Nice quiet relaxing vacation. the scenery from every room was stunning. Home was tastefully updated and decorated. The house is just like the pictures. Highly recommend if you like being up in the forest to enjoy nature.

Fun and clean place to stay at.

Our stay was nice. Not much happened so it was exactly what I was looking for. Going from triple digit temps to 70’s was great. The neighborhood was quite and relaxing. The cabin could use some upgrades but we managed to make everything work for us.
3.0
The property does not accommodate 8-10 people, maybe 5-6 max. BBQ was filthy and took 30 minutes to clean so we could use it. Kitchen supplies were minimal and required turning on the dishwasher after every meal in order to have enough silverware and serving bowls. Third bathroom required going down a ladder or outside to access it which was not possible for some guests. Not somewhere I would stay in the summer. There is no AC and it was 85-90 degrees at bedtime causing sleepless nights. There are only beds for 6 people so one of our guest had to sleep on a couch. Shower curtains fell down frequently. The DVD player did not work. Inside the houses was clean. Games room was well stocked with games and books. Coffee maker was a big hit. Neighborhood was perfect and close to beaches and hiking trails. Lots of parking on the property. Nice hot tub.

The location in Tahoe can’t be beat. The back deck and hot tub are awesome, Cabin is nice and cozy for two families.

We came up for a long weekend with family and had a great time. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us (6 adults and 2 kids 1&3). The cabin was exactly as we expected, it was clean, well maintained and very cozy. The kitchen had everything you would need including a Nespresso and Keurig coffee maker. You can sled ride in the back yard or just another 100 yards and there is groomed trails that you can walk or sled. We were there on Super Bowl weekend and we were able to stream it on their Wi-Fi. The check in and check out process was very easy. We will definitely go back.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this pet friendly rental! We will return.

Nicely updated decor with new and modern appliances. Lots of space in the kitchen for cooking and a huge dining table for big group meals. Comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms. Bonus game room downstairs adds lots of extra space, but requires going up and down a ladder as shown in photos. The upstairs shower is also pretty small, but recently renovated.

My family had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin. We came up for a ski weekend and particularly enjoyed the close proximity to the mountain and the hot tub on the deck. The cabin was very clean,
comfortable, and nicely decorated. Check-in was super easy, and Amelia was very communicative. We would love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean and cozy. Kitchen is very clean and functional. Nice long kitchen table to gather around. Bathrooms are a bit small and one bedroom door is tough to open and close, making for noise when others are sleeping. Great to have a hill behind the house for sledding and playing. Close to an amazing trail! Thank you!

The perfect cabin for a cozy, close-quarters getaway. Location is perfect near Northstar and Truckee with Tahoe City close by for groceries. Hot tub with the string lights was the perfect way to start or end any day and the living room sofa is a great one to accidentally fall asleep on. My wife and I certainly plan to be back with friends for a ski week.

Really comfortable and cute details to this A-frame cabin in the woods. We were there for Thanksgiving wend, the kitchen was great, it offered everything needed to prepare large meals. We especially loved the privacy of the hot tub w forest views for after skiing! We will return! ❤️

Sweet cabin. Beautiful access to nature right out the back. Cabin is perfectly nestled and hugged by big pine trees (nutures my soul). Splendid decks front and back. The icing? Hot Tub up on deck under the stars! Easy acces to tub from back door off kitchen. Thoroughly appreciated this sweet find!

This property is exactly as described! It’s clean, comfortable, well stocked, and just the right amount of “funky”! My favorite part are the trails right out the back door… my Dogs were in heaven! We loved the hot tub after long days of hiking or golfing. The Host was incredible. There was a major glitch that she had no control over (power company stuff) and she went waaay out of her way to make it right. I’d do it again… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was our first visit in Lake Tahoe and we were pleased and excited about all the outdoor activities that we experienced. When it's time to decompress and relax, our stay in the cabin was much needed. It was the right amount of space for family of 10. We enjoyed the trail outside the backyard and our kids definitely explored the vicinity.
A few suggestions to make the stay a little bit more comfortable are to provide fans in the upstairs twin bed room, the room by the kitchen, and the gameroom during the summer seasons. It got really uncomfortable sleeping at night when the air was warm. In addition, the bathrooms did not have bath rugs. This may seem to be a small issue but the pools of water gathered on the floor is a big safety concern.
Overall, a wonderful home to stay in and a very impressive communication with Amelia.

We were visiting Lake Tahoe for our 15 year anniversary. This house was the perfect place to stay.
It’s location was great and the amenities were perfect. We would stay there again if we decide to visit the area again.

We loved staying here.
Such a cute stay. Very close to everything we needed. The couch can fit a million people and we all lounged on it. The host was very easy to communicate with us and very accommodating. Thank you!

This beautiful property is classy and elegant, and perfectly located at the edge of the national forest. We loved hiking and playing in the snow, and lounging in the hot tub. Amelia was easy to communicate with and was very gracious about allowing us to stay a bit longer on check out day. Not sure if this is listed, but it would be good to note that there is a vertical ladder (like on a ship) to access the game room.

Perfect Lil Cabin
Could not have been happy with our stay at this cabin. Great sled hill for the littles (and adults) and love that you can do so exploring right off the backyard. The house was super cozy and very well thought out. Can’t wait to come back

2nd time stay - great as the first time!
We stayed for a 2nd time and enjoyed it every bit as the first time. Very comfortable house with 3 good sized bedrooms with comfy beds (mattress, pillows, linens, etc), warm and cozy with gas fireplace, and wonderful overall location with proximity to the Rim trail and the Tahoe XC trails. Once again we appreciated being able to ski and snowshoe right out the back door (with our dogs too which is a bonus). Easy and responsive communications with Amelia.

Lovely stay. Went snowing shoeing from the back deck.
Can't beat skiing followed by a soak in the hot tub under the stars. The cabin was lovely and thoughtfully laid out to comfortably fit 6 adults. Would stay there again.

Minor inconveniences, but overall a lovely home!
Had everything we needed - humans and dog enjoyed our stay. Hot tub was a little too hot, was hard to cool it down, and backyard had a ton of dog poop from dogs in neighboring houses, but otherwise a great house and enjoyable stay!

I absolutely loved this property. It was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and the people were friendly. The house was clean , well stocked and very comfortable. There were even groomed trails in the woods behind the house that made walking our Siberian Husky super convenient. The hot tub was heavenly. The host was kind enough to allow a late checkout on short notice which was greatly appreciated.😀 I would definitely rent this house again.

The house had everything we wanted: hot tube, fireplace, well stocked kitchen. Our stay was very comfortable and fun. Our kids are over 15 years of age, so the game room was not very exciting to them and we didn't use it.

Amelia has been more than hospitable as we’ve dealt with this huge snow storm during our stay (including bringing us a slow cooker and accommodating our need to stay longer due to road closures). The house is adorable and though it’s a bit tight with 4 adults and 5 kids, every area is very well utilized/designed to maximize the space. We’d definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay in a winter wonderland!!!
My family had a wonderful stay in Amelia’s property in Carnelian Bay. We arrived after Mother Nature had dumped 7 feet of snow so it was beautiful with all the trees covered with snow. Sitting in the hot tub staring out at the pure white scenery was ‘chefs kiss’. Everyone had a great time.

Charming Chalet
Very darling cabin, great location, close to trails and hot tub overlooking the woods and string of light was lovely.
The downside is that it was a little tight for 7 of us.
