Dieses Reihenhaus mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern wurde von oben nach unten überarbeitet: Schränke, Arbeitsplatten, Haushaltsgeräte, Fußböden, Türen, Farbe, Leuchten, Waschtische, Möbel und mehr! Obergeschoss neu gestaltet, um ein sehr geräumiges Layout mit einer großen offenen Küche, einem Esszimmer, einem Hauptwohnzimmer und einem Hauptschlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad im Obergeschoss zu schaffen! Und dann wurde unten eine zusätzliche Neugestaltung vorgenommen, um einen geräumigeren Eingangsbereich, ein größeres Schlafzimmer und ein einzigartiges Doppelbadezimmer mit separater Konfiguration des Waschtischbereichs zu ermöglichen. Custom Scheunentor, wo die Wäsche ist. Nach Südwesten ausgerichtete Eckeinheit mit Blick auf die Bergspitze. The unit was perfect for our family and comfortably fit 7 of us. Walking distance to Vons, Starbucks, great pizza, Distant Brewing, and the Trolley stop! The kitchen was well-stocked, bathrooms were clean and well-stocked, and it was great having a washer and dryer downstairs. My only request is if the unit doesn't have AC (which in Mammoth isn't usually needed) that the windows open properly with screens that are latched in all the way, and have functioning cranks. We couldn't open all the windows and it did get a little warm during the day. But...we'd definitely stay here again!

The unit was recently remodeled, and the process is not quite complete. The hot and cold water in the bathroom sinks were reversed in two of the sinks with the hot on the right instead of the left. The toilet roll holders had not yet been installed. There are garages in many of the units, but this one did not have one and that would’ve been convenient because we had five electric mountain bike's that needed to be recharged at night. But overall, it worked well for us.

We have been going to Mammoth for about 30 years. This year we decided to try a different condo complex. I wish I could say that it was great, but there were a number of things which could be improved upon. The condo has a number of windows which were stuck and difficult or impossible to open. Given that there's no AC, this created a problem. There were termites in the condo appearing throughout our stay. The bathroom and bedroom doors have large translucent panels which created a lack of privacy. The biggest problem was the fact that the condo was being reroofed for the last half of our stay. This was our vacation! It would have been nice to be notified of the roofing project when we booked so we could find other accommodations. We had nails and roofing materials falling on our balcony as well as outside our door. The noise was intolerable during the day, leaving us no choice but to leave the condo. We were compensated for 2 of our 6 night stay, but we feel that the whole situation could have been handled in a better manner.

The condo was perfect for our family. It is as advertised. All of the bed rooms were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to make a meal. The washer, dryer and BBQ grill really make for an all inclusive stay. Would definitely stay here again. Easily held our 8 person group.

A group of us traveled up to Mammoth last week to enjoy the beautiful mountain to go Ski and Snow, Board. Sking is an absolute nirvana to some of us and an annual event that we all looked forward to, and if you are an avid skier, you know that it can be absolutely exhausting. That being said, a hot shower and a comfortable bed are top priorities. Well let's just say that the shower had the same amount of force as a toddler's water gun, So you can say goodbye to those long hot showers. The beds were way too small and uncomfortable for normal size adults, if you're under 3 feet or under the age of 5 you should be fine. The layout downstairs was cumbersome and dark. it had no rhyme or reason, and absolutely no privacy. The upstairs was better with the natural light coming in, however, the floors were filthy. The tv was also an annoyance because you had to change the battery from one remote to the other. This should have been handled by the manager before the guests arrived.

We felt the pictures and description wasn’t accurate. It stated there was 4 bedroom when there were actually only 3 which meant 4 Adult children (unmarried) all had to stay in the same bedroom which was something we wanted to avoid.

It was a great place to stay but it was kind of difficult working with the property management company. They charged us for a chip in the fireplace which was already there and I am pretty sure they wanted to take advantage of the insurance I purchased. Also, the fire place did not work for us and they were no help with that. The place also was short on towels for a place that sleeps 10

Convenient and cozy
The wood fired stove made this place amazing! So close to everything including mountain and restaurants. The hot tub was great. And we had room for four kids and our nanny. We loved our trip there!

Dirty, cold, outdated
This property was incredibly dirty. The floors were disgusting. We found dirty footprints on the "fresh" pillowcases in the closet. We would not allow our kids to walk on the floor without shoes because of the filth on floor. The property is certainly not newly renovated as suggested in property description. Bathrooms are very old. All the bed mattresses were very old, uncomfortable, and sank without any support. The condo would either be freezing cold or blistering hot despite setting the thermostat. Would never stay at this property again.

The condo is spacious, clean, well decorated, and well heated, a very comfortable rental. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms is great for a large group or family. If I was to rate the property, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 due to a few problems: The number one problem we had during our stay was the lack of hot water! For a rental that’s advertised to sleep 10, you would expect enough hot water for 10 people to shower, not the case here. The rental uses a tank water heater with enough hot water for only 2-3 people to shower, all the rest get cold showers. I would highly advise the owner to upgrade to a tankless system for unlimited hot water! The second problem were the beds, several of them bow into the middle, not sure if it’s the mattresses or a lack of structural support but if you are sharing the bed, the two of you will roll together toward the middle due to the bowing. The third issue we had was with the fireplace. There was no manual or instruction sheet provided for the fireplace operation however we were able to find a manual online after Googling the model # off the back. Even with the online manual to guide us, we could not keep a fire going for long, not sure if there was too much moisture in the wood provided or a problem with the fireplace itself. The last issue we faced was, the rental is advertised as sleeping 10 but only provides for two parking spaces! Two spaces would mean 5 people per vehicle, which is not likely for most people with luggage and gear. A third parking pass would not be provided even upon request, so we had to park our third car 1.5 miles away at the Village paid parking lot for $95 for 48 hours. If these problems were remedied, this rental property would be a 5 of 5.

