Great place to stay while visiting our War Eagle son!

A Wonderful house and location for us to enjoy Lake Martin. Being Dog friendly made it special. Spectacular view. Nice Air conditioning and amenities. Highly recommend for family get together.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the home was convenient and the boat dock was great. They also had a lily pad in the water that we were able to use. The home had everything we needed as far as space, kitchen conveniences, bathroom towels, etc. The only challenges we had were the driveway and the boat ramp on the property. We were hoping to launch our 23’ bay boat from the property, but the driveway and boat ramp were too steep. The parking area had a lot of river rocks on it which made it difficult to drive on and maneuver with the boat trailer. Having said that, there is a close public boat ramp that was easy quick to drive to where we were able to launch from. Overall, great home.

We had a wonderful time using your home for our sons Auburn graduation weekend….what a perfect home - clean, spacious and decorated just right - we highly recommend this home!

Family trip for Easter weekend and was a lovely experience. House and amenities were spot on. The property is beautiful. Our favorite part of the trip was the fire pit in the evening.

This beautiful home on Lake Martin was a delight. The views were incredible with wonderful full moons every night. The kitchen was excellent and was supplied with everything we needed and could have possibly wanted. The beds were very comfortable and we each had our own bathroom which was really nice. The grounds were impeccable and very dog friendly, even though our little dog didn't take up much space. We would definitely recommend to anyone who loves the lake as much as we do. I must say, the #1 reason I booked this cabin is because it fit our needs…but a very close #2 (maybe even #1 1/2) was the response to the ONE negative review this property received. We had 6 grown adults, one teenager, and DOGS. We never felt like there wasn’t enough space or amenities to meet our needs. We cooked the entire time, the kitchen was larger than we needed, the supplies were not in any shortage. Plenty of wine glasses, plates, and coffee cups to take care of us and the neighbors!!! The fire pit was delightful and they even provided wood. The house was clean, welcoming, and more than we hoped for. It was exactly the long weekend our family needed. They made everything easy, from check in to check out. Someone stated that the owners communication was non-existent. Honestly, they made everything so accessible, I cannot even imagine what you would need to ask! The one question I asked about an early check in was answered immediately and so was the response when I checked in. They really covered ALL bases in the ad, and on arrival. The space was so great for the dogs who are the true masters after all! Easy gates, doggy door, even bags to clean up after them. Thank you for sharing your home, we would love for everyone to have the experience we had. This space is too good not to share…the view, the house, the ease….you cannot put a price on coming together in a space that makes relaxing EASY. Happy New Year 2023, cheers!

The house and property are beautiful. We enjoyed our time this week. I would definitely stay here again. This was a trip to relax with my boys after college and high school finals. It was.perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

This house on Lake Martin is absolutely the best VRBO home we have ever stayed in for vacation. My husband and I, along with my elderly mother and other family members stayed for the week of Thanksgiving. From the time we arrived we were in awe of this house. In the past we had a family home on Lake Martin and this home was a perfect substitute. The lake view is incredible and the house has been renovated perfectly. There is a large firepit that we enjoyed on a couple of cold nights and they provide a woodpile for your use! All of the beds were very comfortable according to our family and there is more than enough bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, kitchen cookware, utensils, salt, pepper, sugar, other spices as well as a rack of Keurig coffee pods so that you really don't need to bring much of anything! Even though we had brought some, they even provide doggy poop bags! Our 2 Golden Retrievers enjoyed the fenced in grassy side yard that was open to the side and front deck. the deck was closed off with a sliding gate so they couldn't escape. It was so convenient. The property manager, Summer was immediately accessible by text and the only problem we had was the login to the internet that had changed but she immediately solved the problem. We LOVED this house and highly recommend it and we hope to stay again soon.

Thank you for a wonderful visit! Your home is beautifully appointed, and you’ve thought of every detail. The dock, fire pit and landscaping are outstanding. The location couldn’t be better and is less than ten minutes by boat to the closest marina. On top of the excellent accommodations the lake did not disappoint. We were fortunate enough to watch two bald eagles soar by during our stay! Thank you for sharing your home. It provided a relaxing getaway! 5/5 stars

Beautiful home with perfect accommodations. This is an amazing get away. Very thoughtful touches throughout the home to make your stay so easy and enjoyable. The views from the back deck were just incredible each morning. Host was very quick to communicate before and during. If you can, bring a boat! Beautiful sunset view just around the corner and it’s perfect from the water. Loved the Lilly pad in the water - just the right touch for keeping cool while relaxing outside. Kitchen had everything you need - we cooked every meal. Plenty of towels for the bathroom so you’re not doing laundry 24/7. Note: bring your own beach towels; they dry perfectly in the sun on the back deck. The kids have asked me to book now for the same time next year they absolutely loved this and said it’s better than the beach!

