Condo was excellent. Don’t let parking deceive you, the secondary is right across the street and the street is not busy at all. Very close to Myrtle and Murrells inlet. Beach less busy as well. Beach is literally right out back door!

The property was as advertised. We had one issue when we first got in but a text sent to the owner had it fixed the next day. The views from the balcony are spectacular!!the kitchen was well stocked with any cooking items we needed for any meals prepared. The only thing missing (and it’s a big deal for me) is an electric tea kettle!

This condo was wonderful for myself and my 2 kids! The rooms were very spacious the kitchen had everything that we could need and the view was amazing! The 4th floor was perfect for seeing everything on the beach. We had such a great stay 😊

The condo was great! We loved how close it was to the beach. Just a short walk down a ramp and out to the water. The balcony is great and the grand kids loved sitting out there and looking at the water. The condo was big enough for our family and we had lots of wonderful family time.

We had a wonderful time! The beach was literally a few steps away! If we weren’t on the beach, we were enjoying it from our beautiful balcony! The unit was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The property, while a little old, was secure and well kept and had a helpful staff. We hope to book this very year because we truly found a good one!

We had a few TV/Cable issues, but the on site staff was very responsive to our needs; and provided a resolution. Fabulous spot on the beach! We had a great family vacation!!!

Loved it so much! Loved the view and comfortableness of the condo . The mattress in double bed room made creaky sounds and the door does not shut completely. The water heater made loud noises after showers, dishwasher and washer was used. It was a little difficult to find regular tv stations on main tv for this media delayed person. Otherwise loved it

The first few nights I slept nearest the street. The stairwell doors are hard to open and were slammed numerous times waking me up. A hydraulic hinge would help with this. I also learned that there was only one working elevator and the 2nd one had been inoperative since last year. A real inconvenience.

Room 403 was great! Kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils. But it was great having the extra beverage cooler. The building was good. Only having 1 elevator was not so good but they worked really well on Saturday checkin day to keep it flowing. The gentleman that worked the night shift tall blonde hair man was awesome and very nice. HOPEFULLY this elevator thing wil be FIXED by next summer.

The Location was perfect. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the cleanliness was because the only working elevator was dirty and the stairway. This was not an issue of the condo though it was an issue with the building. The 2nd elevator was out which made a huge process to get to your condo or back to the ground floor. The wait was so long. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. They have a huge parking area which is a plus compared to all the other rentals in the area. The overflow parking across the street was only monitored one day which was the 4th of July. The rest of our week the parking lot was full of cars with no parking passes. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, condo was as described, amazing communication with itrip vacations, and a lot of memories made. Thank you

This was our first long-term rental (4 weeks). Although the condo was as pictured, it had many unseen issues: poor wifi/cable, outdated electric, very poor televisions-instructions. It could be fabulous with updates and new decor-very lacking in comfort items such as hooks in the bathrooms, rugs, and storage. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable but the guest room beds were just ok. As many others in MB, the building suffered storm damage and was being renovated (1 elevator, painting etc). However, the building staff were very friendly and responsive.
Communication with the management company for the owner was frustrating because they did not seem to be on the same page with each other or the building management (ie door codes, notice of entrance to our unit for building-wide wifi and then failure to notify us of the new access codes).
Despite our issues, the view and beach access was fantastic and the area was uncrowded. We will come back but will try to rent direct.

We had a wonderful week at Atalaya. It is directly oceanfront with wide open views uncluttered by other buildings. The management group was very responsive and took care of a minor issue immediately. Highly recommend!

So close to the water
This condo was wonderful for our family to stay in while on vacation. The condo is in a great location. We were able to go back and forth between the pool and the beach easily. It was very convenient with little ones to go in for a nap. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The bedrooms were big enough for pack-n-plays for little ones. Overall we loved it and would book to stay again another time.

Dishes in cupboard were dirty, some of bowls had red sauce on them as well as some dirty silverware. All remotes just in big pile on shelf, so had no clue as to which remote went for what TV in each room. TV in the one double bed room that was on wall, if laying in bed couldn't even see TV, was in a very bad placed spot. Small bar sink near kitchen area faucet water goes all over when turned on. For the price paid condo not very well maintained.

The balcony was wonderful but it was not clean, had to buy can opener, pot holders, etc to use in the kitchen. There was a can opener but it was broken. The unit was not clean and one of the beds creaked with the slightest pressure and woke everyone in the room anytime someone moved in that bed. Unfortunately it was the bedroom with two full beds and both were being used. The nightly fireworks right behind our condo and well after 11:00 kept everyone awake until they were over. Attempted to talk with on site management about it several times, but they just shrugged. And we were given the wrong code to the building and therefore locked our until a sweet young man came along and let us in - and told us the correct code.

