The layout is lovely, views spectacular, pool complex is excellent and caters for children very well. Accommodation is comfortable and rooms are spacious. The two ladies attending in the restaurant are absolutely fantastic and the food very good.

There is no kettle in the apartment which means boil a pot for a cup of tea! No toaster, no dish wash liquid, no dish wash equipment, no dishwasher product. Not enough toilet paper for a one week stay for 4 people. Are we meant to travel around the world with these items? The many places we have stayed at before all include these basic items. Air conditioning should be included but is charged at €10 per day (it is essential when temperatures are 30deg). Small things like this make a huge difference to travellers!! The playground needs to be tidied up and upgraded but we used it nevertheless for our 18 month old.

the view was amazing, our room was comfortable and out almost every window we could see the beautiful land of Tuscany. the pool was very enjoyable with the same view as well. we enjoyed a wine tasting one evening run by the staff ending in a fun night with delicious Italian wine! our children loved the playground and the reception staff was incredible! an hour drive to Pisa and an hour to Florence. I would recommend having a car if you’re staying here.

we didn’t have the best time at the restaurant. I would recommend purchasing food at the coop and cooking yourselves, or checking out one of the restaurants in the small town close by. the restaurant on site seemed busy and overworked, causing long wait times and grumpy workers.

The hosts were super friendly and accomodated all our needs. The property is just breathtaking and close to all turistic and cultural sites of Toscana. We hope to back soon. Definitely recommend.

Very charming, rustic accommodation. Lovely pool, good restaurant, beautiful views and location.

Flat not equipped enough. No bathroom floor mats, no microwave or oven, just a hob and no cloth etc in the kitchen. Many guests drive from home, but for those of us who fly, we cannot bring it with us.

A perfect retreat hidden in the mountains of Tuscany. There are numerous activities that can be planned within the estate including horse riding, fishing, cycling. The overall feeling and experience was surreal. Special thanks to Ms.Elisa and Ms.Lydia who ensured immaculate hospitality. They were considerate enough not to charge for the a/c for the entire unit as there was a technical snag in one of the rooms. The restaurant at the site serves excellent dinner which can be relished overlooking the sunset.

Mosquitoes were a menace. hence advisable to carry mosquito repellants

Beautiful place to stay! When I go back I will books early enough to get a view of Tuscany. The on-site restaurant was great. stick with ordering the meat or pasta.

The views and the staff were lovely. Easy communication with check in/out. Breakfast in the morning was good to get the day started. Horseback riding for the children and the playground were great.

The information on booking.com needs to be updated as it does state "hot tub" and there is no hot tub. Copied and pasted from Belmonte Vacanze's Booking.com info: "Belmonte Vacanze is set in the Tuscan countryside, 9.3 miles from Volterra. Its large private park includes an outdoor pool with a hot tub, lakes, vineyards and olive groves. Parking is free." It is a jacuzzi (or whirlpool) section of the pool that is not heated. This was a big disappointment as it was one of the main reasons we stayed here. Tons of other options in the area but none stated a hot tub, and Belmonte Vacanze did. Granted, on their own website, it does not mention this but information should be consistent across booking sites. The beds are not very comfortable unless you like them extremely firm. Kitchen doesn't come with basic cleaning tools such as a sponge, dish washing tablets, or dish towels, but you can buy them at the reception desk. Since you're out in the country side, it's not worth driving to town for something like this. For almost $200/night, I would expect a simple amenity like this to be provided.

Beautiful view, calm and remote.

We've traveled through a lot of agriturismo and know what to compare. Main downside is the soundproof of the apartments - we've heard every word said with a NORMAL voice behind the wall. Every step that made people that lived at apartment upstairs, every fork they dropped. Beside that, a lot of things were absent - a toilet paper, a dishwasher tablet, a kellte to boil a water, microwave... And no meal at the property is a big problem - you should take a car 3 time a day to have something to eat.

This place is fabulous the apt was spotless even down to the lovely smelling sheets on the beds. The staff were amazing even left us have a late checkout and they were so polite and helpful. Out kids loved the animals and had great fun in the pool and playground. Lovely touch with the local shop delivering items in the mornings including hot pastries. Loved our time here