My friends and kids loved everything about this place and the big lake views, swimming, and dock to tie up to!

This house is nicely updated and has the PERFECT view. Our family will definitely be back. A plus was that it was so dog friendly!

Pleasant and comfortable home. Beds comfortable, and view gorgeous. We had a trash situation but it was quickly resolved once I reported the situation. You will get a work out walking back and forth to boat dock but most houses on the lake are elevated. Yard well kept and clean. It had all the items we needed. The weather was unpredictable but that’s something your can’t control. Very dog friendly- fenced area , getting up to the house was hairy due to slope of drive and loose gravel. If u plan to bring a boat, I would suggest u use the public boat landing about 1.5 miles from the house. Suggestions: provide a vacuum cleaner, I always vacuum prior to checking out, an area in fenced yard beside steps needs some attending to, a small fur ball get split under the fence Due to limited access to grocery stores, unless u want to drive 15 miles, except dollar general I suggest u plan what u will need Restaurants that we ate at had good service and food- most were not open open daily We would return. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home

The house was beautiful and perfect to sleep our crew. We had friends down the road renting a home and they came to our house every night for dinner because the views were so great! The boat launch & driveway have a very steep hill at the house. So people with bigger boats will struggle putting the boat in at the house. Thanks for sharing your lake house for the week with us!

Beautiful home with an amazing view!! We had 2 adults with 4 teenagers + fur baby and felt like we had plenty of room. We had such a great time and hope to return soon.

We do a family rental every year and I can say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed this years! The house fit us well! Plenty of room and loved the outdoors! Best view of lake ever!!

My family & I were so blessed to find this jewel on Lake Martin. We were in town fory daughters graduation from Auburn & being able to share that accomplishment w/ my family at such a beautiful place just put icing on the cake!! Very nice place to stay. Gorgeous view of water and kid bunk room was a hit. The check in had a slight glitch, but once I called it was completely fixed so we could get in. Highly recommend as owners and property manager both were extremely quick to help & respond.

Beautiful property. Well maintained yard and the deck and gates to the dog yard are a huge plus along with the doggy door. Nighttime fire pit was amazing. The new updates to the interior don’t miss a beat! Loved the cozy rustic but modern feel! Definitely will be back!

Our family of 5 adults, 2 children & 2 dogs (standard poodles) stayed here over the New Year's holiday weekend & I can't stress enough how GREAT our stay here at this property was! It was just perfect for spending time together with our adult children & 2 grandbabes. Our dogs were also in doggy heaven & we really appreciate your planning for & allowing dogs. The accommodations were top notch. Inside it was nicely decorated, comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. The views from inside were awesome but best of all were the views from the deck, boat dock, & fire pit. Speaking of the fire pit, we absolutely loved our time spent there at night sitting around the fire, talking, sipping on cocktails, and listening to music. It was so peaceful, quiet, & soooo.... relaxing!!! We didn't want to leave & we look forward to renting this place again during the summer. Also if you ever think of selling... let us know! :) Will highly recommend to everyone! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The house is awesome as is the lake view. In my opinion it does not adequately sleep 10 people, 8 maximum. Communication with owners is very difficult to non existent. If it sleeps 10 it would be nice to have more than 4 wine glasses. Upside, the house is great and the lake view can’t be beat

We loved this house and the location on the water!! It was perfect for what my husband and I needed and wanted!! We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the fire pit!! Just beautiful! We hope to stay there again!

This is our second time at this beautiful home. We didn't think it was possible to improve upon our first visit, but the upgrades made by Kathryn & her family are just WONDERFUL. You want for nothing in this home. It is beautifully decorated, has a well-stocked kitchen for cooking and best of all, has breathtaking unobstructed views of the lake. Nothing to do but read, meditate & relax. Plus, of course, we are so grateful our fur babies could join us. They loved the doggie door, the fenced yard, but most of all, they loved the long walks with their humans who couldn't get enough of the gorgeous fall colors! We look forward to returning.
