Have stayed at this property twice and love the location. The amenities work well for parents and our adult kids. A few blocks from Bridge St (main street, steps to the beach, and views of the lake and lighthouse are amazing. As the description states there is no AC so if visiting in the summer bring a couple extra fans.

This is our 4th year at the cottage and it was better than ever. It’s always clean and updated with everything we need. We love the location where the beach and channel are just steps from our door. Downtown Charlevoix, mushroom houses and hiking paths are a short walk too! Thank you for providing the perfect vacation spot for us.

This cottage is the perfect place to stay in the summer. The house has everything you need with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a well stocked kitchen. The front porch is the perfect place to sit and watch the boats come and go in the Pine River channel and, if it is cool, the backyard with an umbrella table and a fire pit gets you out of the wind. The Lake Michigan Beach is a few steps from your front door where you can swim and sun all day long. Downtown Charlevoix is only two blocks away and an easy walk for shopping and dining. The neighbors are so friendly, you feel like you belong in the neighborhood. This cottage is our favorite place to stay.

Loved the convenience of both town shops and dining while near the beach. House was equipped with all necessary kitchen needs and ample dining area. With no air conditioning the fans were a must in July, and did the job. Host was responsive and deserves a great rating!

Very clean and fresh finishes. Convenient location to the beach and walking distance to downtown Charlevoix. We could also walk to historic “mushroom houses”. We could not ask for a better place to visit Charlevoix.

We had another lovely stay at the cottage by the Lake Michigan Beach. It is such a comfortable home and has everything you can possibly need during your stay. Watching all the boats go up and down the Pine River channel from the front porch is never ending entertainment. At the other end of the short block you are at the public Lake Michigan beach. Beach chairs and beach towels have been provided for you to use. It is an easy walk into town for shopping and restaurants. And a shout out to the neighbors who are friendly and helpful. We already have our next visit booked.

Great Location!
Fantastic location! Walkable to the beach / lighthouse, as well as downtown Charlevoix for meals & exploring town. The cottage was super clean, had all the necessary essentials, and was perfect for our short stay! Highly recommend this spot. If I had to list one drawback to this place, it would be it doesn't have air conditioning (which we knew going in from reading prior reviews, and it not being listed in the amenities). Given we were there in June, we took a chance and it worked out. It did start to get quite hot into the upper 80's one of the days we were there, but there's a lovely cool breeze off the water, and with all windows in the house open -- it wasn't too bad.

Family wedding weekend
Adorable three bedroom cottage located minutes from Lake Michigan! Amenities were great. Grab a coffee and look at the boats coming and going from Lake Michigan to Lake Charlevoix. Or grab a cocktail and watch the sunset!
A short walk into town where you will find a mix of restaurants and unique shops. We only wished we had stayed longer!! Hoping to come back next year!!

Just a short walk to the beach!
This place was adorable and very roomy and close to the beach and boardwalk and downtown area. It truly was everything we expected and more. I would stay here again while visiting Charlevoix.

Favorite place to vacation
The property has everything to make a perfect home away from home. I love the way it's decorated and everything is comforatable. The location is close to the pier and beach which is my favorite place to go. You can also walk to town and the neighborhoods with the mushroom houses.

Perfect family vacation
We had a great time at the cottage. It was welcoming from the chairs and swing up front to the fire pit located in the back. We were walking distance to the beach (great for sunsets), downtown and the mushroom houses. The cottage was clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were super comfortable and we woke feeling refreshed each day for a new adventure. My family can’t wait to return to the cottage again!

At the Beach
We love the beach cottage. Just steps from the Lake Michigan beach and park and an easy walk to town along the Pine River Channel. I can sit for hours on the front porch and watch the boats come and go on the Pine River including the Beaver Island Ferry. The house is so comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths it feels like home. It is decorated beautifully and you have everything you need. We have already booked our stay for next year. Can't wait to come back.

Great Location!
This was our second stay at the cottage, and we love everything about it. It is steps from the beach and town, and the neighborhood is ideal for walking. We enjoyed having the patio grill for family meals. The weather was perfect to sit on the porch and watch the boats pass through the canal. The kids collected lots of stones, and made lots of memories! We'll be back again next year.

