My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful property. The views are outstanding and the hosts were by far the best we have had. Very kind, super helpful, through and through amazing people. Definitely went above and beyond. The house was very clean, had everything we needed and was really fun to explore. The hot tub was awesome! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves here. This is going to be our go to whenever we get the chance again. Thank you Patty for sharing your home with us.

The property is perfect for lake vacation! take your lake gear ! we took some floaties, paddle board, water shoes, ice chest, tent/shade. we loved the lake we spent most of the time on the lake it was lovely!
Pack your snacks food to have to eat when you walk to the lake as you may get tired of going back and forth.

No need for cancun for clear waters!
The property is perfect for lake vacation! take your lake gear ! we took some floaties, paddle board, water shoes, ice chest, tent/shade. we loved the lake we spent most of the time on the lake it was lovely!

The property was super close to the water! The stairs both in the cabin and to the lake were pretty steep so that might present an issue if you have mobility issues, but for our group it was totally fine! Kitchen was well laid out and well stocked. Patty and Greg were very communicative through the whole process, and Patty was easily reachable by cell. She promptly responded to texts. The only thing I would note is that the futon and pull out couch are both in rooms with beds in them, not common areas. Keep this in mind if you are going with couples! But overall, loved the place and hope to be back next year!

The property was super close to the water! Relaxing time with family
Really enjoyed the property. Beautiful views from the patio and the hot tub was great for the colder weather we had when we were there. The owner was very responsive and even called to give me some pointers about the property.

The home was absolutely beautiful, upon arrival seeing the deers welcome us was absolutely incredible! The lake was perfect we had our private area on the lake, the walk down to the lake was kind of scary but adventurous!

Wonderful weekend at the lake
Our stay was wonderful. We had a group of 4 couples stay at the property for Labor Day weekend and there was plenty of room and privacy for all of us. Patty and Craig were very communicative and helpful. The view was great. We will definitely be staying again when we make our next trip to Canyon Lake.

Fun friend getaway!
We had 5 adults on our vacation, no couples, and the property was perfect! Great for floating the river and also driving to The Riverwalk for dinner! We would all stay again!

Great place for family vacation!
The house was very clean and well taken care of. Plenty of room for my family’s vacation. Walk way down to the water was steep but once you go up and down a few times you get the hang of it. The view of the lake from the patio was breathtaking during sunrise and sunset. Great place for a family vacation overall. Great location.

We had a great trip out to Canyon Lake and the surrounding area. The house was great for three couples in our party and our pup. Beds were comfy, house was clean, hot tub worked great, and check-in was easy. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars was because of the kitchen/dining area. There's no indoor table to eat at, only outdoor patio seating, and the kitchen itself is pretty cramped.

We had a great trip out to Canyon Lake and the surrounding area. The house was great for three couples in our party and our pup. Beds were comfy, house was clean, hot tub worked great, and check-in was easy. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars was because of the kitchen/dining area. There's no indoor table to eat at, only outdoor patio seating, and the kitchen itself is pretty cramped.

Big cottage with nice lake view
The house is big enough for a larger group or families sharing. Nice lake view. Just note that the path down to the lake is steep and not the best for very young kids and elderly.
The lake water is nice and clear. Wear swim shoes - our kids cut their feet on the rocks. The shoreline is shared with neighbors, not a problem since it is quite peaceful but note that you cannot have your dogs run around free, at least when the neighbors are home, because the yard is not fenced off.
Bring your own filter coffee, briquettes for the grill, tin foil and spices.
We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked neat and had been cleaned before we arrived.
If you want to rent a boat or fishing trip, the marina is just a 10 min drive away. Book a rental boat well in advance, a week ahead if possible!

Awesome view
Had a great time. Pat and Hardy were very attentive and sweet. The path to the lake is a bit long but worth it. Hot tub was great. Had a terrific time.

So much fun!
We have a group of 10 that gets together every year to vacation together. We had the best time at the Cove! Everyone had plenty of space. We spent our days out on the boat. The location is amazing! The owners were great too!

An amazing place to stay. Would highly recommend
This place was perfect for our family trip. Highly recommended. This is a multi level house with privacy for each of us. Great patio with a beautiful view. Very clean the owners were amazing to work with. Lots to do in the area. Had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice location, wonderful view
The house is spacious, the owners were very responsive in resolving internet access problem. There are plenty of activities around the lake, and having a meal at Gennaro's Trattoria is like icing on the cake.

Canyon Lake
Comfortable multilevel house perched on the rim of Canyon Lake. We enjoyed boating, fishing, bird watching and family time together. Thanks, Patti and Craig , for sharing your home.

We came with dogs and young kids and had a wonderful time! We felt safe and comfortable.
Our 4 and 6 year olds has a great time adventuring and we felt they were safe. It’s very dog friendly and the owners are very easy to get ahold of and very friendly. Close enough to go to the city for the day or stay at the house and enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely come back!

Hot tub was awesome
Our group had a blast at Canyon Lake. We parked our boat at the water and walked directly to the house. It was nice not to have to trailer our boat at the end of the day. The house worked out really well as it gave us a degree of privacy . The patios were great, and the hot tub was awesome.

Very nice place!
Very nice place, updated inside. Just the size we needed for our family. Would stay here again in we return to Canyon Lake. Owner was in touch during the stay and made sure we had everything we needed. No complaints here!

So much fun!
We went to Canyon Lake with three couples from our old college days for a reunion. We had so much fun! The house was perfect for our clan. We all has plenty of individual room as well as room to gather and have fun as a group!

Beautiful
Beautiful, got to see so many deer freely roaming around. The home is very clean and overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hot tub at night was great!

If you want a place to relax on your deck overlooking Canyon Lake, you've found it! FYI, it's multilevel, and not the best property for handicap access. 4 bedrooms, plenty of space for everyone.
