The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very prompt and communicative. Great location. Beautiful views! Would definitely stay again if I’m back in the area.

I was in Seattle for work and we decided to check out Bainbridge for a couple days. Beautiful. The cottage was perfect for us. Great area, quiet with great views.

The trip to Bainbridge Island was excellent in every way. We were contacted by the property owners (Peggy and John) prior to the trip informing us of check-in procedures, etc. They were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was perfect--roomy, comfortable, all the amenities we needed. Information about the area was provided. Highly recommended! We'll be back!

This was our second time staying at this perfect little cottage. The place is absolutely immaculate, the bed is super comfy, and the kitchen is well-stocked. I really appreciate the little extra touches like cut flowers in the living room and bedroom and yummy freshly baked cookies. We can't wait to schedule our return trip.

The location is fantastic. Driveway is lined with ferns and mature trees. The guest house is impeccable, everything has been thought of. It's an instant home away from home. Very well appointed kitchen, good quality linens and towels, very tastefully selected furniture and art.

We stayed at Joh & Peggy's guest cottage on Bainbridge Island for 5 nights in early October 2022 while we visited Seattle and the surrounding area. What a lovely place! The pictures on VRBO don't lie - it is exactly as described - just beautiful. Cozy, warm, quiet, and comfortable.. the hosts thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We loved that the cottage was tucked away from the main road and looked forward to driving down the private, tree-lined path each evening when we returned. The location is very near the Seattle ferry, as well as local shops, grocery store, and restaurants, which was convenient, but far enough away to escape the congestion. I made full use of the kitchen while we were there and found it to be well-appointed for each meal I made. The outdoor deck is huge and has a nice view over the roof of the main house to the Puget Sound. It's also furnished with plenty of comfortable seating. Peggy & John were excellent hosts - very nice folks and friendly. They told us about First Friday Art Walk and the Moonlight Market at Town Square, which ended up being a fun night out during our stay. We will definitely recommend it to friends & family, and would love to stay there again on our next trip to the PNW.

The cottage is in a great location! It is cozy and just a nice place to stay. My husband and I went for walks in the morning and it is a short drive to town for breakfast, lunch or dinner. John and Peggy are the most gracious hosts.

We had a fantastic girls wine weekend in Bainbridge, and the house was amazing. We made so many great charcuterie trays in the large kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed the huge deck. The 30 min walk to downtown was so nice! Will stay again!!

We've stayed on Bainbridge Island several times, and this beautiful cottage is now our favorite place to stay on the island. It's in a beautiful forested location just a few minutes drive from the main town of Winslow. The cottage does share the property with the main house, but it also feels totally private. Peggy and her husband were so lovely and have created a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Super clean, nicely decorated, comfy bed, and heated floors in the bathroom! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make a meal. The air conditioning was very welcome since it was a bit warm when we stayed. We look forward to coming back to stay!

Lovely. Immaculately clean. Beautiful landscaping. Huge deck. Quiet. Large living room / dining room with a queen pull out sofa. Perfect for my group of 3 adults -- husband+wife in master bed and sister-in-law in sofa bed. Nice owners live in adjacent home.

From the moment we came down the tree lined driveway, we were impressed. The cottage was adorable, spacious and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time relaxing on the huge deck, listening to the wildlife. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed to cook. The bed was so comfortable. The hosts were gracious and made our 1st time to Bainbridge special. Well be back!

The cottage, location, and hosts each rate 5 stars plus. We had a wonderful time, and understand why one must book early to get a date on the calendar. A good time may be had whether it rains or shines. The property is private and secluded, yet is close enough to town for easy access. I would recommend a car, as the walk to town and the ferry is without sidewalks.
