Wunderschönes Seehaus aus den 1940er Jahren mit drei Schlafzimmern an der Westseite des Possum Kingdom Lake! Sie können den Blick auf den See genießen, während Sie im wunderschönen Pool schwimmen oder auf der Terrasse entspannen. Dies ist ein großartiger Familienurlaub oder ein Wochenende für Mädchen und Männer!
** Kein Dock auf dem Grundstück. Es gibt Bootsanlegestellen nur wenige Kilometer von der Unterkunft entfernt.
** Wir haben Überwachungskameras an der Außenseite des Hauses. Die beiden vorderen (Türklingel und Garage) sind eingeschaltet, aber die Kamera in der Nähe der Rückseite der Garage ist ausgeschaltet, wenn Mieter im Haus sind. Es wird um 10 Uhr beim Auschecken eingeschaltet.

Our stay was enjoyable and the place was great. definitely recommend. The only reason I’m not giving all 5 stars is that the pool pump was down while we were there. We still floated.

This is the second time we have rented this property and it was just as wonderful as the first. Great place to get away and relax with family. We had no issues at all while we were there and plan on coming back again next year.

Out stay
The house itself is great, the pool is a fabulous asset, with a small view of the lake, it’s a really beautiful and a fun area to be, has a screened in porch. There’s a fire pit at the bottom on the outside, and also a fireplace in the screened in porch if you were to be there in the winter. I like how they made an older house look newer. They do need to up their inspection some: The living room lights did not work at all when we got there, so we quickly wrote about that before nightfall because we wouldn’t have been able to see and hang out there, and they did send someone, so we appreciated that. The refrigerator did not work, it wasn’t cold enough to keep foods edible so we had to throw some of our food out after realizing this the next day, and then keep the rest our food in our coolers and had to go get ice, the screen door going out to the swimming pool was all busted on the bottom making the thick metal stick out and gouged one of my friends foot, it was all you could do to tug it open, The fire pit had a plastic bottle of fire fuel just thrown in there not put in the trash, The back glass door had Coke spewed all across the wall and running down the glass on the doors and windows, so basically it just looks like no one really walks around and looks at the property, I’m sure they cleaned everything on the inside, it wasn’t that it was dirty, it was just a lot of things that didn’t work, but if all of those were fixed I would still go back and stay at this house again, it was really nice and the potential is there. We enjoyed that it had space for five of us to sleep and we were all comfortable. It definitely has plenty of room for six people, for sleeping and dining and hanging out in the living room, everything you would need for a vacation! Once they start making rounds and doing inspections on the things that people use, it will be a perfect place!

Not for Seniors citizens
All was great but multiple steps with no hand rails are hard on seniors. No rails on pool, hard to enter or exit. Steps inside pool need a dark blue trim to stand out. Someone was always running their toes into the steps not realizing they were there.

What a lovely spot for some R&R -- from the comfy beds to the relaxing outdoor area, this house is both stylish and well-appointed. Even though it was too cool to swim, we enjoyed being outside on the pool deck and dangling our feet in the water. Having a fireplace in the screened-in porch area also meant fun outdoor evenings without bugs! It's easy to bring food and cook here, with plenty of table space for both eating and playing games in the evening.We also enjoyed getting to know the area more--we rented a boat one afternoon and spent another hiking the Possum Kingdom Lake trails. Michelle makes it easy to check-in and out and responds quickly to inquiries. We had such a good time that it's easy to recommend this great place for your next getaway!

Very nice property! Lots of nature around to explore! We saw deer and heard the wild hogs. We didn’t get to use the pool due to the recent cool front and rain (crazy Texas weather), but we still had a fabulous time. There are 2 local restaurants that offer dine-in or take-out and are less than 2 miles away. The Cliffs golf course is about 45 minutes away, but a pretty drive to get there. Grocery stores and fast food are about 20 minutes away. Country atmosphere but not too far away from conveniences.

Beautiful property. The location is very private. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. Comfortable beds and linens. Lots of room to spread out. Beautiful pool area. Only issue we had was the outside grill. Had not been cleaned in a long time and took quite a while to clean. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely perfect place to bring the family!
We have made it a tradition to take our family somewhere every August and this was a perfect place to bring the family and create memories & celebrate my birthday! The pool was a hit, we were in it nonstop except when we rented a boat one day! The accommodation were spot on, had everything we needed! The pictures do not give this beautiful lake house justice! I communicated several times with Michelle prior to our weekend... she was great and answered very promptly each time. The only thing I wish could have been different would have been a later check out, so we didn’t have to rush and the kids could have enjoyed a last minute swim! However, we were very grateful for the 30 minute extension. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Great place to stay at PK
Our family really enjoyed our stay. We rented a boat slip at Possum Hollow right around the corner. Even though there was not like access from the property it worked out fine. The pool was nice during the heat of the day when nobody wanted to be out on the lake.

Great place to relax...
We were on a house hunting trip at PK for this trip. This home is in an easy to find location on pavement... many of the homes at PK are on gravel or dirt roads. It is large and spacious, two dining areas, living area and a screened sunroom. The pool is great but it was too cold to use during our stay. It is an older home that has been partially restored. Hardwood floors mixed with tile. The floors are a little un-even and might be a challenge for the elderly... just due to age of the home. It is not directly on the water and does not have a place to dock a boat. There is a walk-thru path/creek to the lake, but during our stay, that area of the water had collected a lot of trash..sure wouldn't jump in there. There are a couple of dining choices within 5 minutes that are very reasonable, (1 was Possum Hollow) and a pricey convenience store we spent a couple hundred at right around the corner. :-) $$lakeprices$$
Ovens took 30 minutes to preheat and needed cleaning, large fridge needed cleaning too. Beds, linens, rooms, and bathrooms were clean. No close neighbors, was nice and quite with deer in the front yard each morning.

Very nicely remodeled old farm house. Enjoyed everything about the house, pool, and view from the roof top area. The property is very nice and very quiet!!!! Very relaxing! The communication about entry codes, arrival, departure, and renter responsibilities were very clear and easy to follow. We rent thru VRBO/HomeAway usually twice a year and this property was very well organized and renter friendly. I could go on and on about all the positives of this property and if we want to rent in this area again, we would rent this property.
Only disappointments were: No real access to the lake from the house. I came with 5 females that sleep late and thought I could fish from the bank early in the mornings. The access to the lake was just impossible from the property. If you plan to fish a little, you will need to bring your boat.....Next time I will. The screened in porch area by the pool really needing a good mopping......Both of the above items are NOT complaints, the property WAS EXCELLENT, just some items that need to be addressed.
