I stayed just one night, but I really liked this place, the dormitory was big enough and with a toilet in the room, you'll have plenty of space to store your things in the locker underneath the bed. The kitchen is pretty big but in case it gets too crowded there is a second separate one right in front. The Wifi is strong in every area, there is a nice little garden outside the kitchen. The staff was so nice to let me stay in the common area after the check out till my bus departure

Good hostel, too bad that when booking it through booking you pay it in cash in pesos at the very bad official rate....because it is listed in dollars on booking. I recommend better contact the hostel directly to book it at the best fare possible using your blue dollar.

The staff were very helpful; my room was comfortable. Location is fine; you can walk to the bus terminal from the hostel. Only about 10-12 minute walk.

Forcing people to pay cash was a major inconvenience. I booked in US $. As such, the inflation rate in Argentina becomes irrelevant. I understood their rationale but I disagree with it and it caught us off guard since paying by credit card is how I've rolled for 2 1/2+ years traveling continuously now. The internet near the kitchen was fine but my room (upstairs) had many hiccups; particularly after 8:30 p.m.

I really recommend this hostel. I had a reservation for a bunk in a mixed dorm. But when I arrived I asked if they had a single room and they gladly changed my reservation. I liked that my room was just by the garden. The staff are extremely helpful, many of whom speak fluent English. They answered every query I had. Facilities are still available even after check out, if you're moving on later in the day. Breakfast was great - if I could make an observation, I asked for lactose free milk but it wasn't available. However, this didn't dampen my stay at all. Fully recommended and if/when I go to Puerto Madryn again, I will stay there again. Well done and thank you!

The staff were great. Breakfast good. Kitchens very good. Room sizable and clean (we had a double with bathroom). You can stay after you checkout and use the garden and kitchen etc until your late bus. They can organise trips to the peninsula which are very good. Possibly the best hostel we have used in Argentina.

Slightly expensive

Friendly and helpful staff to discuss trip options with in the area. Not far to walk for various amenities and tour operators on the shore front or in the town. Security lockers under the beds for all your stuff was good. Basic but decent breakfast provided was also nice.

Reasonable kitchen with everything to cook your own food but the space was quite limiting when several people tried to cook at once. Heating in dorm rooms was gas heaters which was slightly difficult to regulate the temperatures and can't recall seeing carbon monoxide alarms.

The staff were really friendly and they give you all the information you need. We could book a tour there and you are allowed to use the shared facilities on your check-out day. (including a shower and bathroom)

Towel provided even for dormitories, quite clean, nice garden, good kitchens with long opening hours. Most of the staff was super nice.

The prices are really expensive (like everywhere in Puerto Madryn) and they are even more expensive in reality compared to the prices indicated on Booking. When I arrived they gave me the bed that already belonged to someone else so it seems that they didn't really prepare my venue. I ended up with an upper bed and no key for the room the first day because they did not know where it was. The breakfast officially starts at 7am, so on the second morning I went for the breakfast at 7am and compared to the previous day (when I had breakfast at 7:30am) there was no orange juice nor bread. I asked for them and the staff replied me that they never provide them before 8am. The following day I had bought my breakfast outside to ensure I have sth eat and at 7am everything was on the table! so I don't really know why the staff said that... Quite disappointing. The pressure of the shower was really bad.

It had all the facilities needed for a hostel and a few more. Wifi was strong and there were house rules which people followed. There were lots of little areas dotted around to sit and relax and lots of plugs etc. Each bed had a security locker so bring a padlock. Each bed had a lamp and a plug socket. Staff were very helpful and informative on all the activities.

The shower would sometimes go cold. There was also an issue with payment. They don't accept card and they wanted American Dollars which I didn't have because I am English. So they charged me the dollar blue rate for pesos and the taxes. No other place has done this. It meant that I paid almost three times as much in pesos for the same room as other people which just felt unscrupulous. It also meant a shared dorm with six was twice the price as a private room in other hostels.

Guy that works in the evening is amazing and will give you information about all tours and things to in the area. Hot showers, heaters in the rooms!

Not a backpackers, you will have a mix of ages and families with kids running around screaming.

The location is very good. Staff are very helpful. They are very knowledge about the town. Shared kitchen makes us feel like home. Breakfast is awesome. Shared lobby is also a comfortable place to meet other travelers and for travelers to have a quiet moment. The TV there has wonderful nature show to match the city.

The show water doesn't flow very well. The room is kind of too small especially for international big luggage travelers. Outdoor stairs need to have some slippery protection for rainy or snowy days.

Really kind and available staff that can give you many informations about the activities and tours in Puerto Madryn.

The breakfast wasn’t great but free. It was mostly sweets like cakes and Leche de dulce

the property was set up perfectly to support travellers and the guests staying in the hostel. it felt very welcoming and relaxed and Eduardo especially was really helpful with any request or questions we had. the staff made homemade cakes/tarts for breakfast which was a really nice touch. one of the most enjoyable stays we have had on our travels. great for couples.

the only small issues were the WiFi was weak and the bed was rather creaky and woke us at times when we moved in the night. towels were slightly worn out
