The location, the terrace and the jacuzzi. Valetta was an excellent place to be based in Malta and the apartment gives easy access to everything the city has to offer. The shop across the road from the apartment provides almost everything needed for a self catering stay.
Whilst we enjoyed our stay in the apartment due to its position and terrace, it cannot be fairly described as luxurious. It has recently been acquired by Tritoni Hotels and needs some action by them if they are to continue to market it as part of their luxury collection. We reported issues with the empty jacuzzi, sink plumbing leak and the scalding water temperature of taps and showers during our stay, which, although responded to promptly, were not fully resolved. The apartment lacked the soft furnishings shown in photographs on the website and looked bare, with ill fitting covers on the sofas. If there are to be no pictures on walls picture hooks should be removed.The fixtures in the en suite bathroom were rusted and mould on the ceiling, tired towels and cheap grey plastic soap dispensers did not equate to luxury. Items such as the lack of a plug in the kitchen sink, some broken wooden slats on the terrace steps and only the base of a sun umbrella did not improve our impression There was also a general lack of information about waste disposal and use of white goods which would have been helpful. I have raised all of these items with Tritoni and I trust that they will take quick action to remedy the issues to ensure that future guests are not disappointed by the apartment.

The location was ideal for sightseeing & the rooftop terrace was very spacious.
The facilities were very poor, e.g the terrace hot tub didn't work, the on/off switch had been sheared off. The temperature of the shower in the downstairs toilet was almost impossible to regulate, the one in the ensuite kept falling off its holder. This made them dangerous. The downstairs toilet had no window & no extractor fan. There were brackets in both bathrooms for shelves, but no shelves. The main electric switch in the fuse box tripped at least once every day. There were no cushions for the sun beds & no side tables to rest drinks or sun lotion on the terrace. There was a parasol stand but no parasol. Only 1 of the 5 lights on the terrace worked. There were very few clothes hangers in the wardrobes. The towels were old and hard & there was only one hand towel per couple for the whole week. There were no tea towels in the kitchen & only 2 dishwasher tablets. There were wine glasses but not a complete matching set. There were no small bowls for nibbles. The decor in general was spartan & bland, hooks for pictures but no pictures, ill-fitting loose covers on the two couches. Everything was grey. The property description did not make it clear that the bedrooms were downstairs. To reach the living area & terrace you had to climb a steep set of stairs. One of our party had mobility issues & found this challenging.

No electricity for 3 days, 1 shower room with no light, another shower room with blocked drainage so completely useless, jacuzzi/spa dirty and not working. Moved to a different "apartment" late evening which had no headroom, a bedroom in the kitchen and in a squalid alleyway. Unable to cook dinner for my family the night of arrival due to electricity issues constantly losing power all the time. Delayed responses constantly from the apartment owner, spent the best part of 4 days waiting in for the electrician to fix the problem, no compensation or refund has been received as yet.

Great location and a fabulous roof terrace.
Some noise from neighbouring apartments stairs in the morning but not too bad.

The location was very central and within easy walking distance to everything in Valletta. The roof top terrace, spa and deck area were well utilised by our family members. Three bedrooms and three showers were appreciated by all of us as was the air conditioning in all rooms.
A suggestion would be to include a few more kitchen utensils such as salad bowls, salad servers and cheese board/platters. As noted by previous guest some cushions on the deck chairs would make it more comfortable when sitting on the terrace.

Brilliant location and our host was always accessible to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property to a family or a group of friends.
Being very picky, cushions for the sunbeds and deck furniture would have been great, but our host provided additional towels which did the job.
