Sea Breezes is an elegant waterfront house
Um Sea Breezes in seiner Gesamtheit zu sehen, sehen Sie sich unbedingt das Video ganz am Ende der Fotogalerie an. Sea Breezes, früher bekannt als Cohen Cottage, ist ein Cottage mit zwei Schlafzimmern direkt am Ufer mit drei Bädern. Ein Bad hat eine Dusche und eine Waschmaschine / Trockner; Einer hat eine Dusche für zwei Personen und der dritte ist eine Dusche für eine Person. Es gibt eine Kingsize-Suite im ersten Stock mit Flachbildfernseher und zwei Einzelbetten im Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss. Ein Schlafsofa steht im Wohnbereich für eine maximale Belegung von sechs Personen zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist nach Osten ausgerichtet, wodurch der Morgenkaffee auf dem Deck mit Blick auf das Wasser herrlich wird. Es gibt eine gemeinsame Anlegestelle mit zwei anderen Häusern mit Ruderboot und Tandem-Kajak am Wasser für unsere Mieter.

The experience we had at Sea Breezes was just what we needed and more than we hoped for ! We are so grateful for our stay with you and the thoughtfulness and care given to every detail of the space was much appreciated, it truly felt like a gift to all of us to be able to spend our vacation feeling pampered by our surroundings.

We loved this cottage! Very clean, and everything seemed new. Perfect for a relaxing stay for our family. The location was great! Enjoyed the view from the patio. We got great use of the binoculars that were provided as an eagle flew right over one morning, it was amazing to watch. We were 5 minutes from Bass harbor where we booked a fantastic fishing tour and The Seafood Ketch restaurant which was great!

We have rented various properties around MDI for the past 10 years, and Sea Breezes was the best.
Located in Tremont, the area is quiet and out of the crowded "Ellsworth - Bar Harbor" corridor. And even though we had longer car rides to the east side trails and attractions, the car rides were beautiful traveling through Mount Desert Island.
Locally, we found excellent restaurants around the Bass Harbor area, and a convenient IGA grocery store in Southwest Harbor. That said, we recommend buying groceries for the week in Ellsworth on your way in, for better variety and cheaper prices.
A unique feature of this house is that it is on the tidal bay, so every 6 hours you either see water or mud flats. We are "birders", so we enjoyed watching the birds feed at low tide, and enjoyed kayaking (with the complimentary kayaks) at high tide.
We had 3 adults, and the house was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The grounds around the house had hammocks, and had a "resort" feel. Very nice!
We had a few interactions with Stacy, and she was responsive, and quickly answered our questions.
We really enjoyed staying in Sea Breezes, and hope to return.

This property is the most thoughtfully and well appointed property we've stayed at thus far. The setting is private with well landscaped grounds and a beautiful view of the tidal cove that it's situated on. Very comfortable accommodations for 4 adults. All of the amenities you could ask for including kayaks. Great location, very convenient to Southwest Harbor. Hopefully coming back next year.

Great family trip with my Dad, Wife and 5 yr old son. The house had a great setting on the water with easy access to the shared dock. Our son loved checking on the tides each day. House is well provisioned with lots of windows and grounds are very well kept. Would highly recommend this house.

My husband I loved staying here with our two young kids (6 and 20 months). The property is beautiful and well maintained - our kids loved the hammocks and dock and we loved how private it felt. The home is well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The blackout shades in the bedrooms were a nice added touch with our toddler. Stacy was very responsive both before and during our stay. We will definitely return when we book another trip to MDI.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and all of the amenities. Echoing the cleanliness mentioned by others. Very bright and spacious for our group of 6 (3 adults and 3 young children). We were able to explore everything we wanted to on MDI from here and would highly recommend to anyone for future bookings.

The house was very clean and well organized, bright and sunny with spacious spaces. Best part: well-stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, TP, TV options (Netflix, etc.) - even books and games. Great location and very private.

This is a very cute little cottage located in Southwest Harbor. It is located in the quiet little village of Bass Harbor. The area is nice and quiet (what we wanted) but Southwest Harbor is only 10 minutes away with several little shops and restaurants. Bar harbor is about 25 minutes away with a lot of choices but a lot busier. It's also a very easy drive into Acadia NP. The property is very clean, up to date, and well maintained. Stacy got right back to us with tips and recommendations. Highly recommended for a couple or small family exploring the park or vacationing in the Bar Harbor area.

Really enjoyed our time - the views are amazing and it's a very quiet location. We saw bald eagles catching their breakfast, kayaked up and down the cove, and ate at the nearby lobster pounds. Close to Southwest Harbor and not too far from Bar Harbor and Acadia. Plenty of space for our family of four to spread out. Property manager was responsive and very accommodating.

