There is actually nothing to really complain! Only thing is that the service could be a bit improved by e.g. making the bed on daily base. But please do not misunderstand, overall the service was awesome!! :)

everything was 10/10. The staff are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. the villa is beautiful and well maintained.

A bit warm downstairs during the humid evenings, no ac, but can be ok with the windows all open and fans on.

The place is absolutely stunning. Chris and his team make you feel home from the very beginning. It’s located a 5 min tricycle ride from General Luna. The views are amazing. Chris can arrange everything for his guests. We went surfing with him for a day and the next evening he organised a romantic home stay dinner for us on the deck next to the swimming pool (on our request). Be aware that at this moment, only the smaller villa is renovated and ready for bookings. The larger one is still under construction after being hit hard by last years typhoon. The smaller villa however looks like nothing ever happend and we had the best time. 100% recommended. It’s also a good place to ask your girlfriend to marry you. She said yes ;)

It was our first trip in Siargao, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Staying in Mango Tree was definitely one of the highlights of our experience. Coming home to a luxurious villa with your own private pool, top-notch sunset views, and with the highest security & privacy is unparalleled, especially coming from full-day excursions, crowded parties and tiring explorations in the island. The service is also nothing short of amazing. The villa manager (Kris) and the rest of the staff are so nice and friendly. They always know the best recommendations for restaurants / surf spots / coffee shops / nightlife. If you also need a guide to show you around and for the best surf spots for your level, I highly suggest reaching out to Kris or the staff. They will definitely take care of you. I’m not one to usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one as I feel strongly about how staying in Mango Tree definitely elevated our experience in Siargao. It’s like having your own little, private paradise within a paradise.

Every single aspect of our visit to Mango Tree was perfection. Our hosts had a comfortable, air conditioned van pick us up at the airport and bring us to the property, where the host had a mango smoothie and fresh, warm, coconut rolls from General Luna waiting for us in the meeting area of the property. We signed in and were taken to the villa, which blew us away. The villa is large, clean, cozy, and impressive. The pool is huge and it's incredible to think that you have the entire home to enjoy for yourself. The fridge was stocked with wine, beers, sodas, and there was a purified water station available. Snacks were also offered in the home. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are even bigger and more beautiful than we thought. The best part, is that the villa, while incredible, is only part of what made our stay so wonderful. Fhey, Arlene, Cocoy, and everyone else were incredible. They made us feel like we were guests in the home - with a fresh breakfast in the morning (we even had selections to choose from!), they'd organize van rides to and from town, an island tour, massages, and help with anything we needed. I cannot express how truly wonderful they make you feel. The villa is perched on a hill overlooking water buffalo, pigs, cranes, and wildlife. You truly feel like you are being treated to a lovely escape, just on the edge of adventure at your fingertips. Thank you to all at Mango Tree for a wonderful experience. I was truly impressed.

Our overall experience at Mango Tree Siargao was amazing! The staff was exceptional! From booking, to accommodating our transportation and tours, to our daily delicious breakfast - everything was well executed! We island hopped in the Philippines for two weeks, but Siargao Island was by far our favorite partly due to Mango Tree.
