Cabin On River's Edge ist eine familiäre Blockhütte, die am Ufer des Cosby Creek, einem der Forellenbäche der Blue Ribbon der Great Smoky Mountains, liegt. This is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed at this cabin and we've always had a great experience!

The property and cabin are beautiful with tons of.detail. Very spacious cabin with large front porch and back porch overlooking creek. Large downstairs game room kept us entertained as a family. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your property.

I really didn’t want to leave a bad review but I also don’t want anyone else to have the same experience. When we arrived, check in was very easy, inside of the cabin was nice and clean. Outside of the cabin need a lot of maintenance, cobwebs everywhere and you can tell they were there for a long time. We ended up leaving after two nights because there were bats flying around the basement and were behind the chimney trying to get in. The manager was very responsive, said that he had no idea that there were bats even though there was a large hole outside next to the chimney where they were obviously getting in for some time. I had spent hours looking for the perfect cabin and location so the my kids could fish the creek, drove 10 hours. Manager offered to move us to a place in Pigeon Forge which was not where I wanted to be on vacation. I had to pack up and find another cabin and half the trip was ruined. I would just beware of this cabin as it is not maintained and was way overpriced for what you get. I did receive a refund minus the cleaning fee after multiple phone calls and a lot of time wasted.

Had a great time with family. Was the perfect get away. House had all the comforts we could want. On the banks of a beautiful stream which was great to look at, listen to and fish in. Couldn’t ask for a better host. Went above and beyond whenever I reached out to him. Highly recommend this property.

This was absolutely breathtaking. Hated to leave. While we were there the creek got up but just listening to it was so relaxing. There was nothing about this place that was short of relaxing and peaceful. Hope to visit again.

My husband, myself and two of our adult children stayed in this cabin during our vacation. The cabin was very roomy and we felt comfortable during our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck and listening to the babbling creek behind the house. The cabin was well stocked with supplies for our stay, and we would love to stay here again in the future.

The property was clean on the inside. The back deck and furniture could use a pressure washing. The pool table & ping pong tables were nice; the air hockey table is old and needs replacing. The discs were too heavy for the table. I loved the kitchen and living room. The light fixtures & cabinets were amazing. The bedrooms could use some updating. The stream/river right outside the door was very relaxing. The swings add a nice touch to the porches. It was a little disappointing to find out the gas grill was not there, so we had to use the campground style one next to the house. It is in a remote location, but a short drive will take you to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and North Carolina. I would definitely stay there again.

The property and location are awesome. Very accurate description. Could use a little maintenance, but this didn’t bother us at all. You definitely get more than what you paid for.
Do note: supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc) are limited. Might have to run up to the dollar general. The dollar general is great. Market Dollar General. No need to buy supplies coming in.

My husband and i were looking for a place to take our 2 adventurous boys that had plenty for them to do, and this place has it all. It is very spacious inside and out. Highly recommend especially for families.

This cabin was perfect for our group of friends! We live close by actually, but we wanted a fun place for a quick getaway. This is the place for that! Tons of space, a hot tub, everything you need. The owner had great communication via email. We hope to use this cabin again!

The cabin was beautiful, cozy and just deep enough into the woods to feel free. The sound of the stream next to us was such a bonus. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for the memories.

This cabin was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, and it was a lovely place. Our children loved the stream and the pool table, hockey table, and ping pong. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The decorations were fun to look at too. What a fun place!
The cabin was also close enough to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains that it wasn’t hard to drive there, but it was hard enough away that it was very quiet.

Loved how the cabin was laid out. Plenty of room for our group of 7 to stretch out. We enjoyed the game room, porch rocker & swings, listening to the creek. We decorated and made it "our own" for Christmas. The grands checked out the hot tub. Jets needed cleaning..slimy mold. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. No snow, but got a Christmas eve frost!

We really enjoyed the cabin, beautiful area. We did not want to leave, I will rent this cabin again.
Now if you have a hard time with stairs, going down to the game room can be hard for you.
If you are tall, sit in the shower. I’m 5 1” it fit me just right. We had one who was about 6 5” and all we could do was laugh.

Loved the rustic cabin. Well furnished with plenty of kitchen things. Beds comfortable. The decorations were so rustic and outdoorsy! Loved being on the river and were able to fish and caught a few which grandkids enjoyed! A bit of a drive to National Park but loved not being in all the congestion!

overall the property was nice, had a river right behind the cabin and overall cabin was very clean!
The property was quiet! Fishing was not on point when we were there, which was a bummer- didn’t see one trout in the stream.
Other than waiting for the cabin to be cleaned once we arrived overall a nice stay. Even though it was a no smoking on property you could quickly tell it was not a smoke free home in the past.

Beautiful, and comfortable. Would liked to of had a mirror on the back door of the master bedroom. I was too short to see myself in the mirror in the bathroom. Also some safety strips in the shower shower floor was a little slippery we were very comfortable and you supplied everything that we needed, thank you so much and we will see you again

Our cabin was within feet of a swim creek, had several different game tables, and was secluded which is what we wanted but close enough to attractions.

The cabin was really great since we had a rainy stay. Having the covered porches with swings was awesome, and being right on the creek was so relaxing. The kitchen was nice and the long table was great for meals. We enjoyed the pool table and air hockey table. The hot tub was super clean.

My family and I stayed here for a few days in May. The weather was beautiful. Hot tub was perfect. And fishing was pretty good. We loved the cabin. It was more than sufficient for us. The cleanliness was excellent. And the amenities were great. We loved it, and Would stay again definitely.

Needed a getaway for myself and a few friends before my upcoming wedding. We chose River's Edge due to the large yard, pool table, and creek. You cannot beat this location as far as scenery goes.. the creek just outside both porches is amazing enough to listen too, but also has several small trout. The spacious yard provided privacy and space to throw frisbee and play other yard games. The only downside of the property is the bathroom sizes. Both are maybe less than 5' x 7' and the showerhead stood 5 and a half feet tall. I'm 6'4" so this was an annoyance, but a minor one considering the perks of this cabin.

This property was as advertised beautiful setting on Cosby creek. The cabin was clean and everything in working order. The hot tub and game room were excellent for both kids and adults. We will be going back to the area next year and will check availability of this place

we only stayed 2 nights and the power was out most of the first night till late so we played games in the dark with flashlights. also there was mention of a propane grill which was not there only a charcoal picnic grill. other than that they stay was fun. cabin was nice and manager reaponded quickly to any issues

In general, it’s a nice place and we were grateful for the opportunity, but it is misrepresented online.
The kitchen is well equipped. I recommend a crock pot.
I recommend you change the directions to include the driveway is on the other road.
The pictures make it look secluded, there were neighbors all around and across the river. Outdoor furniture is very old and dirty. There’s no safe entrance to the river from the property. The grill is stationary and charcoal, something you’d see at a park. The ping pong table is broke, inadequate paddles and balls. No TV’s in bedrooms and during NCAA tournaments, it’s a must have. The dressers were dusty. The bed in the sofa was disgusting, very dirty. When the cushions were removed, I found cords from previous renters, old snacks, popcorn kernels to name a few.
I’m sorry for this honest review but for what we paid a night, I expected better.
