I stayed at the location with several other friends! We enjoyed our stay and had incredible weather. The manor is very luxurious and has plenty of things to do on the property! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna! I would highly recommend it! The kitchen is very big and allows for everyone to enjoy it.
The only issues we had were related to maintenance of the lawn that was happening during our stay and some small items that were missing that were listed as working. The owner was very responsive and accommodating to our requests throughout our stay.

Our stay at the Ridgeview Manor was incredible. We expected it to be wonderful based on the photos online but it blew us away. From the natural beauty that surrounds the house to the details that the owners put into making this home feel like a 5 star resort. We had people of all ages from 3 - 60 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. They had plenty of games, floats, cooking utensils, microwaves and refrigerators on every floor, every bathroom was filled with soaps and toilet paper, and they had specific details to all surrounding hikes. The owner was so kind and was quick to answer if we ever had a question.
The beauty, the ease and the serenity make you never want to leave! We couldn't recommend this more. It exceeded all expectations and we are already planning our next vacation to Ridgeview Manor !

The house and setting were both absolutely beautiful. Very clean and well-maintained, furniture and finishings all high-end and super comfortable. For our group of 12 adults/teens (plus kids), everyone had more than enough personal space and their own area to retreat to… could have easily added another family of 4 before space would have become even a slight issue. Highlights for us were the amazing outdoor pool, the billiard room, and the local nature—including several black bears right off the porch! The owner was polite and prompt/clear in all communications. He even sent a few surprise gifts during our stay. Overall, a wonderful trip and one our extended family will remember forever.

This was a perfect setting for celebrating with my kids and grandchildren. We enjoyed all the amenities in the house and the beautiful view we were greeted with each day. James was the perfect host and answered all our questions and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We made a lot of lasting memories.

Beautiful property and grounds. Spacious and accommodated 13 adults and 2 children well. Superficially clean. Appears to be complex and expensive to maintain based on the amount of deferred maintenance present. Built in 2000 and now with aging HVAC, plumbing and finishes. We enjoyed our stay but do not expect the grand property the photos suggest.

What a wonderful property. Home is beautiful with tons of room. Everything is top of the line. This was our annual family vacation that we take once a year. There were 16 of us this time and we loved the pool and the view. Perfect setting to sit on the covered porch with a refreshing drink. We loved our North Carolina vacay! The lemon cake that was there for us when we arrived was a hit with the family. Also a surprise at our door one morning was delish…chocolate chip scones. Thanks so much.

Twelve of my family met at Ridgeview to enjoy Christmas together. When we arrived, there was a lighted tree waiting for us and the kitchen island was full of cakes, pies, cookies and other delectables. The kitchen was large enough for 5 cooks and we had a great time creating meals. The home is beautiful, well appointed, and made it feel like we were at home. The grounds are lovely as well. Ample parking for the 7 cars we had. I highly recommend Ridgeview Manor for a special reunion location. The Host checked in every other day by text just to make sure that we did not need anything.

Our group of 14 had a wonderful stay here at Ridgeview Manor to celebrate our parent's 60th wedding anniversary! The rooms and beds and bathroom heated floors are all amazing! We loved being able to spread out and still all sit together at the farm table for dinner. Kitchen fully stocked - made use of all of the fun! Played pool and bocce, used the hot tub, movie room, firepit and sauna. It sits at top of Heavenly Mountain and has amazing views! So no quick trip to grocery store or out for pizza! We loved our stay and would consider coming back. Loved Boone and Blowing Rock towns. Even played pickleball at the Watauga County Rec center (gorgeous!) about 20 min drive down the mountain !!

We had an absolute blast at this beautiful home fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the weekend.
With a large group it’s hard to find properties that can fit us all together comfortably but this house was just that. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and large outdoor space. It was also beautifully decorated outside for fall with pumpkins and mums, so perfect.
Inside we were so pleased with the amount of dishes, silverware, and cooking/baking supplies. We cooked almost every meal there with ease.

We had a wonderful vacation at Ridgeview Manor the first week of July. Our family of 18 enjoyed the view and the magnificent home with so many things to do inside and out! The home was beautiful and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The views are just breathtaking. James the host went out of his way to make our stay extra special. Home baked goods arrived on our first day along with a delivery of spirits just in time for New Year’s Eve. Fantastic location, serene but close enough to area attractions. Would highly recommend!

Family gathered for Thanksgiving vacation. James was very accommodating to open and heat pool so my special needs son and others could take advantage of warm weather and swim and play in the pool. The only time we’ve ever taken a swim on Thanksgiving! House was decorated and stocked and James provided a roaster, brine kit everything needed for cooking the dinner. Only concern was proper exhaust for stove, but we just opened window, ceilings are very high.

Ridgeview Manor was lovely . We celebrated my husband’s 80th with friends and had a fabulous trip. We had more than enough room for our group. The bedrooms were comfortable and beautiful, the living spaces were laid out so well for groups. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. The 360 degree views of the mountains are amazing I am keeping this home in my favorites to be rented again in the future.

Ridgeview Manor was the perfect place for our large family gathering (23). The views are amazing and all amenities are top of the line! We throughly enjoyed the sauna, hot, tub, pool, and had a great time playing pool with the family. Their were many pool competitions that weekend. James left us delicious homemade goodies and two tumblers with the house logo on them. With the large group we used all the sleeping areas. Only negative was the pull out sofa in the Oak room being very uncomfortable with the metal bars being felt when lying down. I would suggest replacing this piece of furniture. We found several king size blow up mattresses which we used instead. I would definitely book again. We all raved about our time spent there. Thank you,, James! Great host!

We were a group of 10 adults taking some vacation time in Boone, and Ridgeview Manor was a great place to do this. Location is great with great views. We also had 3 meals including Chef’s Tables with Chef Missy at French Magnolia Chef along with Thomas as sommelier. These chef and wine paired meals were outstanding! Highly recommend. Ridgeview Manor was a nice backdrop for our vacation, especially the pool area. Highly recommend heating the pool, since it was fantastic! Overall, the house needs some care to spruce up the kitchen, some bathrooms, and the basement rooms were useful for larger groups but the upstairs bedrooms were much more user friendly. Basement bedrooms probably not that useful. Many thanks James for the wonderful lemon cake and brownies…we thoroughly enjoyed!

Fabulous Ridgeview Manor Week
Fabulous week staying in this beautiful home with gorgeous surroundings! Kitchen was well appointed, plenty of towels, gorgeous pool (we took the heating option which was well worth it), hot tub & putting green were used by all, plenty of space to spread out…just perfect! James Glenn & daughter, Mary, we’re very attentive to gate code as gate was being worked on. The delivered, homemade cake & scones were a delicious added delight! Thank you for a memorable week!!

Amazing vacation at Ridgeview Manor
Our family of 18 loved everything about spending the week of the 4th in this lovely house and amazing property. We had plenty of room, the amenities were wonderful. Loved the pool and fire pit. Views are outstanding. James did everything to make our stay comfortable. Sightseeing in the area was great, lots to do.
