Comfortable and clean. Great time. Thanks

Great house. We enjoyed the stay. Very convenient to Maggie Valley, Cherokee and Bryson City. I’d recommend it to anyone

Often, the pictures are nicer than the house. But, not in this case. The view from the front porch and side deck were million dollar views of Maggie Valley. The kitchen was well stocked and the owner was very responsive. It was a great 2 weeks.

Everything about this cabin and the view was just as listed.
Very clean, comfortable and cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed and all the beds were sooo comfortable. So glad we chose this cabin! One could not ask for a more glorious view! Thank you so much!

The cabin was absolutely as stated in the listing! The Hosts were very communicative during the prices and keeping up to date on the weather to ensure we made it to the cabin safely! Cabin was clean, neat, stocked and comfortable and peaceful for our family!! Highly recommend this VRBO and the wonderful hosts!

What an amazing view from the front porch! We stayed in this comfortable and cozy mountainside cabin for nine nights where we witnessed fall takeover the valley. On one of our days, we drove through the Great Smoky Mountains to take in the brilliant fall hues...our first Elk sighting came at the end of that drive, when we saw a small herd grazing near the Oconaluftee Visitor Center. On another day, we drove up to Mt. Mitchell to observe the spectacular views in all directions. We also rode the Great Smoky RR to the Nantahala Gorge on a warm, late October Sunday. There are several nice places in Maggie Valley to have breakfast, or to eat dinner. We already know that we would like to visit Maggie Valley and surroundings in another season. Gracie's Place is a 5+ cabin.

Secluded, wonderful mountain view. not just to look at but we were up in the mountains. Our son walked up the mountain behind the cabin one morning and encountered a Bull Elk ,2 cows and 3 calves (Elk babies) . We heard them bugeling as we left Friday morning .I guess they were telling us "BY".This awesome home (cabin all wood) was absolutey amazing . All wood with beautiful "God made " designs. It was spotless ,a beautiful wrap around porch with rocking chairs, benches and deck, with table ,chairs, grill . A beautiful propane heater tower with crystals and rocks. LOL I dont want to say too much because we are renting this beautiful mountain home again next year. Not too far from Maggie Valley. Lord willing we will be back for sure Fall 2024.

This was a very nice property with an unmatched view. It is very cozy, and every bedroom has its own tv, which we appreciated.
The road, which is very steep and gravel, meets the driveway at a difficult angle to maneuver. Unfortunately, when it rains, a part of the road closest to the driveway sort of washes out.
The fire table on the porch was a nice touch, as was the bottle of wine left for us.
Be prepared to tote your trash to a trash center some miles away when you leave. This was inconvenient, and we feel shouldn’t be expected of guests.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but would recommend you take a truck as we did so your car doesn’t bottom out going from the gravel road to the driveway.

Beautiful cabin. Great area, not far from everything. Very quiet and peaceful. The view from the deck was amazing. We fished the entire time and the location was perfect. The owners responded quickly with any question we had. The drive way can be a little tricky but not a real issue. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cabin, very spacious, wonderful porch to sit and relax on. We did see a bear cub one evening, saw bear and elk tracks in front of porch. Very relaxing vacation!

We loved the cabin! It had everything we needed and enjoyed the front deck immensely. That driveway is no joke, but you’re in the mountains so comes with the territory. Can’t wait to come back again, nothing beats the proximity to the parkway and Smoky Mountains NP!

Stayed here multiple times. Beautiful cabin. Perfect views. Driveway is not for the faint of heart. We’ll be back.

Third time we have stayed at the location, is peaceful and a wonderful place to stay.

We missed the beautiful fall colors by about a week. The cold weather prior to arriving didn't help. Very nice cabin. Beautiful view. Beds were comfortable, kitchen completely stocked. I would suggest a new kitchen faucet, very little pressure to rinse dishes. Used the
indoor fireplace always and what an ease to use. Also enjoyed the outdoor firepit. Felt good at night sitting outside on the porch. As for the drive in the development and their driveway, I highly recommend you have a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. Got stuck trying to go past the drive to turn around the first day, but then figured out an area to turn around without getting stuck for the rest of our stay. Saw a beautiful elk right on the side of the road eating some apples from a tree on our way out one day. Visited Dillsboro, Cherokee, Cataloochee area in the Smoky Mountains Park, saw more elk. Cabin is centrally located. Had a nice stay

We had a wonderful time. Very nice cabin with all we needed. The driveway was a bit steep but that added to the adventure of the mountains.

