Außergewöhnliches, ruhiges Hotel in traumhafter Umgebung

Schönes altes Gutshaus mit netten Menschen.

Lovely staff, easy to check in and great food. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, lots of wood features and the town is small, but welcoming.
4.1
Beautiful location in a picturesque village. The hotel is very charming as is the Italian owner. Great Italian food in the restaurant. Good beds and bedding, charming furnishings.
Nothing, great value for money.

Comfortable old- world charm in a picture-perfect Bavarian mountain village. Great for walkers, hikers and eaters.

The location and views are great. You can see that the hotel has a lot of history and from locals we heard that the restaurant is very good and renowned in the area. The hotel is situated in a very quiet valley and you can reach Austria within 10 minutes by car. Also great spot to travel the Chiemsee region.
The house in general feels dusty. You can find carpets everywhere. The staff was professional but not very welcoming.
The rooms and especially bathrooms need some reparations.
The breakfast was good and I would categorize it as "standard breakfast". We had choices of different toppings like cheese and sausages and jams. However, the ingredients didn't feel like "high quality" products, but still we didn't leave hungry.

A beautiful 450 plus year old hotel right on the Austrian-German border high in the mountains. It is a quarter timber construction with many exposed wooden beams and joints and is very interesting from an architectural point of view.
The stairs, but it is an old hotel. The top rooms are very pretty with the old exposed wooden beams. So, the walk up was the only negative

Old traditional pension close to the mountains . Loved the room and the bed , really comfortable . Excellent area for hiking , cycling etc . Nice dinner and breakfast in the restaurant . Really pet friendly - we stayed with our small dog and our friends with their two Labrador . Everyone was really pet friendly .
The only weird issue , was the floor in the rooms . Hardwood that was squeaking in every move . Even my 9 kilos dog was making the floor squeaking with just walking .

The location is beautiful, decorations were charming in a quaint kind of way. The village was idyllic and peaceful, the room was quiet and comfortable.
As we were leaving we were told we had to pay tourist tax (in cash, no receipt) which was nowhere disclosed in the booking, so we invite both the property and Booking.com to fix this and disclose all fees upfront. This left a bad taste in our mouths, during an otherwise pleasant stay.
Breakfast (additional charge of 12 EUR) had very basic offering (cereal, fruit salad, drip coffee) and this didn't seem worth it to us.

A wonderful property, we were upgraded to a suite on arrival, very friendly staff, super restaurant & food - multi lingual staff, great location, Biker friendly with secure parking.

Very nice hotel overall. Lovely outside and lovely inside.
Nice breakfast.
While the staff / owner was helpful she could be even more friendly by treating people with a smile and make everyone feel welcomed to this lovely place

Very good food - italian style. Beautiful location in small mauntain vilage.
Not far from highway. We used it as one night break during travelling.
Breakfast is to late for travelers. They start to serve it at 9:00. We had to cancel booked breakfast, but money were moved to dinner bill.

Clean, spacious rooms with beautiful decor like a former Grand Hotel. Great Italian restaurant inside.
Staff could have been more friendly and smily. The booking process should mention that check-in is only possible after 5 pm.

Nice atmosphere, nice restaurant, friendly people

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is 10 km away from Aschau and close to treking paths.
The rooms are of different sizes and types. Ours was on top floor, at mansard, with inclined window. The view was limited, but nevertheless it was a nice room. The beds are comfy and the little details bring a nice touch to the room.
The food at the Italian restaurant downstairs is very good and I recommend eating here. The new chef is from Naples and very charismatic. Also the staff is very polite and friendly, and made our stay perfect.
For about two hours, in the evening, the smell from the restaurant comes through
the window, but was not too strong.
