We really enjoyed our days staying here. Accommodations are comfortable. Divya and her family welcomed us to their home and we had the opportunity to try different homemade local food which was amazing! They were super helpful and made our time there special. This is a nice rural area, we liked that we could walk around and see the real daily life in the region :)

Excellent homestay in Kumarakom. Divya and her family made everything for us to feel at home. The property, as many have already said, is in an excellent location, just in front of a river. Boat trips and taxi rides were all very conviniently arranged by them.

The bathroom is excellent and big, but a courtain or shower box would do good.

Rent is high . The room on top floor and you need to carry the bags through tough stairs . It’s a little tough task . Food was not satisfactory. Not up to the mark .

Divya and her family are lovely and very welcoming, they all made us feel at home! the dinners were great, truly local food! The location was great, very close to the nature, they arranged for us a boat tour at sunset which was really stunning! The room is clean and comfortable

It was a very beautiful stay! we felt like we are staying with a family. the hosts we’re very kind and we wish would have stayed little longer. They made our stay very memorable. we had two beautiful rooms and the breakfast was very yummy every day! we also enjoyed a dinner! The village tour organized by the family was also a highlight! The hosts and their attitude made all the difference. I had seen some reviews where people had mentioned about spicy food,lack of restaurant et al. Think it boils down to communicating with the hosts and it worked well for us. I am posting a picture of the hosts saying a bye to someone who stayed with them for a few days and I could see that they were very same to each and every guest!

The location was serene, quite, close to good eateries. The team of Dilip & Divya were sensitive to our needs, fixed up a delicious breakfast & fresh fruits !!

We absolutely loved our stay at the property. The host Divya and Dileep were very caring and friendly. Our kids had a lovely time. The home cooked food was fantastic and small dietary requirements were looked after.

The stay was very comfortable. The location is great with the bird sanctuary just a few meters away. The dinner in the houseboat organised by the host was a great experience. The breakfast at the home stay was yummy. Overall it was a very comfortable stay.

Our stay in mango Kerala homes was really nice experience, host was lovely and helpful. Neat and tidy room with air conditioning. Super location with riverside view. We had an exiting night dinner cruise in the house boat owned by them. Really highly recommend.

From the beautiful location to the simplicity and extraordinarily hospitality of the hosts, I loved everything about Mango Kerala Homes aka Meenakshi River Villa, which is named after their first daughter. Book it now!

This was the best part of my Kerala trip. The place is a beautiful getaway on the bank of a tranquil scenic river. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The hostess Divya was amazing and took care of every need, starting from coffee in bed at 6 am to arranging a sunset cruise and morning shikara ride. The freshly cooked dinner on the cruise with pan fried lake fish was something special. Divya even went out of her way to make sure the taxi dropped us safely to Trivandrum, our next destination. Overall a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

The homestay is located in a quiet lane and is easily accessible. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is ample natural lighting. We appreciated the fact that switchboards were thoughtfully placed. The host, Divya, and her family were very welcoming and prompt with help and suggestions for things to do. Divya also went a step further and offered us their bike when we wanted to step out. The traditional breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed interacting with the family and would love to go back.
