This place is absolutely wonderful to stay at! Located up in the hills you have a marvellous view of the entire city and sunset. The owner was so lovely and accommodating. He picked us up from the train station at 7am and allowed us to check in early and then drove us back for the train to Mostar at 6:30am when we had to leave. With is such a good place to experience Sarajevo.

It does have a very steep walk to and from the main city but that’s not unique to this property. All of the surrounding locations in Sarajevo are like this.

Great host, really helpful at all situations. He came to pick me up at the bus station and provided me with all the info I asked, even beyond (where to eat, where to go in the city center). Very pleasant guesthouse at residential area, beautiful abundant garden, with great view on the city. Aprox. 30 minutes walk either to the central bus station or old city center (Bascarsija).

Everything was great and the host is very nice and super helpful, thank you Rijad! The view from the terrace is amazing day/night. Just keep in mind that the place is uphill, but me and my friend walked to the city center every day, and took a taxi on the way back.

We've appreciated the terrace amongst other things, on which we've enjoyed breakfasts overlooking Sarajevo. The room was clean, cosy and well equipped. The host was really welcoming and helpful, he even gave a ride to the bus station for free. And there is a grocery just 30 meters down the street.

You have to walk/drive steeply uphill, which is not a dislike, just a fact. :)

Everything about the stay was amazing! The host has informed us about everything before even asking about things. The view from the room was very nice. The last day the host has even offered to take us to the bus station by his car. I will definitely come back to this place when visiting Sarajevo.

Nothing really comes to mind. Some people might not like that the way to the house is uphill but it is worth it for the view, in my opinion, so we didn't mind. Word 'hill' is in a name after all.

The location is not faraway from the Centre you can reach it by taking 20 min walk. Room was very clean and big enough for one person , the bed very comfortable Toilet & Dusch very clean and there TV if you understand Turkish you can watch Turkish TV series, the view from Balcony is amazing there you can caffe or tee drink. Rijad is really friendly and he was very helpful. so i can only say everything you need, excellent value for money. if i come to Sarajevo, i will stay there again. and would recommend to everyone.

Super clean and a balcony with a nice view of the city. Furthermore the beds were very comfortable and the owner had water bottle for us in the fridge and also coffee sticks.

The price of this property when split between two people is fantastic. Especially for the quality of the apartment. The beds are comfy, the rooms are large, and the bathroom is clean and tidy with a large walk in shower. The room also comes with a wardrobe, fridge, desk, tv and an amazing balcony with views over the city. It is a 15 minute walk to the town centre, but despite this being up/down a hill, it is still an easy walk - and completely worth it for the view from the balcony. The apartment also feels extremely safe with the owner ensuring that the main doors to the property are locked at all times. The host really is fantastic and a very friendly person. Since we arrived in Sarajevo early morning, I messaged the host to see if we could store our bags for the day or have an early check in. Quickly the host responded saying this was possible and that he would leave the key for us allowing us to check in as soon as we arrived. Later in the day he came and spoke to us to make sure we were okay. Before we left, the host also even offered to drop us back to the station if needed, which was very kind.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this property and host. Even if i was to nitpick, there is nothing that I can fault.

The value for money was excellent - the room was comfy and the place was very calm. We travelled by bike so it was great that we could keep the bikes safely inside.

It is quite an uphill walk from the center if you've been cycling continuously for several days before, but given the excellent price you can't expect it to be in the center of town.

Wonderful location (15 min walk to city center) with beautiful city view. Caring and suppotive host. For sure we will stay there if visiting Sarajevo next time!

Nice host, very secure house, good view of the sunset, balcony, great bathroom, free flipflops, a ton of towels, it all felt like a luxurious hotel, not that I would know what that feels like :D

nothing comes to mind, maybe lack of public transport closer to the place, it takes effort to climb up the hill...

Everything was perfect. Clean, calm and hosts were amazing. I highly recommend this lovely hotel to everyone. Some were complaining about its location as you have to go up the hill a bit. But to be honest, Sarajevo is hilly and most of the time you have to go up for most of places. So, just for 10 min. going up is not a big deal😀

Comfort and cleanliness

Everything is perfect. Mr Riyad is a very polite host. Everything in the room is thought out to the smallest detail. Comfortable slippers, tea, sweets, water are included in the price. White towels, good shower gel and shampoo. The view from the window is amazing, the room has a nice balcony. And, most importantly, a very clean room, the cleanest I have ever booked in Bosnia.