The Cottage at Charlevoix
The Cottage at Charleston was adorable and very comfortable. It is close to the downtown and the waterfront. Our hosts were very accommodating to our needs. We definitely would stay there again if we ever go back to the area.

Love the cottage!
This was the perfect place to enjoy time with the family! The beach cottage has all the comforts of home, and the relaxing atmosphere of the beach. My granddaughter was thrilled to find the beach and playground just steps away. The walkway to town was really convenient. My favorite spot was on the front porch swing watching the boats go by, and listening to the water. Oh, and the sunsets! Just a short walk onto the pier for a prime view. We'll be back here again next year.

Perfect Beach Cottage
This is the second time we have stayed at the beach cottage. The cottage is comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is steps from the Lake Michigan Beach and 2 blocks to downtown providing easy access to shopping and restaurants. From the front porch you can watch all the boats come and go in the Pine River along with the sunsets over Lake Michigan at night. Plus, the neighbors are wonderful. We have already booked at stay next year.

A hidden gem
This property was the perfect spot for my family of five. A one minute walk to get to the beach and a 5-10 minute walk to downtown. We didn't have to use our car all week. The house was charmingly decorated and offered everything you would need for a relaxing beach vacation. The owners were prompt in responding to any questions I had about the cottage. Overall it was a great rental experience!

Beautiful and very cozy cottage on Lake MI!
Our family has been coming to this cozy and charming cottage for years now. It offers everything you need and is very accommodating. The decor is modern, beautiful and it’s alway clean and tidy inside.
We LOVE how easy it is to get everywhere! It takes minutes to walk to the lake, it’s a short stroll downtown, to the marina and much more. The location of the cottage is perfect and offers breathtaking views of the boats passing in the canal.
We’ve made this gem cottage a summer tradition and look forward to heading back every year.

Dirty Cottage
This property was very dirty. The first
thing I noticed was garlic wrapped in foil
sitting on the sink of the hall bathroom.
Brown ants were all over the floors. The
sheets on the back bedroom were dirty and the skirt around the bed was covered
in dog hairs. The kitchen sink smelled
awful. This cottage was very disappointing. Pictures can be very
deceiving!!!!

Thoroughly Enjoyed This Charlevoix Cottage - Location was Perfect, Decor was Lovely!!
We recently stayed at this enjoyable beach cottage for a long weekend the end of June. Although unseasonably warm that particular weekend, with high humidity - we had all the fan's running due to the fact there is no air conditioning. But that certainly didn't keep us from enjoying the location to town, beautiful inlet views of boats coming in and out and LOVED how close the beach was to Lake Michigan! This home was so clean, decor was very fitting and detailed and nice upgraded furniture to enjoy! Would definitely stay again!! The front porch was comfortable to sit out - close to town amenities - perfect home to enjoy a getaway in!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!!

Adorably decorated cottage!
This cottage was decorated so very nicely. This place has a great size kitchen with a good size dining area, which provide all the cooking supplies needed. All the beds were extremely comfortable (I slept on all of them), and the sheets smelt and looked very clean. The location was a minutes walk to the beach, playground and downtown. The only minus was that there is no air conditioner in the house, put plenty of fans, which blew more hot air. It got very hot inside the house, upwards of 85 degrees inside. This was not fun with a toddler, especially since the kids room is the hottest. I did not read anywhere when I booked that there was no a/c in this house. The nights when it was cool, we opened all the windows, it just became extremely uncomfortable in the day, especially if you are cooking in the kitchen. This stay would have been a perfect 5 star if they had a/c, and we weren’t so uncomfortable on the hot summer days.

Perfect cottage, great location, gracious and generous host.
The cottage is very comfortable, super clean and very convenient. Loved being across the street from the beach and an easy walk to town. We traveled with our adult daughters, their husbands and a dog and even though one couple had a room with twin beds, it was fine. Cottage is small but well designed and very quiet. Master bedroom and bath a plus. We’d love to stay again.
