Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Great views and very helpful and friendly hosts! Everything was very clean and it was useful having the well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the bus stop and everything in the village. Highly recommend!

Gästehaus Leirerhäusel is a beautiful Tyrolean house that offers wonderful views of the Alpbachtal. The accommodations were excellent and the walk to town was quick and easy. We enjoyed our talks with both Christine and Sebastian who were very helpful in recommending things to do and places to eat. You could not have asked for better hosts. Used the GPS coordinates provided on their website which guided us directly to the Gästehaus. A close walk to town as well as a close walk to hiking paths that provided a beautiful view of the Alpbachtal. Highly recommend.

What can I say about this place even though I know that words will never be enough to describe my time there? First, the host. Christine is the kindest and most amazing host ever. After a 36-hour journey to get to her place, I was obviously exhausted. But upon arrival I was greeted with a cup of coffee, biscuits, an early check-in and a smiling face! This itself made my day and I just knew my time in Austria was going to be wonderful (and it was!). The bedroom was extremely cozy, spacious and warm; bed and pillow were comfy and everything was very clean; wi-fi was fast and worked well; the shower was great; great view of the mountains when I looked through the windows every day; fully equiped kitchen with pans, pots and cutlery; there's a room to store ski blades and a heated room to keep ski boots warm. The house is located in a tiny village, making it perfect for people who want to relax, slow down a little bit, and, in winter, ski or snowboard. Public transportation between the other villages that are part of the ski complex works well and you can use it for free by showing the Alpbachtal Seenland Card (which she gives to you on the first day) to the bus driver. Also, the supermarket is only a 12-minute walk from the house. And finally, Alpbach. What a lovely and beautiful place! You've probably seen many photos of it by now, but I can't stress it enough: this place really is absolutely beautiful. I certainly recommend this place to other travellers, and would love to return one day. If you're heading there, don't even think about staying anywhere else; this is the best alternative there is.