Absolutely gorgeous home right on Bass Harbor. The house was perfect for our family of 4 (including two teens). It was hard to leave that deck with amazing views of the tidal changes in Bass Harbor. Very well stocked…and super comfortable beds. We will be back for sure!

Just Perfect
I don’t want to say too many nice things for fear that this place will be booked the next time we visit Maine. For our family this house was absolutely perfect (2 adults, 4 kids 10 and under). Located on the quiet side of the island it was well away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, but an easy 30 minute drive to Acadia and the more touristy areas. The house was extremely well stocked and we very much enjoyed the large yard, hammocks, and kayaks provided. We even kayaked over to Archie’s for lobster rolls.

What an amazing stay! Beautiful gardens, well-appointed kitchen with attention to details, beautiful views, super clean and comfortable... and wonderful hosts. A trip we will never forget. We look forward to staying here again and again!

Great Property
The house was immaculate. It is a great place to be near the Bar Harbor region but far enough away from he hussle & bustle for a relaxing vaca.. Sitting on the deck overlooking the bay every morning with a cup of coffee was a pleasure. Stacy was very responsive to our few questions. My overall rating of 4 vs 5 is only due to that fact that dock was not set up yet so we were unable to enyoy the kayaks.. it was early May so this is to be expected but a note on the listing stating when the dock gets set up would be good. I highly recommend Sea Breezes for a relaxing vaca in a great house!

Delightful Seabreezes Cottage
The Seabreezes Cottage was the perfect place to stay to explore all that Mount Desert Island and Acadia NP have to offer. The cottage is in a perfect location if you like to be away from the crowds. On a gorgeous quiet cove of Bass Harbor yet so close to many activities in and around Southwest Harbor and Tremont. This was our second trip to the Quiet Side of the Island and we so enjoyed our stay at Seabreezes. The cottage is wonderfully appointed - such pretty artwork and decor along with everything you could think of to stock a kitchen. Because dining out was so difficult this year, we did cook in quite a bit and so enjoyed having everything we needed at our finger tips. What a perfect place to relax after a busy day of exploring Acadia and surroundings. Thanks so much to Stacy and family for being such wonderful hosts. We hope to return one day soon.

Peaceful, spacious quiet location but close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia attractions.
Roomy and comfortable home on an interesting tidal waterfront. Kayaks at the home provided great daily exercise and exploratory fun features around the various coves and waterways. Close to many local lobster pounds: Charlotte's, Beal's and Thurston's to name a few and Archie's lobster roll food truck was right across the lake. Enjoyed visits to nearby cute Southwest Harbor town , Bass Harbor head Lighthouse, Swan's Island Ferry and of course Bar Harbor but the home itself had all you need to relax and decompress. Well equipped kitchen with outdoor gas grill for home cooking with nice back deck for morning coffee and sunrises and outdoor meals. The gardens and landscaping were unexpected bonuses and provided beautiful floral oases complete with hummingbirds, herons, hawks and even bald eagles, simply amazing! The upstairs bedroom & bath was a perfect separate space for our young adult who found the spiral staircase a fun feature and the large, upscale washer & dryer came in handy for our daily hiking clothes. Overall, a lovely experience!

Amazing stay!!
We could not be more pleased with this vacation and house. The house was very clean and was wonderfully stocked. May be a little far from the park for some but for us it was perfect. We enjoyed the drive and it allowed us to get familiar with the area. We had fun kayaking at high tide and the kids loved playing in the mud and looking for shells during low tide. The grounds of the property made you feel like you were in a resort. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the eagle and falcons. My daughter and I planned a trip back in 7 years so we can climb the Beehive :)

We loved staying right on the edge of the water, and the kids enjoyed digging in the mud to look for critters during low tide. The house was comfortable and clean with beautiful views from the windows and deck. The property was lovely too with lush plantings and hammocks to enjoy. Stacy was responsive and helpful when we reached out to her.

Just Perfect!
We loved this house! Spacious and airy with wonderful light throughout. Quiet, relaxing, and very comfortable. Amenities were all great, including laundry. The outdoor space was lovely, with beautiful and thoughtful touches to discover. The kayaking was spectacular. We hope to return!

BWARE! No A/C in 2nd bedroom.
Mid summer temps in early June necessitated air conditioning for the first 5 days of our stay. The cottage had a brand new central system. The problem was there was none for the second bedroom. We had to go and buy a portable unit. When I contacted the owner he came over and said it is air conditioned by reversing a ceiling fan and pulling the lower level cool air up through the door to the room. Impossible. The room was over 90 degrees at bedtime until after two days of suffering and no sleep we purchased the portable unit. He summarily dismissed our dilemma and ignored our offer to keep the A/C unit for what we paid for It thereby guaranteeing the same issue for all subsequent guests. He said he was an expert with air conditioning. Obviously not so.
