Stairs and the hot water did'nt last.We could hear the person above us walking around. Doors don't seal and the toilet is just behind the bed with no door.

The finishing touches, lovely bedding, comfortable and clean furnishings that were nicer than usual at airbnbs. The quality of products etc Great communication

Apartment very nicely presented with everything you could need including kitchen and bathroom accessories. Very comfortable with great beach access. Quiet location only a short drive from Coffs Harbour. Wonderful position would definitely recommend.

The location is wonderful and the accommodation was cleaned and perfectly kept and thank you to the owners. We will be back! Thanks for the coffee in the morning while I was attending to my stressed dog. I really appreciate it!

Keys in a lock box right next to the door. Code was text to us on the day of arrival.

Nothing. Everything was lovely, and as-advertised. We had to drive to get to decent cafes, but we knew that when we booked and this was NOT a problem. The beachwalks were lovely and secluded.

Very comfortable and so close to the beach. lovely to hear the waves crashing as we lay in bed.

cleverly designed to fit in shower and toilet but privacy is compromised

the bed was hard to sleep on. there needs to be a shower door coz the water flooded the floor. bigger ventilation for the shower stem. the sofa was low and very uncomfortable. having the toilet open was uncomfortable and embarrassing when using it.

I was very surprised to be asked to strip the bed, wash up and put away the dishes and put out the rubbish. I didn’t see the email until after we had left. We washed up as we always do, but really, I assume we pay for the place to be cleaned as part of the price, so why do we have to do it? What really disturbs me is that this means that guests are relying on the previous guests for the hygiene of the kitchen items provided. I have never been asked to do this much cleaning up in any accommodation booked through booking.com. It should be stated at booking time that only partial cleaning is covered by the price of the accommodation.

Location was great. Apartment was large and spacious and had everything you needed. It was very clean and clearly well maintained.

The apartment doesn't get any sun, so when we arrived it was freezing. We spent half hour looking for air-con remote, and finally I messaged the owner and they said it wasn't working, and to use the heater as it would be fine. Note that the floors are all concrete, the ceiling is high, we knew there was no way this was going to heat up the apartment. We had to sleep with sweatshirts on. The second day after leaving the heater on, the chill had gone, but the floor was still stone cold, and with thin curtains there was no way that the heat would be retained. The thought of a hot shower to warm us up was a huge letdown as the water temperature was pre-set and it was barely above lukewarm, and that is just with the hot water running only! I don't like leaving a bad review, as the property was very nice, but it's important to be honest. This would probably not be a problem in summer (or when the aircon works), but when you can't warm-up, you are uncomfortable, and this is how we were the whole stay.

Closeness to the beach and privacy respected

No railings on the stairs to the second floor. A BBQ that worked very poorly and rusted out. Would have prefered verbal communication at the beginning of our stay regarding check out procedure.

Shorebreak apartments are located in the perfect place away from the main town area and just across from the beach.

Stairs difficult for my wife, esp at night.

Beautiful house and garden, ability to bring pets

loved the little apartment, it was lovely. we had the doors open (with flyscreens) all night and fell asleep to the waves crashing - the beach is right across the road. it’s a beautiful little spot. loved it.

the loo and shower are a part of the bedroom so there is no privacy when staying with someone else, but we got used to it. just something to be aware of!!!
