We love staying here. We have stayed four times now in different units. All of the amenities are so convenient and the property is always in very clean and good shape. Easy for families with kids. Beach is short walking distance. Hosts are always quick to respond. We absolutely love coming here.

We had a wonderful time at Stump Pass Resort! Our grandkids loved all the beach toys and the beach and bay were wonderful. Home was wonderfully appointed , clean and comfortable… thank you!

We enjoyed our trip very much. This was our first time to this area and will definitely be back! Loved that we could walk to the beach and Stump Beach Park is beautiful! The condo was super clean and had everything we needed! Thanks so much! We also enjoyed getting around on the Stumpy golf cart.

Great location- easy walk to beach. The provided beach gear was a great perk--chairs, umbrella, coolers, shell collectors, buggy all in good condition and easy to access. Kayaks and paddles were easy to transport with provided cart and we absolutley loved kayaking in Lemon Bay. Plenty of bikes and a free golf cart shuttle stop too. Inside was very clean, well appointed kitchen, big TVs in living room and bedroom, lots of towels in bathrooms and a comfy king bed. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again and we hope to!

This is a great place for adults only or family.
Wonderful location, and beautiful. A lot of the extras were thought about that make your beach days fun and exciting. All the extra toys make it so much more fun.

We had a wonderful stay at the Stump Pass Place. There was a little hiccup when we arrived with the smoke detector, chirping, but the property managers were Johnny-on-the-spot with getting the situation taken care of, so we didn't have to listen to that through the night.
There were many pros to this property;
The beds were very comfortable.
The washer and dryer were full size.
The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and cleaners.
We were offered cornhole to play.
The kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, wagon, umbrellas, beach toys, were great.
We were also offered a trike for my son to ride when he couldn't ride the bigger bicycles (that was extremely sweet) and he loved it.
The location was nice especially when the Stump Pass Park parking lot was too full to park in, we were able to walk, or ride the bikes, and always get in.
There are way more pros, the property descriptions was very accurate, these were the items that we appreciated the most.
A few cons, but not deal breakers for future stays;
The master bathroom didn't have a shower, but did have a large jet bathtub with a flexible shower head hose.
There were also no fans in the bathrooms, so hot showers would warm them up quickly.
There were no views of the water in the canal or the gulf.
We had a great time, and it was a great place to stay, we'd stay there again and would recommend it to others.

We always enjoy staying here. This is our third time on Manasota key and our second time at this property. The owners communicate well and we love the private beach. We especially like the outdoor showers

The amenities were amazing. They have everything you need right there. The beach is a little bit of a walk since there really isn’t any access for a couple of blocks. It is beautiful and worth the walk.

We enjoyed our stay. Place was very clean. Proximity to the Gulf and Park, restaurants, boat ramp. We had a great time. We rode bikes, paddle boards, kayaks. The Free shuttle was also GREAT!!

Definitely worth the trip
While location was most important in selecting this property it was also important to rent from a Premier Host. We loved the proximity to the beaches and restaurants. We also loved the quiet neighborhood. The property was well maintained and our accommodations were clean and nicely decorated. It was extremely convenient to have access to bicycles, beech chairs, umbrellas and kayaks. When it comes to premier hosts Pete has to be one of the best. He was very responsive whenever we reached out to him. Prior to arriving we asked if there was a Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. He indicated that there wasn't but would provide one for us. This was the first indication of what a special host he is. When the TV acted up he fixed it the next day. When the ice maker acted up he fixed it the next day. When we requested a special needs bicycle he provided it the same day. One day a beech umbrella we were using could not be closed causing us to walk back to the rental with it open, which was quite a spectacle. Upon informing Pete we found a replacement on the porch the next morning. Thank you Pete! We highly recommend this property.

Great family destination
Very clean and current property in awesome location with walkability to the beach, parks, places to eat, and gift shop. We had grandma, my kids with their spouses and 5 grandsons. Plenty of room for all. It was nice to have space for everyone to eat together. We also enjoyed having access to all the toys and wagons to use to get to the beach. We would have liked to use the bikes as well but the kids are a bit small for that yet. Really nice outdoor showers and shell washing station was a hit with the kids. Having the designated outdoor space was nice, but you really don't need it with the nice decks and screened in deck area off the master. It was a great experience and location. Would recommend and I would certainly stay here again.

Good value
Very nice place but if you want a pool or beachfront this is not the place. The penthouse is awesome for couples. Selection of beach items are great. Bed in second bedroom way too soft.

Very Enjoyable Stay
The condo fit our needs very well. It was just a short walk to the beach and had everything we needed. It was well equipped with all the toys one would need for a beach vacation. Everything was "as advertised" and the unit was conveniently located.

