park in one of the designated areas he marked on a map for me. We went to try and find parking, drove through all of the designated areas and had no luck. So then I went back to the hotel, explained the situation and Ricardo was trying to strategize a solution when I finally got word that my husband had managed to find a spot. It was quite stressful.

The location is superb! close to the beach ,cafes, restaurants ,bars ,supermarkets. The property is spotless,the host Ricardo was exemplary,carried our suitcases, took us to the station when it rained . Ricardo explained the area very well provided beach towels, tips for restaurants. would highly recommend this property and the area of Levanto as a base for Cinque Terre. The train station is a short walk. There is bike hire available locally 10 euros well spent to cycle on the flat through the old train tunnels with the spectacular views along the way to Bonassola. Go the extra to Famura very pretty. The cycle journey is all on the flat !! If you visit Cinque Terre by train make sure to do it by boat also and stop off at Porto Venere. Dora Aurea rooms make the perfect base.

nothing to dislike

Perfect location to Cinque Terra. Close to train station, great restaurants and right on the charming town square. Ricardo was the best host! He was so helpful with recommendations, carrying luggage, obtaining a wine bottle opening…..anything we needed.

it was a great location. a little tricky to find. they gave us a parking pass which worked out well but we had to park a short distance from the hotel

Independence, Location, Cleanliness, Comfort

Great location in the middle of Levanto. Very clean and large bathroom. AC worked very well and check in was easy. We had a lovely stay!

We knew this before and it was not a bad thing, but the hotel had no parking so you have to park outside of the center and walk in (approx 5 blocks). The host was very helpful in helping us find parking so it was not an issue, just an FYI for guests with cars.

great location, close to the train and to the ferry to Cumque Terre

during the night it was very noisy outside, difficult tto sleep with the window also difficult to find a parking place

Excellent location - very central. Lovely host - he carried my bag up the stairs. Room had a hair dryer, kettle & was cleaned daily. Fresh towels daily.

Can be noisy at night (expected when so central) & door is tricky to open.