Not worth the money.
Overall, our stay was just OKAY. The location of the condo and view from the balcony was nothing short of amazing, but that's it. Upon entering the condo, I immediately got Motel 6 vibes based on the musty hotel smell that would not go away. It was obvious that the condo had NOT been thoroughly cleaned for the next guests (us). The bedroom with the 2 double beds had a stain of some sort on the pillow sham. Unfortunately, the listing photos do not give a true representation of the outdated and poor quality of the bed linens. The same bedroom has a picture (Polaroid to be exact) on the mirror of an very beautiful woman and an adorable child. The bedroom had not been updated since that photo which I presume is very old. Just about every corner of the condo had hair/dirt which had not been touched when the condo was "cleaned". Every (and I mean every) piece of furniture in the condo obviously had not been replaced in years. It was the most uncomfortable sleep I have ever had, which was very disappointing especially on vacation. The mattresses were VERY noisy to the point it would occasionally wake my sleeping 2 year old. Maybe no one thought to clean the furniture and dining chair cushions, there were stains everywhere. The dishes were not cleaned as there was old food on just about every other item and old lipstick/lipgloss stains on some of the glasses. In this Covid environment, this was very unsettling. We ended purchasing paper cups/plates. One of the barstools was very wobbly and unsafe and was moved into a closet out of fear it would collapse. If you look closely at the photo of the living room, you can see the neglected dust around the ceiling fan...this was every room. For the amount of money we paid for the week, it was very disappointing to have to stay in a unkept condo. This condo has so much potential but is in need of major renovation, new furniture and serious cleaning. Thankfully the summer season is over and updates will hopefully be made for next season. Overall, OKAY condo if don't care about quality or cleanliness.

waste of money
we paid a nice fee for the unit , after driving 13 hours we have to find the office to get the key, we leave there and go to the condo , we can't get in , the door lock was broken. so we call after a couple more hours we are finally able to get in, the place was dirty. toilets didn't work , exhaust fan in the front bathroom didn't work and was missing cover . the manager did by our dinner to help with the inconvenience of not being able to get in after a 13 hour drive . also did not have sheets for pull out couch and had to wait for those to be delivered before everyone was able to go to bed. My wife has used VRBO several times ,but this was a waste of money. We were schedule to stay until Saturday , we left on Thursday. We definitely won't be back pictures are not an accurate display of how the place actually looks

Atalaya Towers 403
Atalaya Towers was a nice place the beach access was perfect and the pool areas very nice, however our condo was a disappointment.
Unit 403 needs a very large dose of TLC. The patio door was very hard to open and close, the clothes dryer sounded like it was on its
last leg. Many things need replacing ranging from shower rods to carpet. I will say the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and we did have a nice vacation despite our disappointment . I don't expect luxury but I do expect clean and well maintained when I spend my hard earned money.

Excellent family getaway!
This vacation spot was perfect for our family getaway. I took my parents, my son, and my furry dog-son for a week to Garden City. We have stayed in Myrtle Beach in the past, but this little spot in Garden City is a hidden treasure. The location was perfect for us! The pier, as well as local shops and restaurants, were a 1/2 mile away. The area was less congested, and it made for a very nice morning drive to the local diner to get coffee. This 3 bedroom condo had more than enough room for us. The room was clean upon arrival and our check-in process was smooth. Perfect view from the Ocean, it wasn't too low that your view was obstructed, but it was too high where you felt funny looking over the balcony. It was just right! I spent every evening on the balcony once the family went to bed just listening to the waves and gazing out into the ocean and at the moon! Overall, fantastic trip! Thank you!!!

Absolutely Wonderful
My family and I loved staying here for our vacation this year. The condo was beautiful, with an amazing view of the ocean. I highly recommend anyone to stay here for your next vacation getaway. My family and I will be returning again.

Doesn't look like the pictures on the site!
Very outdated. The king size mattress on the bed was uneven to lay on and very uncomfortable. Both of the sliding glass doors to the balcony worked very hard, the tracks on the doors were just wore out. The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms stopped working. Also there was food under the furniture in the living room when we got there and the glass coffee table had not been cleaned. The rangehood underneath was disgusting and the air vent had a ton of dust on them. Some of the kitchen cabinets doors were broken. On a positive note, the views were great and the chairs on the balcony were great. Wasn't at all what I was expecting for paying $400 a day. Will not be back.
