We arrived at around 12 am to the property and we greeted by the host Paola and a man who accompanied her. The place was clean and had everything needed, included tissues, shampoo, toilet paper, dish detergent, water, coffee and even even milk for the baby (thank you for being so thoughtful).

The place is on the 3rd floor in a very old building without elevator and is attached to the train tracks which are basically passing next to the windows and you can hear every single train passing by and the vibration from it. The windows are badly isolated and we could hear every noise from the trains and the street downstairs where cars, motorcycles are passing. The description of this place is misleading because it doesn’t mention that the apartment is literally next to the tracks until you read the reviews which we sadly didn’t read until the evening of departure. Yes, it is very close to the beach but being miserable in the apartment makes no justification to being so close to the beach. Trains were passing by till 1-2 am and then again started around 4-5 am which made our one night very suffering especially having a 1.5 year old baby with us. The host Paola spoke no English even though the description said languages spoken (French, Italian, English), we had to communicate via dictionary which made everything only more difficult especially when she came over the next day to discuss our situation. We asked to get us out the booking and waived the fees and we were reimbursed 330 euro out of 570 euro we paid which is not good enough. Next day we desperately were looking for a new place to stay for the next 3 nights since we simply wanted to have a peaceful short vacation off season. The claimed they gave us 1 night free but if we knew in advance we we would have not come a night earlier. I do not recommend this place for people with kids or elder people because it is quite difficult to manage the stairs with all the beach stuff and the baby. Luckily we found an amazing flat in a lower part of the city near by and spent amazing 3 days at the beach.

The location is amazing and the host was very nice. He helped me with parking and was very flexible in case of our needs. The beach is literally less the 200 m from the apartment and surrounded by nice restaurants

The bed could be better, the parking is difficult and to bars/resto-s in the area is pretty noisy.
