Rumbelow cottage has everything you need, right when you need it! Small but tastefully decorated and well appointed, Rumbelow cottage was an ideal launching point for Granite Island, the bluff and the festivities in Victor Harbour. We were able to easily cook meals, stay warm and enjoy the views of the bay. Would stay again 👍

This place was perfect for a last minute affordable getaway and even had a perfect view of the sun rise over the sea in the morning. There was great communication booking within 24hours, I cannot fault hardly anything considering the price and really appreciate the owners for not over pricing their accommodation which makes familys like ours forget the idea of visiting such lovely places. ***** from us and many thanks Chris and family!

Yard needs a bit of a tidy up

Very easy to rent at Rumblelow. Excellent communication and process made very simple by the owner. Loved the timtams too

Bbq was quite unclean and obviously been like it for some time - unuseable. TV remote was impossible to master with very limited instructions. As digital radio. Bed mattress hard as a board. Otherwise comfortable, clean, convenient and happy enough to stay again. A bit overpriced for what it is.

A beautifully placed little Gem with everything you need the wonderful view is the icing on the cake. A very clean property and loved the little family of magpies and the little surprise in the fridge the TimTams were delicious thank you

A comfy stay, it is an old property which has had a great freshen up internally, no grounds/yard to inhabit. We used it for a comfy stay whilst being amongst the surrounds of the fleurieu coast and it certainly served its purpose.

Lovely little place in a great location. Comes with pretty much everything you need, beautiful view and close to the beach and the town. Chris and Allison were lovely, would highly recommend staying here! 😊

We stayed here for the long weekend for the second time round. Property was kept to a high cleanliness standard, great location and view. It provides you with everything you need. Definitely coming back! Chris and Allison are very accommodating people, and made our stay worth it.

My friends and I did a 30km hike and stayed at Rumbelow Cottage - perfect location! The house is clean and tidy and there’s plenty of extras handy in case you forgot something at home. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking - so good! The complimentary Tim Tams were a treat too thanks 😋 Great heating and fast WiFi. Chris was easy to get in touch with when we had a question. The view was great too. We would definitely stay at Rumbelow again.

I really enjoyed staying at this little cottage as it was small and cozy. It was perfect for the amount of time I had to stay there, however the bathroom is a little small with not much space and a broken window inside the kids bedroom.

I was lucky enough to spend two wonderful, peaceful weeks at this adorable little cottage and my only misgiving was that I couldn’t stay for two months. Everything about it was perfect, from the super-easy check-in (at sunset - gorgeous welcome!) to the super-relaxed check-out (already later than most but extended by an hour just coz Chris is a legend). It’s a place that most people would probably think of for a summer holiday but I’m planning on spending a couple of weeks here every winter, as long as Chris and Allison will have me! It’s so pretty watching the weather come in across the bay - just beautiful - plus whales and seals and dolphins, not to mention having a “pet” magpie. (I miss that little guy!) I really can’t say enough good things about both the cottage (and everything in it, and it does have EVERYTHING you could possibly want and need!!) and how 24/7 accessible and prompt Chris was when I had any queries. A memorable trip for all the right reasons, and one I look forward to making again and again! Thanks for everything Chris and Allison x
