The location. The beautiful decor. The staff went above and beyond in make our stay outstanding!

We had a lovely spacious room. Spotlessly clean with tastefully displayed work of a local artist. Biagio is a kind and gracious host. Beautiful breakfast with a variety of local specialties, including light and delicious apple cake baked by our server's mother, as were all the baked goods.

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely family run hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and used Morano Calabro as a base to explore the area. We felt right at home here and were sad to leave. The father and son who run the hotel were extremely welcoming and so helpful, offering advice and sharing recommendations for things to do and see.

location is great. the hotel is very retro, and I like its decorations. basic breakfast and free parking.

The most spotlessly clean rooms I've ever been in. The hotel is in top shape, our host Roberto at the front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast serves freshly made coffee to order with a wide assortment of cakes and pastries. We plan to come back!

This hotel is managed with love - this is proven with every step from the doors and welcoming process to the very last moment to check out. They will take care of everything you may wish for and you will be amazed by the hotel quirks. Parking is tight on streets, however the person on reception will go miles to make sure you feel safe with your car securely parked. And the town is very quiet and safe. Rooms are very clean and generously fitted even with things that rare to 5-star hotels - toothbrush, bathrobe, slippers. This hotel makes you want to visit this town again. If you are on a long road trip - be sure to get this hotel and then spend a couple of hours in town for a healthy exercise.

A fabulous, family run B & B in a stunning town. Lovely stylish touches and exceptionally friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast - a choice of savoury and sweet options - included wonderful home made cakes and great coffee. A recommendation for a local restaurant in the evening provided one of the best meals we’ve experienced in Calabria.

we would never have known this place or this property ever existed if I wasn’t going to find my family roots. The surroundings are something like we have never seen before and we fell in love immediately. we felt like we were coming home.

The city is a real gem, and the Albergo Meruo was perfect. every inch of the hotel has been cared for with gentle attention. the owner is a gracious host. the room was beautiful, immaculate, full of character. a wonderful place to stay.

This is an absolutely adorable little hotel in a beautiful mountaintop village. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly despite our language differences. the hotel is well decorated with artistic touches throughout. it’s also exceptionally clean. there’s a rooftop terrace with great views of the town. And it’s conveniently located close to a free public parking lot. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night in this hotel.

Wonderful hospitality, attentive and professional staff, beautiful hotel, gorgeously decorated room with well thought out facilities. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of fresh foods and fantastic bread and cakes, served with freshly made coffee!

The hotel is beautiful, every room and area is carefully designed characteristic of the area and of the quaint town Morano. The building is old, in fitting with the town, but the rooms are modern with features like under-floor heating. It is a family-run business and Roberto and Biagio were so helpful and kind, with great recommendations of where to explore and some good restaurants. But one of the best parts must be the breakfast, with homemade cakes made by la Mama of the family! Fantastic stay

Really the property was perfect - but be warned you must be ready to climb some steps if you want to walk back and forth to the centre!
