We really enjoyed our stay at Kevin's house while visiting friends and family (and hiking and swimming) in the Northeast Kingdom. It was more than big enough for our family and had lots of thoughtful little extras for the kids. The house was fantastically well-equipped, with everything a large group needs to live comfortably and even host friends for dinner. We especially loved the firepit, the spacious yard, the blueberries and tomatoes in the garden, the comfortable beds and the outdoor shower. Kevin was also a fantastic host, very thoughtful and responsive. We'd love to come again!

Excellent location, house and host! We made better time than expected and were able to check in a little early. Were greeted with a wonderful snack basket. Enjoyed watching the solar eclipse around the fire pit in the back yard.

Perfect setting for four siblings and their spouses. Plenty of space to gather it spread out depending on people's preferences. All beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the ge tools we needed to prepare several meals.

Farmhouse charm and great location
We had a great stay at Kevin's farmhouse for several days of biking at KT. Kitchen is fully loaded, garden has fresh goodies. Wifi worked well. Loved the bike/ski vibe, the great outdoor shower and sunset views. Kevin was responsive and helpful.

Skiing at Burke
Great house! Great location! The house has plenty of space and well equipped. The garage is well equipped also, great for working on skis and storing your gear. Firepit in back yard is wonderful for hanging out after skiing all day and the sun set from the yard is something to sun. Thanks so much! Hope we can do this again.

Lyndonville farmhouse is super cozy and authentic
This property surpassed our expectations! It is super cozy, with a Sweet corner stove in kitchen to snuggle in at, and the house is incredibly well appointed. There is a welcome basket with snacks upon arrival, which my family devoured, and everything you could need for your stay. Host is accessible and super easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to come back this summer!

We love this property. Kevin the owner is amazing and has thought of everything to insure the perfect way to experience Vermont. The house is warm and inviting. The garage doubles as a game room hang out. Can't say enough, you need to see this one in person. Thanks Kevin for a great time.

The property was a well-equipped updated farmhouse from 1860 that had all the amenities you need for a VT getaway: big stocked kitchen with all the basics and a grocery store nearby, nice bedrooms, a fun room with indoor and outdoor games, and beautiful grounds with a garden on site with blueberries, tomatoes and the like to share. Very close to East Burke, Kingdom Trails and Lyndon. Hosts were also very informative, helpful and generous.

Beautiful, friendly, fun place!
This was the highlight of our road trip around Vermont. The house was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and stocked with all the utensils for cooking, games and even a stunning little vegetable garden. Our hosts stopped to say hello, and offered us blueberries and tomatoes from the garden. They explained all the things we needed to know about the house and made sure we had a contact number for them. There are plenty of fun activities to do in the area, but honestly there was so much to do at the house, we barely felt we needed to leave.

We had a wonderful time at the property. Everything fit our needs perfectly. We all agreed that it was like staying at a close friend's house. The garage and outdoor areas were key for enjoying time together despite the need to socially distance. We plan to back soon.

Perfect !
We booked this home in mid September , just as the leaves had started to turn . The yard is beautiful and perfect for families with kids or people like us who travel with their dogs . The home was supplied with everything you would need from the kitchen to linens . We were left a welcome basket with fresh veggies from the garden . The home owner kevin was prompt in his responses which was much appreciated as we locked ourselves out of the house ( forgot the code ) and would have been late to the wedding ! Thank you . We will book again for certain .

Great time for both young and old . Youngest 10 months and oldest is 88 years old . Beautiful property located near hiking and biking trails and lakes for swimming .
Fun nights with the children and adults sitting around a camp fire making s’mores and telling stories . Plenty of board games .Picked blueberries and raspberries on property for breakfast pancakes. Huge kitchen for our large family gathering of breakfast and dinners .

Impressive rehabilitation of a century and a half old property, with a caring owner!
We stayed here nearly a week over the 2019 Presidents' Day holiday, skiing at Burke and Stowe. There were eight in our party: three couples, two little kids, plus a dog.
Everyone had a wonderful time and Kevin was ever at-the-ready in case we had any questions or needs.
This place has sleeping possibilities for 14 as we counted them. (15, if you have and count a dog and use the large in-kitchen crate[!])
The sleeping arrangements are perfect for three or four couples and up to five-to-six kids. Three couples have three adjacent upstairs bedrooms served by the front staircase. Those three bedrooms are of different sizes and bed arrangements: the largest has a queen plus a twin, the next has a queen, and the smallest has a full. (Note that this last room is a bit tight, but certainly not too-so, and inasmuch as we were hosting we took it.) Served by a second staircase leading up from the wonderful kitchen/family room is what we think of as a dorm room with three twins, two of which are trundles, and which give this room nice sleeping for up to five kids or very-familiar singles/couples.
Connecting the three 'adult' bedrooms and the 'dorm room' is the second floor two-door bathroom (and yes, both doors lock).
Overall, this is an outstanding setup for a multi-generation family or close friends with kids.
The first floor is quite spacious, as the pictures show.
One couple can use (we didn't) a sofa sleeper in the sitting room.
Around this floor are three TVs: one in the kitchen/family room; one in what was likely once a dining room and is now a game room; yet another in the 'theater room', which is complete with half a dozen recliners for movie night. (Note that the kitchen and theater room TVs have Amazon Firesticks; we didn't use or check the third one.)
Both bathrooms are capable, and the cute use of plumbing parts on the first floor one deserves a chuckle! (But also note that they are plumbed in common so separate use of showers can preclude an unexpected dash of cold water.)
The main feature of the house is the wonderful kitchen/family room. It is well equipped and cozy-warm, with a perfect gas heating stove that is of current issue with an optional temp setting, and a giant eight-person+ picnic table that can bring everyone together at mealtime.
Bottom line: This is a delightful and very spacious home away from home (pun intended). Warm in winter, nicely and fully equipped, and with a caring and creative owner. Big five-star props!