Great time with family
We loved our stay. The condo was clean, furnished, offered convenience to the beach and all the “beach” supplies you could want from a wagon, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, boards, and chairs. We found local restaurants and bars to be extremely expensive so I recommend bring your own drinks and groceries. Kitchen was fully equipped and you have a private outdoor grill.
We did not realize this was an upstairs condo so if stairs are a concern you will want to avoid this rental.
Definitely a “come back to this one” experience for all 5 adults!

Great amenities, beautiful get away
We had a great time at Stump Pass Place. The suite was very clean, nice layout, and was well stocked with kitchen gear. We loved the beach and ride-on gear that was included. We also enjoyed the games and puzzles. Close walking distance to the beach and state park.

Birthday Get Away
This was the perfect spot for a quick get away. It’s an hour and a half from the Tampa airport. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and activities. The state park is lovely.

Awesome again!
We stayed at Stump Pass Place for the second time and loved it every bit as much as the last time. The beach toys and outdoor showers are such a help, as well as the beach towels in the condo. The condo is spacious and comfortable and wonderfully located. Just like last time, it was sparkling clean. The owner is very quick to respond to any inquiries and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Sun and Family Fun
What a perfect little island to come and play in the Gulf. Our hosts had everything we needed to make our beach time the best. The toy shed had coolers, sand toys, umbrellas, chairs and wagons to pull it all to the beach.
After a day of swimming and shelling everyone appreciated the outdoor showers for quick and easy clean up.

Will stay again!
This property was in a perfect location and did not disappoint. It was convenient- the kayaks and bikes were easy to access. During a kayak trip, my son had a manatee swim right by him, and we saw dolphin jumping close to us. A lot of attention to details that made the stay enjoyable- lots of towels, outdoor showers, lots of seating indoor and out. Lots of shells and shark teeth, beautiful swimming, an endless beach.

Another Great Stay
We had an amazing vacation at an amazing property. This is our second stay at one of Peters properties and they are always so clean and accommodating. Peter is quick to respond and check in is so simple. We can’t wait to return and we will book with this property again. Thanks for the amazing memories.

Nice property
We found the property well equipped and great for our family. We took advantage of the bikes, kayaks. paddle boards and other amenities offered here. We had a great vacation.

Beautiful vacation spot very family friendly
Loved that it was split floor plan and all the toys, bikes, kayaks et... were available. The outdoor showers are so nice and the kids really enjoyed the shell cleaning station. This was a great location for ocean swimming and only a couple hours from the Everglades for some inland fun.

Deceptive Advert
While we overall enjoyed our stay, I am deeply disappointed by how strongly the pictures of the unit and the amenities differed from the actual property. We were expecting beachfront property with views from the two balconies.

Nice Place to Stay
We were able to book this property on somewhat of a late notice over Christmas. Very spacious and well laid out. The home was very clean and had all the amenities you would want. It was a nice bonus that there was beach equipment, bikes and kayaks available for us with the unit. If you're looking to stay on Manasota Key then I would definitely recommend.

Great property
Booked this property for my 30th birthday with friends! This place was great, we loved the bikes, paddle boards, and kayaks. The dolphin portraits around the house were really cute. Peter was an amazing host, he responded quickly and was very helpful. The beach is only a short walk away. We enjoyed the patios and the large dinning table. The master bathroom did not have a shower which was the only thing we found a bit odd but we made it work with the bath. I would recommend this place for sure!

Nice but too pricey for experience
The property owner was very nice and responded quickly to questions and requests. The property was large enough for a family or multi family / friend group however for the price it needs updating. There was garbage and socks under the couch which made us feel the property was not cleaned well after guests checked out. Not convenient to the beach and had to walk down the street to access. Was unaware it wasn't behind the house. We never found where the pool was. The bikes did not include the 3 wheeler option as pictured and was not able tobuse kyacks or paddle boards because that wasn't easy to access to put in water. The check out instructions stated to lock door and bring keys to rental office. When we did so the agent "Deborah" was very unpleasant and snapped at us saying "You locked the cleaning lady out" when I told her I followed the email instructions she basically said "no it didn't " . I would not have even know where the rental office was without the instructions. I had to email her a copy to prove I was telling the truth. I would recommend updating the master bath with a shower / tub and also update pictures. The outdoor space was not usable for unit 5 because it was designated for other units. Unit 5 does not have a grill or outdoor space for a family. There is a nice screen porch and a deck but narrow and no view. I would not stay here again. Needs a tv in every room and a dresser to put your clothes in. Best thing about this unit was the owner.

Adults and teens both loved! Bikes to beach and town everyday. And loved the free shuttle at night. House has bikes, all the beach items you need! 3 great decks too! Would book again. Asked for a large cooler..delivered in 10

Great family beach vacation
The facility was wonderful, better then expected and the amenities great - however the pool with splash pad for the little ones, that was advertised as close and had a cost ended up the splash pad was closed due to COVID-19, and even if it was open it was only available during nap time. So I would not book this location if you are expecting or wish to have pool access.
But if you enjoy kyaking or paddle boarding or easy beach access this place is your place.
