Did not know what to expect but everything was perfect! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Great view of Lake Superior from the cabin. Was only about 10 yards from the water

We rented 3 cabins at Freighter's View. All of us enjoyed the location, accommodations and the View!

Great relaxing place. The view, host and caretakers, Jeff and Chic were awesome!

Great location near the Falls & Whitefish Point. Beds were very comfortable & cabin was exceptionally clean.

This is our 2nd trip, and requested the same cabin. What a cool place. Loved it. Thanks to all who is responsible for our comfortable stay. We will be back. Also we were there for the 4th of July the fireworks were incredible. Thanks again.

It was so nice to have a small kitchenette. I loved having a big window facing the water and we saw a lovely sunrise right from inside the room. The firepit was clean and to our surprise, firewood was included. That was a nice bonus. We didn't need anything from the manager because we had no issues. Outstanding little cabin. Thank you!

House listed was under construction and not available! The first house offered had a terrible odor that was causing my throat to hurt!! The second house was adequate at best but in paradise there aren’t many options - way overpriced for the condition of the house!!! Glad it was only two nights.

We stayed in mid May. Unfortunately the town of Paradise isn't awake yet at the date. Only 1 restaurant, the Wheelhouse, but it was great serving breakfast thru dinner each day. The house was very well stocked and super clean.

We were given the wrong access code to the property, and could not get in. We had to cancel our vacation. The owner was not available by phone or text, for help. The owner did eventually contact us, and said she had her phone off. Our money was refunded by the owner within two weeks. VRBO was reachable, and helped us find alternate accommodations, which they say will be refunded also. I have stayed at VRBO's in the past, and have had great experiences.

Beautiful area. No frills. Good bed. Warm showers. Couldn’t ask for more

A very economical location to rest our heads for the evening during a cool and colorful October. Room was exactly as described, plenty of amenities. Comfortable beds, hot shower, beautiful view of Lake Superior and close to the falls and whitefish point. Only knock would be the thin walls and the light from the other unit showing through the door frame all night long.

I found the other reviews to be very precise. My own experience was having the power go out the last night I was there. I left before it came back on. Hopefully all is okay. I called and left a message but never heard back. I never knew what happened.

This cabin is on the main road and has lovely views of lake Superior. I had an issue and the property manager made it right. I did not expect that.

This property has 2 units together and aren’t separate cabins. The walls are paper thin so if you want privacy this is not a place for you. This is more like a motel rental. I loved being on Lake Superior and we had great neighbors. Internet is very weak so we had to link to our phones to be online. TV is streaming and doesn’t have much. We didn’t intend on being in our room except to sleep and it did have comfortable beds and pillows so it worked for us.

No heat, no tv service. No manager to get get a hold of. My husband got the heat to engage, after trying to call the manager.This may sound petty, but an extra roll of toilet paper would have been nice. Beautiful view out the windows. Beds were comfy. Very nice except of the little things.

We were shocked to find we had NO toliet paper. the phone # listed was different than the one in the cabin to call. The recording said the mailbox was full.. This was our 1st experience staying in a cabin. It was very compact. The weather was rainy, so we could not be outside., no fault of the owner. :)

Enjoyed the cabin, but there were empty beer cans on the picnic table when we arrived and the coffee pot was not cleaned. It had a used coffee packet in the basket and the pot was not clean.

No A/C and it got very uncomfortable at night. Internet and TV virtually in and out and not useful. No one in the area serves breakfast. Probably should charge $60/ night.

Clean and easy to find. A bit close to a busy road, and the television did not function at all.

We had a great time here! Very close to the lower and upper falls and Whitefish Point. You can't beat the view!

1 room cabin with 2 Q beds made for a tight fit. They would be better served to remove 1 bed and add more seating and maybe a kitchen sink?? Only had a table for 2. Thankfully we only booked for 2 nights. I could never see more than a couple being comfortable there longer than a night, maybe 2. Bathroom needed more shelves or hooks or a flip up side board next to the sink. The grounds could really use trimming and mowing and limbing of the trees so you can see the water better. The lawn chairs were black and filthy and there was no way you'd want to cook anything on the grill! One positive note: firewood was available at no charge.

I have stayed here previously, but at a different unit on the property. As usual it was very clean and the view was awesome as you are right off lake Superior and can look out and see the sun rise if you are up early enough for it! The internet had some issues unfortunately cutting in and out so I was unable to do homework in my down time, but it's not a total issue and doesn't take away from the unit itself. Overall a great place to stay and will most likely book again in the future!

We had forgotten a few things - so the kitchen supplies were such a great surprise! Amazing location if you want to do multiple day trips across the UP - or if you just wanna watch freighters on the bay!

somewhat disappointing from picture depiction to actual room. Outside dirty looking, inside could have been cleaner in the bathroom corners. shallow bathroom sink is the only place to wash dishes, just didnt feel clean doing that. on the plus side we were gone most of the day exploring the beautiful area. I would not stay again but fine for a short stay and eating elsewhere.

Picnic table area was not great. Landscaping needs upkeep so you can view the water! Inside was dark and just clean enough to get by.
