Wooded Cottage in Town walking to Marina, Restraunts
New Cottage in den Wäldern an der Quietside von M. D.I. mit Blick auf die Äußeren Inseln. Haustierfreundlich. Die Stadt und die Great Harbour Marina mit mehr als einem Dutzend Restaurants in der Umgebung sowie das kostenlose Shuttlebussystem (23. Juni bis Columbus Weekend) sind zu Fuß fast überall auf M. D.I. und Acadia National Park. Minuten zum Acadia National Park, Wandern, Radfahren, Kajakfahren, Schwimmen, Bergsteigen, Vogelbeobachtung, Walbeobachtung und vielem mehr.
Dies ist ein neues Ferienhaus, das im Herbst 2011 fertiggestellt wurde. Ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, Schlafboden mit einem doppelten Futon, Kathedrale Decke, Wohn- und Essbereich mit einem Zustellbett oder Luftbett für zusätzliche Schlafmöglichkeiten. Propankamin mit manueller oder Thermostatsteuerung für die kühlen Abende, die wir manchmal in Coastal Maine sehen. Eichenparkett im gesamten. Vollständig möbliert mit den meisten Artikeln, die Sie benötigen, und auf Anfrage versuchen wir, alle gewünschten Artikel zu liefern. Eine Holzterrasse mit Gartenmöbeln und Grill. Eine Feuerstelle und 4 Stühle im Garten- und Bachbereich vor der Hütte. In unseren drei Cottages (Homeaway Nr. 956783 und Nr. 3498716) können wir so viele große Gruppen oder Familienfeiern (14 Personen) unterbringen.

Quiet location in the woods was a wonderful spot to unwind after long days of hiking. Enjoyed the fire pit, exploring the woods, and we enjoyed the uniqueness of an A-Frame cabin in the woods. Vicki was an attentive, and responsive host. Provided us with fabulous hiking recommendations to explore parts of the park we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. We would recommend this property to anybody. Thanks again we hope to be back!

This cabin was the perfect stay for my husband, me, and our pups. We loved the location, and had a great time exploring Acadia National Park.

My adult daughter (and our dogs) stayed at this absolutely perfect cottage and enjoyed three days of hiking. The cottage seems really new although the lovely owner said they have been renting for 14 years. It was really clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It feels like you are in the middle of the woods but just a minute from the cute town and a very short drive to all of the trails. There are three rental cottages on the property and would be wonderful for a family reunion or larger group. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Woodland Cottage 3 in Southwest Harbor Maine. It was clean, delightfully appointed, and in a gorgeous wooded setting very near downtown. Great central location for exploring Desert Island and Acadia.

We had such a wonderful experience here at the Wooded Cottage. The place was very clean, had great amenities, and was close to everything including Acadia National Park and restaurants. Vicki was very responsive to all of our messages. I would 100% recommend this cottage to family and friends! We definitely plan to come back!

We love this place because it has all the feel of a camp, but it’s walking distance to southwest harbor shops and restaurants. The air conditioning and heat also made the difference with the crazy weather. One if the beds in the loft is a bit lumpy, but otherwise this place is super comfortable and clean.

This cabin was the perfect place to stay to see Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. It minimized our driving which allowed us to see and do more. We loved the grill and the fire pit. We had a beautiful deer drop by and drink from the creek. We loved the privacy that we had here! Owners were great - laundry onsite, fully stocked kitchen, dry wood provided, and so much more!

We had a great experience at Cottage #1. The property was exactly as listed, and the host was very responsive. We were close enough to explore Acadia every day, but far enough from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor to enjoy the quiet, even if it was rainy and foggy :) The cottage was stocked with everything we needed, from cookware to condiments to dry firewood! We will definitely visit again!

We spent 5 nights at this cabin that was fully stocked with everything our family needed to explore Acadia. Loved staying on the quiet side of MDI, easy access to Bar Harbor and the western side. Host was very responsive to questions and we’d definitely stay here again!

This property exceeded my expectations. Of all the places I have rented up on Mount Desert Island, this was by far my favorite. The location is great, the cottage is amazing and spacious, and the amenities are second to none. I really enjoyed my stay.

The cabin was clean, well prepared, and had everything we needed. You could sleep 4 very comfortably, and possibly another on the couch. The firepit outside was a great spot to wind down after a day of hiking or biking.

What a perfect little spot for our Acadia adventures. The cabin has EVERYTHING you need, was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We enjoyed the fire ring and watching the harvest moon rise over Southeast Harbor. We loved staying here!

We loved our stay at this cottage in Southwest Harbor! Wonderful woodland location, yet easy walking distance to town. Inside was clean, comfortable, and cool. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the spacious deck and outdoor fire pit, which was supplied with wood. Our 12 year old loved the loft and we appreciated being able to bring our dog with us. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great week at the cabin- it took only a couple of minutes to walk to downtown SW Harbor, but felt much more remote. Easy access to Acadia NP. Cabin had everything we needed. We hope to get back some day!

Host has thought of everything. What a great cabin, tucked off the main road and has just about everything you can think of. My two teenage boys are asking when we can come back. First time to Maine and we had an amazing trip! Made some great memories. Communication is great and quick with host.

The perfect spot
We love Mt. Desert and go every year. We’ve always camped in the past, but a pandemic puppy forced a change of plans. This place was the perfect spot. It had the fire pit, the grill, the outdoor setting that we loved while camping, but it also had every accommodation you could ask for. The place was super clean, especially considering it’s pet friendly. The sunrise from the loft is stunning. We’ll definitely be back.

Great vacation house
The cabin is really nice and convenient. We can see the owners renovated and decorated the house by their hearts. We enjoyed nature, wood, and fire pit. They supplied the fire wood, but my son was reluctant to ask for more. Now we know tree branch is not allowed since the risk of the fire in the wood. Overall, We enjoyed the vacation cabin very much. Thank you for everything and the sorry about the use of the outside tree branches.

Spectacular!!!
This cottage was AWESOME!! Perfect location to a lovely village for food and shopping. Close to Bar Harbor and other great attractions. Superb hiking locations in Acadia. We cannot say enough great things about this cottage except to add "a bit of heaven " Thank You to the Beal's for providing this cottage and giving us such wonderful memories!!

Great 4 night stay in Southwest Harbor
Property was perfect for our family of four. Also it was very quiet and clean with beautiful views. Location was perfect with access to all of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
