The best feature is the sea view, it really is amazing Hotel has been recently refurbished so everything looks clean and new Staff are very helpful and food is good It’s just 10 min walk from the beach, although it’s a steep hill

There’s an extra cost for parking, rooms are not cheap so having to pay additional for parking feels excessive Plumbing is very noisy, especially noticeable (and annoying) in the mornings Breakfast gets very busy, be ready to queue

Animation sportive, et culturelle. Très bon restaurant. Site géographique et plage à proximité. Ensemble des personnels très accueillant ( restaurant, entretien, accueil, animation, bar...)

La sono dans la salle "théâtre" pas toujours adapté au spectacle proposé. (Son parfois trop fort, écho ...). Pas d'information sur le parking payant au niveau de l'accueil lors de l'arrivée. (Une pancarte peut visible lorsque la barrière est ouverte, signale que 30 minutes sont gratuites pour le déchargement des bagages). Ne pas trainer pour l'enregistrement et le transport des bagages vers sa chambre surtout si l'on a pas fait attention à l'heure d'arrivée (pas de reçu d'entrée/sortie)

Muy lindo hotel y la cala es hermosa. Estuvimos también por el sur y sin duda nos quedamos con el norte porque el sur está petado de seres humanos

El ascensor demoraba demasiado en llegar, tanto que solíamos usar las escaleras. La cala queda a unos 200 metros y son muchas escaleras, pero vale la pena.

Clean room with a beautiful view of the coastline. Staff were 10/10 and there were activities for all ages. Lovely and good sized pool. Good selection of food but would probably tire of it if you stayed more than a week.

Location - preferred the beaches on the south of the island but that’s just personal preference!

A terrible error in the hotel refurbishment are the bedroom doors. Every door slams closed by design. Therefore early in the morning and late at night you hear doors slamming closed. Pool is very cold.

Staff were great, beach was nearby and convenient buffet daily.

No shower door and drainage bad so just flood the bathroom with every shower; nowhere to put shower gel, comb or anything else other than shower floor; corridors look like a prison corridor. Rooms TINY. All the impressive decor was saved for the lobby.

The hotel is located on one of the best beaches on the island. The view from the room is fantastic. The food was great.

This Hotel has been recently refurbished, and the whole infrastructure is quite good, confortable and efficient. The staff, especially the ones working at the reception, are quite kind and available to help guests with their requirements. We didn't have any difficullty with communication, although people tend to reply us in Spanish (when we speak in English) when they understannd we are Portuguese.

There are several matters that could have made our trip significantly better, and some of them are definitelly things Hotel needs to improve. - We travelled as a family of 4 adults and 1 child (4 years old). We booked 2 rooms, and considering the price difference per room/night, we would assume the room is bigger and larger (the one kid was staying). It was not. Just similar, but paying more then 100 EUR/more per night by a 4 year-old kind (night cost was 474,28 EUR/night/room). - We booked half-board, which includes breakfast and dinner. Opposite the the full board, no drinks were included during the meals, which doesn't make any sense. In every "Family Hotel" I have been so far, on half-board you have exactely same benefits as a full-board during the meals. The difference is outside the included meals. - Coffee was not served during meals in the dining room, with exception of breakfast. We need to move to one of Hotel's bars to have coffee and pay for it (coffe was neither included also). - There are no cutlery for children. My son, with 4 years old and to eat with big adult's cutlery during the meals (we are not speaking of 1 year-old children that only use plastic cutlery brought by parents). - A/C on the elevators was turned off. Considering we are in the peak of the summer, it was extremely unpleasant to travel in the elevator full of people with 30ºC + inside. - The kids room was opened during 4 hours per day. How is this acceptable in a family Hotel, specially in peak season? 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon. - On the main bar "SA Pomada", there was no table service. There were only 2 staff there after lunch/dinner, and we had to request everything from the counter. - At 11 PM and without speaking with guests ahead, they turn off the terrace lights, leaving guests in the dark while they are seated. Tables remain un-clean for a long period, even if guests left long time before.

The aircon was silent. Room spotless and high standard

You either like all inclusive or you don’t. This is no different to any other-poor food- poor value- and very noisy dining experience. The never ending wailing of young children made a delightful accompaniment to the constant clattering of cutlery and plates. Breakfast no better

I loved the decor and design of the hotel. The Colors were very relaxing. I also appreciated the closeness to the wonderful beach and the beach transfer when needed.

Maybe the fact that you have to ask to have your bed sheet and towels changed. Also they should have smart tv in rooms instead of regular tv

Friendly staff, excellent food, quiet pool

Nice view as the building naturally dominates the surrounding area. Good breakfast and dinner, good wine list almost without a markup. Good catering service overall, food quality and variety was exceeding expectations.

Small room size, top shower in a bathroom needs decalcification as was not really useful. The temperature control was quite sensitive to set, but that is a common issue in big buildings were water consumption is hard to predict. The cleaning service can be improved as none of the two garbage bins was emptied after the cleaning. The elevators can get quite busy, so best taking stairs. Bit of chaos with a towells exchange as reception can send you to the pool area, and they are at lunch and have a message sending you back to reception. Not clear how to dial to reception, so had to go there every time. Taking out a sandwitch from breakfast was told that food cannot be taken out, definitely not an appropriate comment considering a price tag at high season and how much food goes directly to the garbage bins daily at such hotels.

Friendly permanent cleanliness Near to the beach

The staff was great and very helpful with questions. The hotel was clean too. I liked the decor and design of it. The pool area is nice and it's lovely to have access to still and sparkling water by the pool. I loved the proximity to the beach too.

I wish the rooms had a little more space to them. Given that the shower doesn't have any doors, the water goes all over the bathroom floor. I wish this were designed a little better because we soaked the bath mat every time we showered. The food was okay, but I'd rather eat at one of the restaurants near the hotel instead. Additionally, it would be nice if they had outdoor dining for the meals and we didn't have to be inside.

The all-inclusive package was excellent. Food was of a high standard with a good range of choices per serving. Drinks and snacks offered throughout the day made for a good selection of food and beverages.

The entertainment was a little low on choice. A disco or live band where people could dance would have been better. Also, the hotel suggests it has beachfront access; however, it was a walk down steep stairs although close to the beach. Families with a baby should be aware of this.

Everything is really clean, and beautifully designed. The staff were very friendly from the restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, bar and entertainment team. The food was good, great selection for every seating, their special evening themes were great, e.g. sashimi, ceviche, tacos, tapas. Stunning views, a little walk to the beach (uphill on the way back with a tired toddler was tough, last shuttle at 17:10 which was too early for us). The beach is lovely, clear water and soft sand. Parasols and beds for hire when you’re down there (19€ for the day!!! - not owned by Palladium) Our last day was excellent - we had a late flight, checkout not until midday, then they let us keep our poolside towels until we were leaving, we kept our all-inclusive bands so we could still eat and drink and they provided a courtesy room for 30min for us to freshen up before our flight! These added extras made the end of our holiday so much more relaxing/less stressful.

I can see why this place has such a good rating - why it mightn’t be for everyone - it is very very relaxed, quite quiet in the evenings (though there is entertainment until midnight most nights it was in the form of lounge singers in the relaxed adult-area (though children are welcome)). There are other restaurants and evening entertainment venues nearby, but didn’t venture to them in the evenings with a 3yo and all-inclusive food. I think on reflection it was perfect for what we needed (relax and unwind) but a bit more hubbub might be needed for next time

The doors at night when people enter their room and we’re slamming shut and were really loud. Unfortunately this kept me awake for a few hours each night.