What a beautiful place to stay for a mini Vacay. The cabin was beautiful everything about it was beautiful. I enjoyed our time in Maggie Valley and Cherokee. Love the cold weather we live on the beach and it was such a nice getaway from being hot.

This cozy little cottage was a great place to plan excursions around North Carolina. The majority of our hiking expeditions were only an hour away. The mornings were spent sipping hot beverages on the front porch awaiting the sunrise.

Everything was as stated in the description. Great location with easy access to Waynesville and Cherokee. Very comfortable and great accommodations!

How to begin!!! Heaven! It was beautiful the most perfect location overlooking the valley and mountains! I think I sat more in the rocking chair on the front porch just looking at the view than actually inside! It was perfectly decorated with everything needed for our stay, all the kitchen items and then some was fully furnished! The bedrooms were amazing and comfortable! We enjoyed cooking at the cabin! We took my sister to see al the sites around Maggie Valley and Cherokee and linville caverns! The pictures I took from the cabin are posted on my Facebook Maggie valley group and everyone wants to know where I took them from!! Debbie and Jim I cried leaving Saturday morning I wanted to stay for another week…. I didn’t spend enough time there I think! My sister said she will never forget the experience seeing the mountains and I chose your home because of the Mountain View! Thank you so very much and I would love to stay again in your home next time for 2 weeks if available! This was a perfect vacation!!

We had a wonderful time at Gracie’s Mountain Cabin! Three generations…myself, my mom, daughter and niece. We made some great memories here! The house was perfect for us! Plenty of room for us to spread out…and a bathroom for each bedroom was great! Yes, the driveway is very steep (eeeekkk) but my daughter managed getting us up and down it just fine! Driving past the driveway, turning around and coming back down to pull in is the key! Same with pulling out! The porch was our favorite spot! We watched the sun rise…had coffee, cinnamon rolls and “Maggie mimosas”, all while enjoying the gorgeous view! We didn’t have any elk visit at the cabin, but we did see some each night on the road leading to the cabin and a few roads nearby! We did have a sweet bunny visit each day and we loved watching him! We had busy days…from shopping at Maggie Mountaineer Crafts, the Cabbage Rose, Jelly Belly’s (shopping and ice cream), Simply Soco, and others! Our first night we ate at J Arthurs! We drove through the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountain National Patk! We saw the elk at Cataloochee, drove to Pigeon Forge and shopped, ate at The Old Mill and rode a mountain coaster! Drove through Gatlinburg…my mom was amazed! We went to Soco Falls which was absolutely beautiful! Ate at Bearwater Brewing Company and Joey’s Pancake House! And after our adventurous days…coming back to the cabin was still the highlight! We felt right at home from the beginning! Thank you for sharing your home with others! Our days here were a true blessing!

We loved our stay at this property and would definitely rent it again. It was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. It was a pretty cabin - decorated with a great eye! The views were so gorgeous...the pictures do not do it justice. We did lots of hiking in the area and it was so nice to come back and relax on the porch into the evening.

We stayed here for 6 nights in June and had an enjoyable experience at this property. The cabin is a bit tough to get to in a regular vehicle with the very steep driveway, but once you perfect the art of this, the cabin affords a great opportunity to relax with a beautiful view in a well equipped property. We were able to explore the area discovering nearby water falls, the River Arts District in Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had everything we needed to be comfortable with all we needed to make the visit pleasant and memorable. Debbie, the host offered great information about things to do in the area and was available for any questions we may have had. We highly recommend the rental of this property if you are looking for a remote area near the Great Smoky Mountains.

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway
Gracie’s mountain cabin is wonderful, nestled on the side of the mountain in a private community. Very clean and charming, it met all our needs and was perfect for watching the biggest game in college basketball history! Minutes from Maggie Valley and Cherokee, 2 thumbs up and if we ever return to the Valley, this is where we will stay!
