This was the perfect Highland location. The cottage was lovely, with a versatile layout and superb grounds. The fireplace was charming and watching kangaroos play while eating breakfast was pretty special. Denise was a considerate and helpful host. Coming in to bread and milk (and chocolate) was an unexpected but wonderful gesture. The location was great for exploring the Highlands. Central enough that nothing was too far away but secluded enough that it really felt like a proper retreat. Overall it was a wonderful experience staying here.

Property was cosy and comfortable. Wildlife was lovely (kangaroos, rabbits and birds). Not far from town. Good communication with owner. Wonderful place to stay.

Property was nicely and thoughtfully presented, with several areas sit and read, watch television and play games all at the same time. Beautiful property with great views and wildlife enjoying the backyard daily. Highly recommend.

Denise was a great host with good communication & provided ease in booking / check in to her lovely home. She decked out the house with just about everything we could need which was lovely. Only downside was no WiFi and very poor phone reception, but not a deal-breaker by any means. Better selection of DVDs would be one small suggestion, but otherwise a very enjoyable stay, thank you.

Cute and quirky property with lots of personal touches kept lovely and clean. Easy walk to the off lead dog park and town. We appreciated the kind touches like the bread and marmalade and the Christmas decorations!

We absolutely loved our short stay at Denham Cottage with our kelpie. Denise is lovely and check in was a breeze. The cottage is fully equipped and extremely comfortable. Fantastic location too. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great few days at Denham cottage. Despite the inconsistent weather we were able to get out and about to visit a few places like Bowral, Fitzroy Falls and the Bundanoon National Park lookouts. We were warm and cosy and enjoyed the pot-belly stove. Happily recommend this cottage for a welcome stay away from the city.

Very clean and friendly cottage. Even with very wet weather we found it an excellent spot to meet up with family for a special occasion. Very warm with the fire burning and spaces to separate and spread out. Absolutely everything we needed was provided. Thanks for a great break in such a beautiful setting.

We really loved our stay at Denham Cottage. The property was spotless clean and very comfortable . The size layout allowed us to all do our own thing and come together to have dinner or play board games or complete a puzzle . The bed were very comfortable and the outside gardens were a real pleasure for our dog. The kitchen had everything we needed for the weekend as well. The cottage reminded us holidays with family as kids, very cosy . The fireplace was a really nice feature as well. The pictures don’t do it justice !

Beautiful home and very lovely owner of the property

Very neat little cottage and welcoming. We did however run out of wood and gas on our last night of four. Other than that an overall very relaxing atmosphere.

Thank you for the hospitality Denise! The photos don't do this cottage justice, it truly was a beautiful piece of land and the cottage was so much cozier than depicted. Denise was extremely helpful and responsive, even giving us complimentary milk, bread and butter. The acreage was a fantastic place to bring our large dog for a decompression walk, where you just let them run free on a long line/off lead (only let them off leash if they have a reliable recall). Our golden retriever had so much fun! There's a beautiful fireplace and so many kitchen amenities and equipment (eg pie pans, mixing bowls, skewers etc) for cooking. The small village of Bundanoon was beautiful and so serene, the local shops are a must visit! Nothing was better than waking up to the beautiful surrounding nature, fresh natural air and relaxed atmosphere of the property and town. I definitely recommend this stay and will look to come back and recommend it to friends!

The cottage's location is well off the road with lovely natural outlook. Quiet yet close to Bundanoon. Cosy yet spacious room with great heating. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces (3) and comfortable beds. Undercover parking for 2 cars with flat access to entrance.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. It has a semi-rural outlook but is close to the Bundanoon village. The perfect size for two adults.

Lovely base for exploring the area & going for morning coffees in Bundanoon. Felt like we were in our grandmother’s home, a respite from the big city.

Denise was lovely, very easy check in process. The fire was lit to warm the cottage as we arrived in the evening. A loaf of bread and bottle of milk were lovely unexpected touches. Would definitely stay here again

This was a very comfortable cottage, very clean and all provided. It was quite close to other facilities that we wished to use.

Denham cottage is such a lovely, cosy residence situated on a beautiful property (Wallabies at breakfast!). Plenty of space to comfortably accommodate families (3 kids, 2 adults). The host Denise is so kind and thoughtful- an unexpected fresh loaf of bread, butter and milk on arrival. Fire lit and the cottage warmed up! Communication and check in was simple. Would highly recommend.