Beautiful getaway!
We picked the perfect time to visit and a fantastic place to stsy. Kevin & Donna were fantastic hosts and responsive to questions prior to arrival and post arrival. Clean, comfortable quintessential farmhouse that while rural is convenient to everything we enjoyed. This place has character, lots of windows and is far larger than it looks on the inside. Two stair cases ( kitchen and then from of the house) to go upstairs to the bedrooms. Plenty of places to relax in and outside. Strong wi-fi (had to work for part of my stay) and every comfort of home you can think of.
Check out The Pizza Man (Wing Night on Monday’s, and they deliver to this location), Miss Lyndonville diner close by. St Johnsbury is 15min away and you should check out Pica Pics for a taste of something different with Filipino Cuisine. Or Junipers for a nice dinner.
Close to Maple Grove Farms for maple products, Ben & Jerry’s, Dog Mountain, Stowe, Cabot Cheese, and the Von Trapp Family for Lodge for touristy things to do. Numerous trails for walking, hiking and biking. Highly recommend!

very comfortable
We rented this house to be close to our son's wedding. We needed a place with a kitchen and enough bedrooms for wedding guests. This is a beautiful farmhouse that is very comfortable and comes with everything from a welcoming basket in the kitchen to comfy comforters on the beds and fluffy towels. The owners were immediate in helping us resolve any problems. We wish we were able to stay longer to enjoy the house/yard and area! We would definitely recommend this to place!!

Very enjoyable!
We really enjoyed staying at the house! We were contacted before we arrived and told we should please be in touch if we need anything. The house had so many spaces for us to use over the long weekend we were there. It really felt cool to know we were staying in refurbished/updated farmhouse! The grounds were beautiful and MASSIVE. We had a great time playing outdoors and enjoying the weather.
Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We rented this amazing property President's Day weekend 2018 to go snowmobiling. Donna & Kevin were super responsive as soon as we first inquired about the property and answered all of our questions. Our two German Shepard's were welcome, which was a huge bonus & they even provided crates so we wouldn't have to bring ours. Donna also located a local, fantastic!, dog sitter for us who came to the house several times while we were out riding to check on the dogs. We had an even better time knowing our pups were happy too!
The house is exactly how you imagine a VT farm house - beautiful wood floors, wood stove (not the main source of heat) & huge table with bench seating in the kitchen. We shared some delicious meals and lots of laughs around that table! We were welcomed with a letter with what we needed to know during our stay, an adorable welcome basket with human & dog treats, and a note to help ourselves to coffee, condiments, etc that were in the house. All the appliances are newly upgraded and work great. We were even invited to use the washer & dryer, and it was great to come home with clean clothes! All of the sheets, towels, etc were provided and the beds very comfortable! We vacationed with another family, and there were a total of 4 adults and 3 kids (2 teenagers & one pre-teen) in the house. There was plenty of room for all of us - and we didn't even use the 4th bedroom! The kids loved that there was wi-fi in the house!
The snowmobile trail is right out the back yard, through the back hay field. The feeder trail is about a half mile and the closest VAST corridor trail marker is CA82... The trails were amazing and we explored the Burke area, rode out past Island Pond, and out to the Danville area on the last day. Trails were well groomed, marked, and we had a blast!! There was plenty of parking - we had a 4 place and 2 place trailer and had no problems parking them and our trucks.
For skiers, Burke Mountain is local and Kevin & Donna provide snow shoes if you want to venture out and about on their beautiful property. The house is located minutes off of 91 and is very easy to find. Local shopping is minutes away if you don't want to bring your groceries, etc.
Kevin & Donna - thank you so much for such a wonderful weekend! Your hospitality was phenomenal and we hope to be back again next year!!

As advertised and much more!
The home was really nice and had many extras. It may look like a dated farm home from the pictures but it is newly remodeled and has all the amenities of a 4 star hotel. The owners provided tips and advice for our Mountain Bike plans and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. It is an easy drive to the trails and restaurants. You could ride to the trails but if you like to end your day at the local Tiki hut or other Brew establishments I would pick a designated drive and drive to the Kingdom Trails trail heads parking. We took advantage of the new Washer and Dryer, the bike wash stand and the awesome outdoor shower. One of the people in our party is already looking to book this home for a winter skiing trip. I highly recommend this home and would stay here again.
Regards, Michigan MTB Enthusiasts.
