great location, and such a lovely house and garden.. we loved drinking cider in the evening in the garden!! not speaking about the breakfast with home baked cake

the only thing is that swimming pool had too much chlorine in it and it made it hard to swim for longer

Nice swimming pool. Very quiet location. Self made extensive breakfast by the host. We booked last minute and had a baby with us, which was no problem.

Really friendly welcome, delicious evening meal offered, fabulous scenery and beautiful gardens. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The house with the big garden and beautiful view. Our room was quite big for 5 people, which was great. The swimming pool was clean and nice!

Environment is beautiful and also the house and the swimming pool are really nice. But we had a not so pleasant encounter with one of the owners. My 14 month year old son broke a mirror during our stay. Which can happen if you travel with a baby. So we were willing to pay for the damage. Then they gave us the bill the night before we left. The bill was €1300,- euro! So I responded with WOW that is quite a lot! We would have expect that it was around 500 or so...One of the owner (not Pedro) was like well that is wat my contractor asks and your insurance will pay for it anyway so just pay the amount. I felt really pressured by him so we just payed.. After our holiday the insurance company didn't want to pay the full amount so I reached out to them. But they didn't reply. It was not only the amount of money but especially the attitude of the owner which left me with a bad memory. I think the bill was way too much but they should also have handled this way more friendly and cooperative. Especially they could have had the decency to reply to my email.

The hospitality of Pedro and Philippe was out of the top drawer. They went out of their way to help and Pedro cooked for us on our last night. He also helped get my toy aeroplane out of a tree! Breakfast was massive, We could have ate all morning just from the choice in front of us! They gave us excellent tips on where to go and what to see and when Philippe got in from work, his piano playing was something really special. We will miss this place and these people. It was amazing and I cannot recommend it highly highly enough.

Wifi was a bit slow, but it stopped me from working so I could enjoy the place, so no harm done heh?
