Emerald Point Cabin: 2 Master-Suiten, jede mit einem großen Schlafzimmer mit Fenstern mit Blick auf Emerald Point (eine kleine Halbinsel, die an drei Seiten von Wasser umgeben ist), einem eigenen Eingang zur abgeschirmten Veranda, einem großen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und einem luxuriösen Badezimmer. Jede Suite bietet Platz für 4 Personen. Die professionelle Edelstahlküche verfügt über einen 5-Flammen-Gasherd mit "lila" Heißluftofen und gefiltertem Trinkwasserhahn. Die Küche mit Blick auf das Wohnzimmer ist mit bequemen rutschfesten Möbeln ausgestattet (zwischen den Gästen gewaschen!), ein wunderschöner Steinkamin und eine abgeschirmte Veranda. In naher Zukunft werden 4 weitere Kabinen auf demselben Grundstück verfügbar sein, perfekt für große Gruppen und Events!

We had a great time! I brought my 12 year old son and his friend here for the weekend. The fishing is great! The house was very clean and came with most everything you need! Very peaceful and beautiful atmosphere! The host was very helpful and caring.

Great getaway for adults who wants the quiet & pre teeens that likes nature. Overall an enjoyable experience for the family.

We brought our 4 and 6 y/o boys out for a weekend - enjoyed the peace and quiet. The camp is spacious and comfortable and amenities are great. It had canoe, kayaks even for the kids and all the paddles and life jackets. Our 6 y/o learned to paddle a kayak all on his own. The lake is beautiful-trees and shade. We enjoyed s’mores on the fire pit as well!! Great weekend!

Our family always goes to the beach for vacation but wanted to try something different this year. Boy, am I so glad that we did.
Our stay was so relaxing and quiet. Watching and listening to nature as the sun came up was amazing. And if you like watching the sun come up you should definitely see it going down.
We enjoyed canoeing and fishing from the boat house (even though we only caught a tiny minnow) :).
The property is far enough away to feel as if you are alone but close enough to many activities in town.
We visited the aquarium, water park, alligator farm, shopping, and many museums and never drove over 30 minutes to get to them.
We were able to commune with nature and visit with each other without outside distractions.
The property had all the comforts of home. Jennifer is a fabulous host and was very attentive to any concerns we had (we didn't have any but she checked). I look forward to visiting her place again in the near future.
As beautiful as it was during the summer I bet it is stunning in the winter. We just might have to try it out!

Emerald Isle was a great place to stay! The house was a really nice and accommodated my family well. The kayaks were also a great addition to experience the neat lake. If my family were to visit the area again, we'd definitely consider this place.

Wonderful setting! Furnishings very nice and clean. Beds very comfortable. Family enjoyed sitting outside in the morning visiting over coffee. Kayaks were a major hit. This is our second time staying. Looking forward to returning next year. Oh, and host was very responsive. So many nice touches

The place was in a great area and it was very clean. The old boat lift needs to be taken out of the boat house. A lot of low hanging metal.

our stay at Emerald Pointe was perfect! it was so serene and just breathtaking. We loved the seclusion of it, while only being less than 10 mins from a grocery store. the double suite set up was great for our family of 5! and the kitchen is well appointed. Canoes and Kayaks were the icing on the cake - thank you, Emerald Isle!

Far enough away to enjoy the solitude of the bayou, but close enough to wander into the city or Bossier for food and fun. We've stayed at this property twice and have enjoyed it enough to look forward to a 3rd time. The boats are a huge bonus, and the space for dogs sells it. Stay here and fall in love with Cross Lake.

We arrived early morning around 3am, would have been little difficult to identify without the hosts detailed instructions. Host was very easy to deal with and location worked well with our 7 members. Will definitely be great place on next family event in October.

Despite our trip landing on a weekend of rainy weather, we were able to appreciate how quiet this location is!! The water was still and nature was alive 😊 The beds were comfy! Considering the rain, thankful that this property had a covered seating area outside.

My husband and I along with our son, his wife and their son stayed in the cabin, we have family and friends who live in the area so we were able to visit with them for the two days we stayed, they came and ate dinner with us both nights and were impressed with our choice of picking out the cabin and location. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable, we loved the old boathouse and being on what we would call a Bayou in north Louisiana. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a swamp area without the Aligators walking up in your yard. Very relaxing and enjoyed having a fire every night.

The cabin was very nice and well well equipped. It is perfect for two couples or two small families. The back deck is screened in which is nice to get away from the mosquitoes. However, for me sitting out on the point around the fire ring made the entire stay worth it. Listening to the sounds of nature, watching wildlife and fowl was truly magical. You will not be disappointed with this booking! Also the host had the best communication and was very polite and helpful!

We've stayed at this cabin twice now. Loved the secluded area. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable and had a lot of space. We had a couple of small maintenance problems but those were taken care of asap. One suggestion is the kitchen could use a few more pots & pans. The few that are there are very small to cook a larger meal or soups etc.
Overall the cabin was a great location for us to visit family in the area. Will definitely look into staying there again!

Very enjoyable atmosphere.
We enjoyed this property very much. Outside of the busyness of the city but also a short 20 minute drive to all area attractions for our kids and us as well. If there was anything negative to say it would be there needed to be more dish rags and the floors could’ve been cleaner, but that’s not a deal breaker, we swept and went to Walmart and got dish towels. Had a great weekend getaway and hope to book again down the road.

The cabin was very cute and clean. The kids enjoyed fishing and listening to all the wonderful sounds of nature expecially at night. The hosts were very quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. We would stay here again without a doubt.

Saturday we spent the day on the kayaks, canoes, and exploring the lake. I only wish we had brought our fishing gear, a toddler in the cabin next to use reeled in 4 right off the shore. They had a few poles but they weren’t set up with line or hooks. We saw birds, frogs, snakes and loved every minute.

The location of this house was amazing! We have never been in the bayou before and we couldn't get enough of the views from the house. The kayaks were an excellent addition as well. Our kids loved the three cats that were on the property too. This was definitely a unique stay!

The views from the cabin were perfect and had a real cozy feel. Everything was clean and the cabin was well stocked. Jennifer was a great host and communicated throughout the stay. Wonderful setting, lovely view, lots of outdoor fun for the whole family and momma’s heart is full. Very clean, well appointed, furnishings were super comfy and cozy!
