This is on the middle fork of Rock creek which is smaller then rock creek itself, but the fishing was still very good. Enjoyed the fire pit.

Wonderful experience in all aspects. Very nice home on a wonderful property. Excellent location near many blue ribbon trout waters and scenic hiking trails. Close to shopping in Philipsburg but far enough away to be quiet, peaceful, and private. Sydney and Ray are awesome. We would definitely stay a third time.

This property was awesome. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and fish. Plenty of trout and plenty of large fish. A 20” brown was caught by a first time fly fisher. Definitely will be back next year.

The house was beautiful and very cozy. The view from the kitchen was unbeatable. I don’t want to mention how good the fishing was, because a fisherman never reveals their secrets, but it was great. We scooted in just before runoff started, and we snagged cutthroats from the creek frontage on the property. Exactly what we had hoped for. Also the gift card to the brewery was a great touch. Thank you Hideaway! We loved our time there!

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin on Rock Creek. First of all, the pictures do not do this place justice. The cabin itself is larger and more beautiful in-person. Lots of thoughtful amenities in the kitchen, very comfortable beds, and large safe spaces for our 6 and 8 year old kids to play. They enjoyed the selection of games while we enjoyed local brews around the fireplace. Second, the river access...wow! Several great holes right on the property producing 17+ inch cutthroats every time. We all had a blast fishing and the kids had just as much fun making forts in the woods along the river. Third, Sydney, the rental manager, was super responsive to all of our questions/requests. I felt like we were in good hands. Fourth, we had fun exploring the Rock Creek canyon from this location as well as the town of Philipsburg. You can't beat the candy shop! Unfortunately, most of the restaurants were closed during our mid-week/off-season stay (a heads up for others!) but the Mexican restaurant was delicious. We also had a fun time looking for gems in rough at the Gem Mountain location downtown. In all, we had a wonderful time and are looking forward to visiting the area (and maybe this rental!) again in the future.

My fishing buddies and I stayed at the Hideaway last year and loved it, so we booked it again this year--and loved it even more. Perfect location with private frontage on a very productive stretch, with an easy drive to other smaller streams in the area, as well as the upper part of Rock Creek. Luxurious lodging with a fully-equipped kitchen. Easy drive to Philipsburg. If you stay up (and it isn't smoky), you'll see the full panoply of stars in the sky.

Our family of four stayed for two weeks in early August. The property is very nice. The house is top notch. The interiors are very nicely done. The location is close to Philipsburg for shopping but also feels like you are in the mountain wilderness. The Middle Fork Rock Creek which runs through the property is an excellent fishery. We saw lots of wildlife within a short drive from the house including elk, moose, big horn sheep, mule deer, bald eagles, and more. Sydney was really responsive and super friendly. Ray was very nice and helpful. The property is a short drive from Rock Creek (a blue ribbon trout stream), hiking, and other great activities. We loved our time at this property so much we already booked another two week stay next summer. Highly recommended.

The property is excellent! 8 of us stayed there and the property is so nicely done and a great place to stay. The quality of the house is very nice and the Middle Fork of Rock Creek fishes like a champ. Sydney and Ray where very helpful and helped as needed with our stay. I would recommend this home and I would happily stay here again.

Stayed here last year and loved the place so came back this year. Fun time playing outside games and relaxing with a good book. Nice just listening to the River. Drove up to Moose lake. Beautiful area all around. Fun walking around Philipsburg. Cute little town. Hope to be back next year. Start of a fun tradition.

This property is absolutely incredible! The house was immaculate and perfectly decorated. In addition to that, it was beautifully organized and offered towels and bed linens. There were so many welcoming gestures upon arrival that made us feel so special. This is perfect for someone who loves the outdoors but also wants a beautiful and luxurious rustic feel. We went outside at 1:30 AM to see the stars and it was mesmerizing. I can go on and on but you have to see it for yourself. Thank you and we hope to visit again!

A great place to relax and get together with friends prior to some heading south for the winter. The kitchen allows for several cooks at the same time. The living room is large enough for everyone to watch TV or there are separate areas to have a little away time to read or have a conversation away from the football game. The master bed room and bathroom you will never want to leave.

The fishing lodge is large and spacious. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes and pans. The best part, of course, is the location, right on the Middle Fork of Rock Creek, which runs entirely through private land and is inaccessible otherwise. There is some excellent fishing for native cutthroats right outside your door, and it's only a mile or so to the confluence of the various tributaries to form Rock Creek. It takes only about 20 minutes to drive to Philipsburg if you need anything. Highly recommended. My fishing buddies and I hope to return next year.

The lodge is beautiful. Had fun walking, fishing, playing games, and spending time relaxing. Perfect place!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin is spacious, feels fresh & updated, with lots of windows to view the river and beautiful mountain backdrop. Would stay again.

Nice big place to stay if wanting to fish around Rock Creek and other streams.

The property was quite nice. The area was great for fishing even though the water was high and rapid. The views were wonderful. There are some items that would be very helpful if they were at the property.

We had a fabulous time !! Skied at Discovery, Cross Country Skied around the Lodge, dined and relaxed while enjoying the beautiful countryside. It doesn’t get any better than that.