Chateau number 6 was good. It has everything you need to host a group of 10 people. The place was impeccable and clean. It would be worth it to look into the hot water situation as we ran out of hot water daily and a lot of us could not take hot showers coming back from the slopes. Would also be good to have the chimney swept as fire would die very fast without enough air reaching it. We are mentioning this to make it even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The service from the rental agency was very good and the snow removal crew is awesome; they had a lot to do with us surviving snowmageddon 2021 :-)

The condo at Chateau de Montagne #6 worked out very well for our family of 4 adults, 3 small children, and 1 baby the condo layout was great. Unfortunately we did have some problems. The windows are the old style crank open type and most of them didn't work very well so we had to remove the screens in most cases to pull the window open wile turning the crank to get the windows to open and close. This was an ongoing problem throughout the week. There was no cold water to the kitchen sink when we got there, the valve under the sink was turned off so we turned it on to find out there was a leak in the line going to the refrigerator. We turned the valve back off and called for help. The building manager sent someone out right away to fix the problem, they disconnected the line under the kitchen sink and capped it off. After they left the cap they installed continued to leak. At this point I was very frustrated so I took it upon myself to go to the local hardware and get what was needed to fix the leak properly. Not exactly what I wanted to do on my vacation. We were compensated for the inconvenience but I would much rather not having to deal with all of this when I'm trying to spend time with my family.

Dirty condo
This is an old complex of condos, which is fine but the improvements are just cosmetic. There are no dressers in the rooms, which I guess I should have realized from the pictures. They could put up some hooks at least in the bedrooms but nope. The floors were filthy from day one. There's no AC which I realize you didn't need in mammoth when it was built but climate change is real and in the summer It's hot upstairs. There was spider webs. The pros were 3 couples had their own bathroom and there are 4 bedrooms so that was accommodating for our group. It was pet friendly. All the appliances worked fine. But for all its shallow modern cosmetic upgrades it was decrepit and dirty. I'm really disappointed in mammoth reservations for the condition of this condo. For all the money I paid for this, it could have at least been cleaned well.

Great place for family gathering
This is a large unit that worked well for me my wife, my two sons and their families. Older unit that had been updated. Kitchen , dining and living room very nice set up. Very attractive and functional. We BBQ on deck once. Nice. Hot tub at complex is large and was enjoyed by all. Kids had fun in the pool. Dog friendly unit worked well. Very good location -many things walkable. Negatives a few minor maintenance requests e- mailed to mngmt were ignored( I did not call so maybe that would have helped) . Also vents lion did not work well as bedrooms got pretty hot. They had fans but did not work that well. Ceiling fans would have helped

Based on the reviews we were a bit skeptical of this place, but when we arrived we found that this place was really nice! We had a great time and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. It’s super close to town, literally a block from restaurants and the grocery store. We couldn’t find the amenities that were described, but we didn’t need them anyway. It is super great for having pets too. Our dog had a great time. My only problem was trying to contact the property management. They weren’t very responsive when I tried to email them about something minor, but I would recommend staying here!

Listen to the bad reviews
We travel a ton and I typically think reviews are too harsh so I ignored the bad reviews when booking this unit. This is my first time writing a negative review. We stayed here for two nights during a month long road trip. We were charged over $600 a night for this place and it felt like a cheap roadside motel. The bad:
1. The floors everyone mentions have not been addressed. Your socks will be black. It’s like a fine black gravel dust is coming out of the floors. They do offer slippers when you walk in but I can’t imagine using communal slippers.
2. TV in living room didn’t work. You had to hold cable to get picture but as soon as you let go it stopped working.
3. Coffee provide but no creamer
4. Bath products/soap were the cheap ones you find in cheap motels
5. Fridge would intermittently make loud buzzing noise
6. Check in is at 5pm and check out at 10am

Lots of bathrooms/bedrooms so good for a large group of young people who plan to just crash in unit
If we had paid $200 or less a night then maybe we would have expected this but over $600 a night for this place is absurd. Everything is dirty/stained. It is not remodeled as indicated. It’s an old unit that got what looks like a $500 upgrade from Homegoods. This unit would be perfect for a bunch of college kids. The room with a map on the floor makes it look like this unit is for families but I would highly discourage people with kids from booking here. If we could have gotten refunded we would have left after the first night. We have stayed in one to five star hotels and houses and this is the first place my family has ever complained about. You will leave feeling dirtier than when you walked in.

Great location and close to lifts
The property is clean and modern. The community layout of the washroom downstairs was nice and made things convenient. However, the beds are not comfortable and the floors seemed like they were cleaned with Pledge. Floors were EXTREMELY slippery - especially down the stairs and near the kitchen. Great Location but poorly kept home
I wish I could give this rental a higher rating. I was very excited about it based on the description and pictures but it did disappoint unfortunately. The main issue was the cleanliness. The floors and couch were filthy, the bedroom bedding had stains and holes on the comforter. I emailed the renal management company but they take like a day to respond, it’s not managed by the owner so getting a hold of someone is hard. If this place was deep cleaned and new bedding, it would be a whole different experience. Overall we still had a great time.
